Emscote Day Nursery is a warm and friendly day nursery located in Leamington Spa.

Highly trained practitioners support learning through structured and free play activities designed in line with EYFS principles.

Emscote Day Nursery also offer the extracurricular activity of ‘The Guitar Man’ who comes to sing alternative nursery rhymes with the Butterflies and Preschool rooms every Wednesday morning from 10-11am.

Emscote offers a fully inclusive package, open from 7.30-6.30 aiming to provide a convenient service to parents.

My child started at the beginning of this month and the team have gone above and beyond to help settle him. They have been so attentive, kind and caring. Myself and my child are always greeted with big smiles from both the reception desk and the girls in the room.

My two children have been at this nursery since they were both 10 months old, one now in preschool and one in caterpillars; the care the teams show throughout the nursery is truly amazing and I am very grateful. The feedback and support from all staff here is great and they really want the best for
my children as much as I do.
The preschool team have been very supportive and have been providing so many great learning opportunities and challenging my Childs abilities with teaching.
The caterpillar team have been amazing at settling my youngest into nursery, he is the happiest boy and is shown so much care.

Really lovely feel about the nursery. My niece had attended four years earlier and with the best start is growing up to be a kind, intelligent and confident little girl. My daughter was nine months when she started in September. The staff are an excellent support and go above and beyond with requests
to ensure a home from home experience and to ensure I have very little to do in the evenings in terms of meeting all my daughter's needs before bed. This means the 90 minutes or so we get together at the end of the day is quality time, with me still feeding her her beloved bottle before bed which is an excellent bonding time for us. (The nursery offered to do this every day for me if I'd preferred). The communication from the staff when there has been an issue (ie my daughter starting to feel poorly) was also excellent and the updates on the app of her various activities throughout the day brighten my day at work. Of all the nurseries I visited I believe Emscote was the perfect choice.

Two of my children attended this nursery and have loved it! They have both enjoyed going and grown so much during their time at Emscote. The staff are lovely and really care about the kids. I'll be sad not to have any kids at the nursery as it feels like a lovely community.

Our son has been going to this nursery for 18 months now and we couldn't be happier. The staff are wonderful, all the carers who have been his key workers have been fantastic and have shared genuine care for our son. He is bilingual and they have made an effort to learn a few words, or just encourage
him and help him to catch up with the language through activities and one-to-one time. He is incredibly happy when we drop him off and pick him up and has even made lovely little friends here.
The facilities are great, with massive gardens for the children to play in and the food menu is good too!
Would send my next child here without a doubt!

Best nursery staff ever! They have a really low staff turnover which means your children actually develop lasting relationships with people who know them. My daughter, now 7, still enjoys popping in to collect her brother and saying hi to staff. My son loves his teachers and has developed cementing
relationships in each class. The staff are caring, thoughtful, fun, and genuinely want the best for your children- it's like sending them in for a day with family. To top it off my children have a broad palate after eating a variety of food with lots of fish and lentils involved - thank you.

My little one has truly grown out of his shell since starting nursery. The staff in caterpillars are awesome and worked patiently with him to learn his routine and adapt to nursery environment at his pace. His key person worked over and beyond to truly understand him and he absolutely loved her.

The admin staff are excellent at responding to emails and communicating with prospective parents. The level of engagement I received from admin prior to joining was one of the reasons that drew me to the nursery

I was invited to a Mother’s Day afternoon tea and party. A good time was enjoyed by children and adults alike. It was a chance to catch up with other mums and staff. Also, a chance to see your child at play and interacting with their peers. My grandson loved showing me the collection of cars and making
a makeshift ramp to send them colliding and crashing to the bottom. There was playdough flower pressing tables, soil and seed planting, biscuit decorating and much more. Everyone enjoyed tea - sandwiches and cake, and Devonshire scones for the grown-ups! Before we left we had a quiet time in the reading corner.

Both my children have gone here from very young age and I love it! Couldn't think of anywhere I would rather my children to be. They are so well looked after and cared for. All the staff remember my older daughter. My son loves it there, they have so much time to spend with all the children and knows

Claire is the Manager of Emscote House Day Nursery and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector since 2005 - starting as an Apprentice straight out of college. Claire has numerous qualifications, including Level 2 & 3 NVQ in Childcare, Learning and Education and an NVQ in Team Leading. Claire has worked for Childbase Partnership since 2012.


What is your favourite feature of the nursery?
My favourite feature of the nursery is the character and original features of the building, as well as the warm and engaging environment we create for the children.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am most proud of the home-from-home feel we as a team deliver each day, even though we are a big nursery, as well as how we have grown and developed over the years.
