Abbey is a fantastic nursery. As a family we have used the nursery since Jan 2022. It has been a great place for both my son and daughter. They are so well looked after and cared for I know they are in safe hands. I would 100% recommend the nursery to anyone looking.

All of the ladies are amazing with the kids. They are nurturing but also promote discipline in the children. You can see that they truly care about the children. The outdoor play space is great and it's wonderful that the children get the opportunity to go out for walks and explore nature.
I think
modernising feedback via an app so that you can see what your child has been up to each day would be a significant improvement. The Facebook updates are lovely but don't feature each room each day so you could feasibly go the full week without seeing what your child is up to if they are not in every day. Would love to see more crafts and pre-school learning to write also.

We have had an excellent experience at Abbey since our son started in the baby room. We have now experienced the care, support, and experiences on offer in all three playrooms. At each stage in our son's development he has been nurtured, supported and challenged helping him grow into the little person
he is today. The staff have always been nurturing and caring allowing him to easily develop strong bonds allowing him to feel comfortable and happy.. making us feel very at ease knowing he is well looked after. The lunches are cooked fresh on site and has really helped and encouraged our son to try different foods. Now at the age of three he is able to come home with excitement to tell us all about his day and from which it is evident there is a wide range of experiences on offer to him throughout his nursery days. The app also allows for great communication and we love seeing receiving updates/pictures that we can look back on with our son.
We can't thank the staff enough!

I have both of my boys going to Abbey and my first has been going for 4 years. I have so much trust in the staff that work in the nursery and my boys love them all. I have never had any issues and the communication from the staff is 2nd to none.

Our little one has recently started at Happy Days and is taken so well to the setting and the team who look after her. This is her first time in a nursery and she skips into the room in the morning without looking back. We can only think it's the way the team support and nurture her and the other children.
Nothing seems like too much trouble. She comes home a happy little girl. The admin team are also amazing, so friendly and professional.

Happy Days Too is a brilliant nursery. My daughter has been in two different rooms and I have found the staff in both to be friendly, kind, caring and nurturing towards her. She loves going to nursery and is always so excited to tell me about her day when I pick her up. The staff provide feedback about
her day and are very approachable and helpful with any questions or concerns I have. I wouldn't hesistate in recommending the nursery. My older children attended a different nursery and I can see how well Happy Days nursery is run in comparison.

Our daughter has been at Happy Days Too since January 2024 and as a family, we've been incredibly impressed with the excellent care and attention received. The staff are kind, attentive, friendly, approachable and welcoming, and work hard to create a fun, stimulating and safe environment. Our daughter
loves her days at nursery and we love seeing all the photos at the end of each day showing us all the varied activities she's been enjoying. We're also impressed with the professional and organised management team and all the correspondence we receive keeping us up to date, which reassures us that we picked the right nursery for our daughter.

Our youngest is at Happy Days Too in Busby. Our eldest started at the nursery when we moved to the area when he was 2. With both children the nursery took a really personal approach to getting the children settled in their new rooms and routines. We love the staff and couldn't be happier with the care
the children receive. Our eldest had such a good experience and was well prepared for the transition to primary school. We didn't hesitate to send our youngest here - the people really do make it! Thank you all!

We couldn't be happier with the care our little one receives in the Bunnies Room at Abbey Nursery, Houston!

Southfield House Private Day Nursery is a wonderful nursery. The staff are very invested in the children and care for them deeply. Both our boys have gone to Southfield and I would highly recommend it.
The outdoor space here is great, lots to do and encouraged out in all weathers
The effort that
goes into celebrations and holidays is amazing - especially enjoy the kids learning about different cultures and faiths.
It previously had longer opening hours prior to covid, which was well suited to us, but they have never gone back to these, unfortunately.
I agree that the use of an app to form the profile/photos and reports of the kids would be a great addition and keep the nursery more paper-lite.
There is regular TV watching time, which I feel could be cut down on
Overall an amazing place for early years development and highly trusted, wonderful staff.

We have used Abbey Nursery since September 2023. We have always found all staff very friendly, approachable and caring. The menu changes regularly and our son is always offered an alternative if he doesn't like the first choice. There has always been excellent communication, and staff are quick to answer
any queries or concerns. We are very happy with our experience.

Our 20 month old son has been attending this nursery for 3 months now and we are very pleased with all aspects of his experience there. The staff have always been lovely; there are plenty of fun activities everyday & amazing meals. He is a fussy eater at home but has gotten on really well at the nursery,
often wanting a second helping! He is always in good spirits and having a great time when I pick him up. We are very grateful for all the care and nurturing he has been getting and would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

The nursery is a great environment for pre school children to flourish in. I have had 2 children attend from the age of 2 years to 5 years. The app they use to share updates with you through out the day makes you feel involved and connected.

My little one has been at the nursery since the baby room and has always loved going!
The staff are kind and really do care about the childs journey in the nursery!
The food/lunches seem well thought out /planned and love that's it's home cooked!
The app allows me to see what he has been doing
each day also :)

We have had an amazing experience at Happy Days Too.
My son was there from 2020 to 2022 and my daughter is currently there.
The staff are very friendly and loving towards the children.
They do such an amazing variety or activities and cover such a wide range of topics!
My daughter is so happy
going in every morning and loves telling me everything she has got up to.
I truly feel that I leave my little one somewhere where she is happy, loved, well cared for and nurtured.
