My name is Lorraine and I would like to take this opportunity to properly introduce myself. I have worked in Early Years since 2010 where I joined a local nursery close to my home. I worked there for 13 years, joining as a nursery assistant. I progressed through different positions such as Nursery Practitioner, Team Leader, Deputy Manager and then Manager where I have done a lot of CPD with extra courses to further my knowledge. I am level 5 qualified and hold extra certificates in advanced safeguarding, health and safety, fire warden, SENDCo. I enjoy sailing, dog walks and a little bit of DIY! I am a friendly character and have an open-door policy to any parents/carers who would like to have a chat.
I have a passion for working with children and take pride in ensuring they have the best start to both education and life.
Hi, my name is Sureena and I'm the preschool's room leader/ third in charge. I currently hold a level 3 qualification in child care and have recently just enrolled in doing my level 5 in child care.
I've been working in childcare for about 7 years. Previously I worked in a special needs school which specialised in autism, for about 5 years as a High-level teaching assistant. And the last two years I have been based at one other nursery as a room leader, before joining Purley Children's Nursery earlier this year.
I'm a very family-oriented person so outside of work one of my favourite things is to spend quality time with my family and friends.
