Overall Experience

My son started at Lilliputs when he was just 14 months old and I couldn't be happier with the care and support he and us as a family have received over the years. The staff are genuinely caring, nurturing, and always take the time to make each child feel safe and valued.

The variety of activities they

offer is fantastic (including the use of an on site swimming pool) and they are really well-tailored to each stage of development. It's been wonderful to watch my son grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity thanks to the thoughtful experiences they provide every day. I look forward to hearing about all the fun he has had at the end of his busy day.

We are very grateful to the whole team for creating such a warm, stimulating, and supportive environment. I would highly recommend Lilliputs to any parent looking for a place where their child will thrive and the whole family will be looked after.

Overall Experience

Our daughter joined the Baby Room at Friends Forest Nursery in September 2025 and we have been delighted with the care that she receives each day that she attends. The settling in process was well thought out and smooth and our daughter settled in to nursery life very quickly. The nursery is safe and

welcoming. Staff are friendly, kind and attentive; they have established a wonderful relationship with our daughter! Staff always provide engaging and enjoyable learning throughout the day which is then shared via the communication app. We have really appreciated receiving updates throughout the day, furthermore receiving information about planned observations and recommendations of how we could further support learning at home. After only a few months, we can already see how much progress our daughter has made and how much she is thriving! We cannot thank the staff enough for all that they do for her.

Overall Experience

Friends Forest has been a wonderful place for our child to learn and grow. The staff are caring, attentive, and genuinely interested in our child's development. Our daughter has become more confident, social and curious since joining, and it's clear the team creates a nurturing and stimulating environment

every day. Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed and reasured. We couldn't be happier with the care and support our child receives at Friends Forest.

Our son spent three years at Ashburton and our daughter is currently at the nursery. We have had such a positive experience at Ashburton and would highly recommend it to any prospective parents. It has been so heartwarming watching our son grow over the years and I know that, even now that he has started

All three of my children have attended Ashburton House and my youngest is currently in baby room. I am so grateful for how caring the staff are, and for all the imaginative activities they come up with. My little boy bounces into nursery each morning and always seems to have a lovely day. Couldn't recommend Ashburton more highly. I have 2 children that have attended (youngest currently in preschool). The staff are excellent, so caring and continuously come up with fun activities for the children to do. In preschool in particular the activities really prepare them for the transition to

We moved our child from another nursery because we weren't satisfied with the level of care and we're so glad we picked Winkworth. Our child is very happy too. Always smiling in update photos, and talks all the time about the teachers and her friends.

We have been over the moon with our 3 year olds transition to Little Forest Folk - Winkworth. It felt like within days the team really understood, cared for & championed our little girl - she was no longer just a number but a little person and part of a team. The creativity of the team is amazing -

I'm blown away by the activities they come up with and the learning/ experiences our little one gets. Communication is always open to the level of the amount of breakfast our little one eats (if needed!), and I've never felt more happy & confident with a nursery setting. The staff are amazing - Karlenne & Charlotte have been outstanding & the bond they have with our daughter is wonderful. With being outside all day she never comes home overwhelmed, but full of songs, knowledge and enthusiasm about her day. Thank you team!

Little Forest folk Winkworth is a magical place. It has been all we needed and more for our little one.
The staff members are SO lovely and clearly love what they do despite the fact that it must be exhausting for them with all the effort they put in to giving the children a wonderful day!
Nearly all

the time spent outdoors, fantastic free play and structured opportunities, nutritious food and loving care givers. I honestly can not fault it.
My mother's family is from Norway where Forest school-type education tends to be the norm, especially at nursery age. Little Forest folk reminds me so much of watching my little cousins growing up going to similar settings. 10/10 from a scandi family!
I truly appreciate the photos and updates we get during the day as well. It makes such a huge difference to see your little one's smiling face when you are missing/worried about them.

Overall Experience

We highly recommend Ashburton House. We have had our two children start from 9 months and stay through to preschool and the staff are absolutely wonderful, nurturing, warm and like a second family. The nursery manager is brilliant and we honestly cannot fault the learning and the variety of activities

available, including visits from animals, sensory baby and toddler development classes, and trips out to the park. The garden is also great! Our children have formed very strong bonds with their carers and have been so happy and settled, and when encountering transitions when first starting or between rooms the team have been flexible and mindful of the need for a bit more support. A wonderful place with many happy memories formed.

Overall Experience

We would like to thank the manager and her team at Lilliputs Children's Centre for the professional and excellent care they have given our son. From start to finish, a gentle familiarisation and induction process made him feel comfortable and happy in his new care surroundings. The nursery ensured a

healthy mix of time spent on the mat having stories, playing in the field, the playground and crafting and creative activities. A unique selling point for Lilliputs is the swimming lessons offered to the children in groups of four or five which has grown his confidence in the water hugely - thanks to the teacher. We would like to say a special thanks to our son's pre-school key worker. He diligently looked after son and has prepared him for the next transition well. The report is very promising and demonstrates how well he has got to know him.
The nursery genuinely cares about every child in the setting and we can only highly recommend to anyone considering Lilliputs.

My son has had the most fantastic time at Lilliput. He joined at just 12 months old and is now about to 'graduate' from pre-school to start school. As a nervous and worried new mother, I found the transition incredibly hard - but the staff supported not only my son, but also me, every step of the way.

What truly sets Lilliput apart is the staff. Their long tenure and low turnover are rare in a nursery setting, and it makes a world of difference. The children build strong, lasting relationships, and you can really see how well the team works together. They manage transitions between rooms seamlessly, and their warmth and professionalism shine through in everything they do. The facilities are outstanding - with multiple indoor playrooms, outdoor playgrounds, a swimming pool, and access to a huge field across the road where the children love to run and explore. It's a dream environment for little ones, I will be forever grateful to them for the wonderful experience they have given my son.

Overall Experience

We have been with Lilliput for 4.5 years and counting and we've had the best Nursery/Preschool experience for our girls. The facilities are great with lots of space and age-specific resources and we love that the children are moved along at a pace that means they're with children of the same age and

learning/doing activities that are appropriate and enjoyable for them. Having multiple gardens, climbing equipment, space to run around in the filed and a swimming pool are also obviously a huge bonus! Our girls have taken part in some really lovely events like the Nativity, Christmas Party, Preschool Graduation and Family Fun Days and they and we have made friends along the way. Above everything else the best thing about Lilliput is the staff - they are lovely and it's a great feeling knowing that our youngest is being looked after by the same team who were there when our eldest was there. Overall we couldn't recommend it enough and are so happy with our choice!
