My daughter started at bright stars at 9 months old and is just about to start pre school. She has loved it here. All of the staff are amazing + so friendly. She enjoys all of the activities, the outside space and has tried many different types of food.

We are very pleased with the education, care and attention our son has received at Little House. We have watched his character grow over the years and he leaves with the confidence to take on "big school".
We have loved hearing his stories of show and tell, mini athletics and theatre bugs. In particular
we are thankful for the special bonds he has built with Louisa and her team and look forward to our youngest having the same experience in the coming months.

Headstart used to be a great family run business. However, since being taken over by Bright Stars nursery group in the autumn of 2023; owned by investment firm Oakley Capital; the service provision has deteriorated, fees have increased and the majority of permanent staff have resigned, leaving a bank
of agency staff whom I'm sure are great but offer little to no continuity of care for children or parents. The nursery can feel chaotic, communication is poor and needless to say any perks, trips or individualised care have disappeared. You may get an update on your child once a quarter, and each child seems to have the same key worker in each room (due to the low level of permanent staff, I imagine.) I appreciate the new government childcare provisions must have stretched nurseries and honestly hope Bright Stars manage to sort the issues out at Headstart. This will be the last week for my son as we are moving him to an alternative childcare provider, as are others.

My son went to both the nursery and the pre school of little learners and can I just say these ladies are absolutely amazing. My son has level 3 autism and the bonds he can created is sensational. His key worker has been absolutely amazing ensuring he has the best time at nursery and the best experiences.
She has been there for him every single time. He adores her. He loves all of the ladies. The Senco has gone out of her way to support not only him but me aswell and has always been there for anything I need o need help with. I will never be able to explain just how much of an impact little learners has made on me and my son. Creating a safe space for my little boy and having so much patience and love and care . So for that I say thank you so so much all of you

the children in the forest, I always love reading the daily updates and hearing what fun things they have been doing, often including adventure walks, arts and crafts and lots of imaginative play.
The communication with parents is superb and the staff are all extremely caring and have been so helpful with advice for us as we navigate through these toddler years.

Amazing nursery! Nursery times has been a part of our family for over 10 years, from my eldest who is now 11 and my youngest who is 3! Staff are amazing, informative, supportive and overall just the best bunch about. Although I have been on along journey here the professionalism has never expired. I'm
always kept up to date and most of all feel that my child is safe and happy attending. I love that it's mostly the same staff throughout these years. Highly recommend the management team and all the staff that work here, doing a great job!

Excellent nursery. I can't praise LFF highly enough. Their approach to play and education is of the highest standard and it's clear what a positive effect the outdoor environment has on the children. It's the most idyllic pre-school setting, I'd recommend it to anyone I know.

We're absolutely delighted. My little boy settled in straight away, which I think speaks volumes about the wonderful staff. It's clear that everyone, from staff to management genuinely cares.

My son has been attending this nursery for the past two years, and since moving into the preschool room, he has come on in leaps and bounds. The staff are absolutely amazing with him, they take the time to sit with him, nurture his confidence, and support his development in such a thoughtful and caring
way. One thing I really value is the presence of a few male staff members. It's so important for young boys to have positive male role models, and I think it brings a lovely balance to the environment. The outdoor space is phenomenal, and I love how much time the children spend outside, it's by far my little boy's favourite part of the day! He's also formed a strong friendship there, and it's been so special to watch their bond grow.
Another fantastic aspect of this nursery is the variety of external activity groups they bring in each day, from football to music and even French. It adds such great variety and keeps the children engaged in learning through fun!

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. At first, we were put off by the lack of outside space, but this is more than made up for by the extreme quality of care and attention that the children get, and the range of activities they do to encourage the kids to play and learn. They also go on regular trips
outside to the parks and St Kat's Dock. My son settled here very quickly, and it is clear how much he enjoys his days there. I have no doubt this is due to the kindness and care of all of the different staff members, who have really taken the time to know him and understand him. We've also really noticed how much our son is learning at the nursery, and how he enjoys the activities there. It's so wonderful to know he's being so well looked after while we're at work.

The nursery has fantastic garden and outdoor facilities, which provide a great environment for the children to explore and play. Our family have noticed some positive improvements over the past few months, particularly with new staff members who appear much more engaged and attentive during pick-up
times.
It's encouraging to see fresh energy and enthusiasm from the newer team members. However, it's worth noting that some of the longer-standing staff occasionally appear less involved, often sitting passively rather than interacting with the children.However I do appreciate my grandchild is quite independent.
The nursery does very good at keeping parents and carers updated.
Overall, I appreciate the progress being made.

From the moment out baby daughter started at the nursery staff have been truly phenomenal. The dedication, hard work, skill and most importantly the warmth exuded by all staff has been so consistent and has helped settled our baby so quickly. The nursery facilities are equally impressive ... large spacious
rooms which are never overcrowded, beautifully presented and always seem to be replenished with new resources. Management team are very visible, accessible, speedy in getting back to you and clearly have a real love, passion and commitment to the nursery.

My daughter loves coming to nursery. Not only to play with friends but also to learn and grow. Her language and independent play has come on leaps and bounds. The ladies in the toddler room are fantastic, friendly, supportive and are always coming up with exciting play ideas. An example of this being
the children learning the lifecycle of a butterfly. I would thoroughly recommend Ladybird Nursery.
