I've sent all 4 of my children to The Garden House Nursery from age 1 to going to school and I can honestly say they have all had the most wonderful positive experience. The staff are lovely, kind, nurturing and knowledgable about all the children in the rooms.

My son started going here aged 17m and is now 21m and genuinely enjoys going in to nursery. He had previously attended a different nursery however I withdrew him after a week as it just didn't feel quite right. However, he has settled into the Ark so well, positively impacting his development and routine. The staff are always so lovely and kind and easily approachable.

Such a lovely nursery with amazing, caring staff who really go above and beyond for the children. My daughter is always happy and well looked after, and it's wonderful to see how much she's learning and growing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about the children. I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend this nursery!

All staff are super nice, friendly and helpful, and my daughter absolutely loves being there. She has built a lovely relationship with all the staff and has come on leaps and bounds since starting two years ago. I couldn't be happier with the care and support she receives, and I'm so grateful to see how much she has grown in confidence and developed during her time there.

I am very happy. The staff is great and really helpfull.. With lots of patience. Trying to help my child settle in even she dont understand language very well. My child is learning new things and then she talk about it at home too.

My son started at Cheshire Day Nursery Guardian Street earlier this year and we love it! He gets so excited when we arrive and is in no rush to leave when I pick him up. Both me and my husband get regular updates throughout the day on his meals, naps, nappy changes etc as well as lovely photos and videos to see. His development is tracked and we get regular updates on how he's progressing. The staff in the baby/ tweenie room are amazing and couldn't do more for him. Management are amazing and make sure we are fully up to date with changes or general info. It's incredible to see how much of an impact they are having on him as he learns something new everyday.

We love garden house! The staff are so warm and focus on each child as an individual and think proactively about how to make sure they're thriving. I feel so confident my child is shown love, fun and care when they're at nursery.

My son is at garden house in piglets and was in baby room before. He is extremely happy and I have been extremely happy with the progress he makes and how personalised his care is. I have always felt they know him well and I am not sure how much more I could ask for. The nursery teachers are kind, talented, patient and engaged in their learning. I would like to also say I get a daily update without fail on the app with feedback specific to my child and lovely photos of what he has been doing in which he is always happy. Thank you!

Barnkids has truly been turned around this year, which is now reflected in the latest ofsted report. I am so much more confident and happier in dropping my child off and appreciate the dedicated staff who are putting a huge amount of effort into observations, handovers and planning. The final puzzle piece is to ensure we get a permanent Manager again, since the temporary one (who has done an excellent job) will soon be going part time. Overall, we are very happy with the nursery again.

My child it's been there since October last year , she started very young and she come a long way, every days I leave her in the morning they always smile and make me feel at ease and I trust them with my child , always friendly and caring the best nursery in Windsor .

Our daughter has settled in really well with the help of kind and friendly staff who have gone our of their way to get to know her, and to support her transition. Communication from management has been and continues to be poor, but the staff are otherwise great.

Our little one is always happy going into nursery, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I like that the staff in the room are fairly consistent so there are always familiar faces. There is a good variety of food on the menu each day

Our son has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Little Pips so far. He joined earlier in the month and this has been his first experience of being without me. He has settled in beautifully and seems to enjoy going to nursery very much. He eats extraordinarily well and eats better than me. The staff are so lovely and you can tell how much they care for each and every child.

We have been very happy with our daughter's time at nursery. It has been a delight to see her grow in confidence, gaining the independence to do more things for herself. She has developed some lovely relationships with the children, and staff around her. Staff are attentive and caring and seem to take the time to really get to know the children. We have seen such a progression in our daughter since joining, and we are reassured knowing that she is so well looked each day.

We find our son has a positive experience here. He's fed well, gets to go on walks, and seems much more confident in his play with others compared to before starting nursery. The team are also great at remembering all the kids' names, which adds a special personal touch which I especially love.

My little girl loves all the outside space and the messy play that they do at nursery! She also absolutely loves her food and it's rare that she ever refuses anything provided! We could have chosen a better setting for our baby!

Our son has been at Little Pips for a month now and the nursery staff have all been so kind, welcoming and understanding of what a big transition it is for both toddler and parents. He's always a little sad when we say goodbye but soon perks up and we've seen some lovely photos of him enjoying his day. They get time outside every day which he loves and was important to us too! Communication is great and the staff always take the time before and after to chat to us about how the day went and any questions we have as well as keeping all the key info updated in the app (nap times, meals eaten etc). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Little Pips to other parents, thank you!

Well planned activities building up his confidence, independence and social skills over the year. Most importantly, he came home with a smile on his face literally every single day. As a big believer in nature therapy, I can't recommend it enough. Give it a go, and if anything, start earlier rather than later.

The core staff were generally very good - very hard working and genuinely caring for the children. They do excellent work. In our experience the nursery was let down by company management - both on-site and regional in the Bright Stars corporation (Pilrig was sold years ago, but the website was never updated). In two years our child had up to around 10 trips outside the nursery gates, all to a park across the road. Months would go by without any outings. Generally, perhaps because of a heavy reliance on agency staff, children had only their room and an outdoor area to play in. There seemed a general lack of structure and planning by managers, with every day just taken as it comes and staff having to cope. Room transitions were poorly explained and conducted, and conversations with management were reassuring at the time but led to very little. Recent managerial room reorganisations of age groups were made without meaningful consultation. We withdrew our child in summer 2026.
