We have been sending our son to High House since he was 1 (now 4) and we've been so impressed by the environment they offer. Charlotte, Julie, Sue, Rita, Lucy and all the team are so nurturing and caring. And he loves Maria's food! I leave drop off every morning knowing that my son is left in a safe and secure place. Massive thank you to all.

I recommend all of my friends and family in the area that this nursery truly is the best.

Absolutely love this nursery for our daughter. She is so happy to go in the mornings and has formed a wonderful bond with her key worker and all the lovely staff looking after her. They do a lot of messy play, spend time outside and learn so much. The staff are very caring and sincere, they come up with so much fun stuff to do!

It's been a difficult transition for our daughter and us to send her to nursery but High House looked after us so well, I'm so very glad we chose this nursery for our little one.

Our daughter has been attending 3 days a week since she was 9 months old and she is soon to be leaving for school. The nursery have played such a key and pivotal role in her development over the years and to be honest, not sure I can take much credit myself!!. I believe she is quite advanced to peers her age outside of nursery and it's down to the learning there and the independence they are encouraged to have! When hearing about what the schools will cover in reception, it is something nursery are already doing. Phonics, basic sums, writing their name, Spanish, cooking etc. It's incredible how they do it all and how Charlotte, Lucy, Sue and the rest of the team in preschool are so creative with their learning, making it so much fun for the kids.

I highly recommend High House and my son will now be going in September when he is 11 months, once the eldest is moved up to school.

High House Nursery is truly an outstanding nursery. My daughter has thrived since being in the baby room, and that is entirely thanks to the amazing staff. Every single member of the team is so friendly and caring.

A special thank you to Charlotte, Sue, and Lucy in the preschool room, who consistently go above and beyond. Their dedication and effort do not go unnoticed, and my daughter's development is a reflection of that. We especially appreciate the weekly newsletters, which keep us informed about what's coming up, including activities and the phonics focus for the week.

The nursery also hosts wonderful events throughout the year, such as Christmas carols, Mother's Day afternoon tea, Easter egg trails, and pumpkin picking. These experiences give children the opportunity to explore, celebrate different occasions, and spend plenty of time outdoors, including forest school activities.

I couldn't recommend this nursery more highly. We are so grateful to the entire team!

Our daughter has thrived over the last 3 years at High House. The staff in each room have been attentive, supportive and encouraging as she has moved through the nursery. In particular, during the last two years in the pre school room, she has come on leaps and bounds under Charlotte's supervision and guidance. The introduction of phonics and early maths has really helped prepare her for school. Along with the day to day tasks, our daughter also loves the extra curricular activities put on - forest school, football, Spanish, yoga and tappy toes! She has made great friends whilst at the nursery and we are very grateful to all at High House for giving our daughter the best start.

Second Steps have been amazing, my son started when he was just 11 months old and is absolutely thriving. His confidence his speech, his physical ability to do things has just come on leaps and bounds. The nursery staff have also been very supportive when we have gone through difficult times as a family and we truly couldn't ask for more. My son is happy to spend time there and address his key workers which gives us peace of mind and helps with the mum guilt of having to work full time. Thank you SS!! We will definitely send our youngest here.

I cannot recommend Second Steps enough! I know we made the right decision for our son to attend nursery here - the staff are all so kind, friendly and capable, and they truly do care so much. My son has additional needs and they have gladly stepped up at every opportunity to ensure he is fully supported. I can go to work knowing he is having the best day and is in safe hands!

My son has been at Second Steps nursery since May 2025. The nursery staff are fantastic, provide great care and have really invested in his development. They are responsive, give thorough updates and always have a range of activities happening in his room. I would recommend the nursery to other parents.

While some of the staff are caring, the management's handling of fees, communication and fairness is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend parents look elsewhere - behind the scenes this nursery is not being run in the best interests of families or children.

All of the staff at Nursery on the Heath really do love and are for all of the children there. I always feel confident and happy dropping my daughter off and know that she is going to have a fun filled day. The staff always keep you well informed about your little ones day and the social media page is a great addition to see all of the lovely photos. I never worry that my daughter will be unsafe or not well cared for on her days at nursery and this is such a big reassurance for parents.

Such lovely caring staff, sensible policies and their passion for SEN has really overwhelmed me, these guys are really good. I love seeing pictures of my son having a great time here. On site chef also really nice.

Our children are so so happy at the nursery. The staff are caring and considerate of their and our families needs. I would recommend this nursery and the staff. They work very hard to make the day varied and exciting.

My son has now been at Orchard Barns for 2.5 years and in that time has grown and developed so much. He has so much fun with his friends and is always so full of beans when I go to pick him up. Now he's in the pre-school room he's in full preparation mode for when he goes to school in September and I feel really confident he'll be in a great position for that transition. My daughter also recently started at the nursery in the pre-toddlers room. The staff have been really supportive and reassuring as she's been settling in, with plenty of updates during the day which has been really helpful at such an emotional time as I head back to work after maternity leave.

We've had such a positive experience with this nursery. The staff are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in the children's development. My little one settled in quickly, which really put my mind at ease. Communication is great, and I love the updates and photos we receive-it's lovely seeing what they get up to each day. The environment is clean, safe, and full of engaging activities. I've seen such a boost in my child's confidence and social skills since starting here. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive setting!

My son is extremely happy at High House, he is learning something new every day and loves playing with his friends and nursery staff! The staff are all amazing and my son loves them, which really puts my mind at rest. Thank you. :)
