The Cheshire Day Nursery @ Guardian Street is conveniently located behind Warrington Hospital and just outside Warrington town centre. For over 10 years, the nursery has proudly provided exceptional childcare, offering enriching extra-curricular activities such as yoga and Forest School.

The nursery follows a thoughtfully designed curriculum, ensuring that each child's learning and development are prioritised from the moment they join. Flexible attendance schedules are available to accommodate parents who work shifts, providing much-needed support for working families.

At The Cheshire Day Nursery @ Guardian Street, the team places every child's learning, development, and safety at the heart of their mission. By working closely with the local community and professionals, they ensure that any additional needs are met. The team supports children and families through key transitions, whether moving between rooms or preparing for school, fostering a sense of security and confidence.

My little girl has been attending this nursery since Feb 2025 and I can't thank all the staff there enough! She settled straight in and absolutely loves everyone that has worked with her. Her speech and overall development has come on so much and there is always plenty of activities going on relating
to the season. I was very nervous when she started nursery as every parent is but I take her in knowing she is well looked after and supported. The communication is spot on and the app regularly updated. Thank you so much!

I can't praise the nursery enough. My little boy loves going to nursery. He loves the staff, as do i. They are always friendly, accommodating and always there to listen if needed.
The facilities are amazing, they do so much with the children. Even having activities in the reception to take home and
do with your child if you want to.
The food menu is always accommodating and varied. My little boy loves the food (sometimes having seconds)

My daughter is having a wonderful time with yourselves. She enjoys coming to play and learn and we love the varied curriculum and meals.


She has settled really well and loves the staff and being able to do fun activities and play with her favourite toys.

My Daughter has been at the nursery since she was 9 months old, she is now in the Tweenies room and is Two next week!
She has come on leaps and bounds in the nursery! The staff are absolutely fantastic and I couldn't be more thankful for all their help and support encouraging her to learn and develop
but also with such a caring and genuine care for all the children in the nursery!

Our daughter (24 months) has been attending this lovely nursery from April 2024, starting in the Baby Room, and she is currently in Tweenies.
Every member of staff has been amazing with her. We have never had any concerns, they have always been transparent with us. If any incidents or accidents have
taken place involving our little girl, we have always had a phone call to let us know.
Our toddler loves going to nursery and she's delighted every morning when she walks in, she almost doesn't turn to say bye to her daddy as she is so excited!
The manager does a great job keeping us parents on the loop with what is happening in the nursery, and we love that they encourage us to participate in different activities as a family.
Our little girl is being raised as bilingual and they have been really supportive with this. They sometimes play nursery rhymes in Spanish in class for her, they have asked her dad to come read a story to all the children, etc.

I absolutely love this nursery. My eldest went here and he loved it! Never wanted to leave! My youngest is currently in tweenie room and when he goes in he always has a smile on his face! The staff are amazing and treat them like family.
Wouldn't have my kids going anywhere else!

We had a very unpleasant experience with this nursery, therefore we don't recommend it. We had to unfortunately withdraw our son from their care after only 4 days over some concerns we had. Unfortunately I can't provide more information on the nature of the concerns. We decided to report our concerns

We've been delighted with our experience at Cheshire Day Nursery @ Guardian Street since July 2023. The staff in the Toddler room are exceptionally caring and attentive, providing a nurturing environment where our son thrives. The facilities are well-maintained, meals are nutritious and varied, the
activities are both educational and engaging. It's been wonderful to see our little one grow and develop in such a supportive setting. The management have been highly approachable and supportive making it a seamless experience for us as parents also. Highly recommended as an outstanding nursery! Thank you to all the amazing team!

Wonderful staff, Happy child. My daughter is happy in nursery. Though we are not often able to follow the details of activities they do, at the end of the she looks happy and that's important to us. Her overall communication skills have developed very well.

My daughter loves going into the Tweenies room in the morning. Her speech has come on leaps and bounds and this is all thanks to the hard work the staff in the room put into my child's care. We have regular updates and we know she is in safe hands.

My son started here approx 6 months ago. He settled in really well with the help of the amazing staff! The staff here are so helpful and friendly while remaining professional. The nursery provide daily updates via an app, they make sure there are plenty of activities to do and I am happy with how well
he is cared for. He is always excited to go to nursery and I cannot recommend this setting highly enough!

My name is Rachael and I have my Level 3 certificate in childcare and education. I have also completed my Early Years Foundation Degree. I have worked at our sister setting at Winwick since 2003 and have recently changed settings when the opportunity came up, to set myself a new challenge and gain new experiences I have 2 children, Olivia and Dexter.
