Lilliput Children’s Centre is a warm and nurturing nursery located in the heart of Hersham, offering quality care and education for children from babies through to preschool age. The team is passionate about providing a safe, inspiring space where children feel loved, supported, and confident to explore.
Each room is thoughtfully designed to meet children’s developmental needs, with experienced staff who build strong bonds with both children and families. Lilliput believes in learning through play and provides engaging environments that spark curiosity and imagination.
A unique feature of the setting is its outdoor heated pool. Children aged 3+ enjoy weekly swimming lessons with a qualified instructor, while all age groups benefit from fun water activities during warmer months. Alongside this, weekly PE sessions help support physical development through active play and movement.
Lilliput is proud to offer innovative initiatives such as Little Dreamers Club, an enhanced learning environment, and Tiny Treasures Club, a free monthly class for under 2s and newly enrolled families. Both are designed to build early confidence, relationships, and joy in learning.
Emotional wellbeing is at the heart of everything they do. The introduction of empathy dolls, supported by original stories written in-house, helps children express and understand their emotions. These tools have already had a visible impact across the setting.
Lilliput’s family partnerships are strong, with regular events and open communication. Children also recently experienced chick hatching, with two chicks joining the nursery permanently—bringing learning to life in a memorable way.

We recommend this nursery to all looking for a safe fun place for their child. From the facilities to the staff and food and activities they are all 5 star and both my boys love it there. They have both come on leaps and bounds.

Our daughter has been at Liliputs since July 2025 and we have been so pleased with how much she loves her time there. The staff are so friendly, caring and supportive, always being so attentive and respectful to the children and parents.
Our daughter settled in so well when she first started in the baby room, and has since enjoyed moving up a room and exploring/learning more. The facilities are lovely, they are always doing activities and going outside, and the food is varied and nutritious.
The app has made it really easy to check in on how she is doing, communicate with management if needed, and best of all getting lovely photos and observations on what she's been up to and learning.

My eldest has been at Lilliput for 2 and a half years, and my littlest for 6 months now. They both absolutely love it and we're so happy with our choice! All of the staff are incredible, they put so much effort into creating fun activities and good learning activities. The multiple rooms allows for continuous exploration and development. They've invested so much recently into creating even lovelier spaces. The menu is incredible, they're focused on giving the children a healthy and varied diet. The focus on environment, looking after the chickens, planting in the garden is all wonderful. I would highly recommend Lilliput to any prospective parents, looking for a kind, nurturing, fun and educational environment for their kids!

As a parent, the thought of leaving your little one with someone new can be incredibly daunting. However, from the very beginning, Liliputs has felt like an extension of our family. My son runs into nursery each day and comes out with the biggest smile on his face - and that's no coincidence. It's a true reflection of the care, effort, kindness, and love shown by the staff, along with the thoughtful personal touches they provide. Because of this wonderful experience, we had no hesitation in enrolling our daughter, who will be starting at Liliputs in January 2026. I would also like to give a special mention to Chantelle in Poppies, who has been our shining star. She has truly gone above and beyond for our family, and we can't thank her enough. Daisey has also made some truly inspiring and exciting improvements to the Nursery this year. Thank you!

Daisey who runs the nursery was so helpful and reassured me on all my worries about her joining. It was the best decision I made. She's so happy there and it's wonderful to see such a great team of staff who really care. You can tell that comes from Daisey at the helm. Can't speak highly enough of them. I'll be sad when she has to leave as it feels like a family.

When we moved to Hersham we had (slightly naively) not done a load of research on nurseries and schools etc. On looking around Lilliputs initially, we liked the size and setup of it but what we hugely underestimated is the quality and care of the staff there. We have put both our kids through Lilliputs and they have both loved every second of it. It is very rare they don't or didn't run in with a smile on their face, rarely looking back as they march in for their morning breakfast with their mates. The Lilliputs staff are the reason for my feedback, I could not speak to highly of them.

We are incredibly happy with the care that is provided by Lilliput Children's Centre. Both our children have made their way up through the classrooms here and they have really enjoyed their time here. Our youngest child is in pre school currently and her learning and development has been excellent with great guidance from teachers she loves. She is happy every day to go to preschool and we know she will have a full and enriching day each day with a great variety of activities and opportunities, sweet friends she gets on with well and a fantastic relationship with all the teachers she is cared for by. We would highly recommend Lilliputs to any prospective families.

We've been with lilliput for nearly a year now and have a very high level of satisfaction with our choice. We've been with lilliput for nearly a year now and have a very high level of satisfaction with our choice. Our child settled incredibly quickly in the baby room where all the staff are attentive, caring and very switched on. Special mention to Jo who our child adores. The move up to the next room was handled very well with a period of going between both rooms and once again the entire team exceed any expectations I could have. Julie, Gabby, Dani, Fario and Chan all deserve special mention.The food choices are varied and seem like well balanced choices. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. I love the fact that every room has its own outdoor space suitable for the ages of the children and the swimming pool was a strong selling point and we were pleased to see it was used well this summer.

I knew from the moment I had the show round that this was a special place and we have been so impressed with the operations and care our daughter has received. Her key workers are amazing - she loves them - and it's a huge weight off our shoulders, especially as she started at nursery part time a bit sooner than I had planned. I love that they get taken out on the push bus all year round, and I'd love to see more of this outdoor / play in nature. Also love the chickens :) Thanks for all your hard work and care.

I'm a very insecure mum who needed lots of updates during those first few days. Sorry, ladies! And thank you so much for your wonderful care for both the children and the mums.
