The staff here are genuinely lovely and our son has been happy - this review is no reflection on them. Our concerns lie firmly with decisions made at a management level (bright stars)
At ~£2,000/month, this is one of the most expensive nurseries in the area. We accepted that cost partly because of
the freshly cooked, home-made meals prepared by an on-site chef. Without warning or consultation, this has been replaced by an off-site frozen food provider. Many children are refusing the meals - this week our son was given crackers and butter for his tea as he wouldn't eat the ready meal on offer. For a premium nursery, this is unacceptable.
We strongly urge management to reinstate an on-site chef.
We also note four management changes in two years, no permanent manager currently in post, and increasing reliance on bank staff. The on-the-ground team continue to do a wonderful job despite this instability, but communication from head office has been nonexistant.
Reply from Dominic Scotton, Ops manager at The Park NurseryHi Sarah, Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased to hear your son has been happy and will share your comments with the team. We would like to discuss with you in person regarding your feedback. A member of our team will be in contact Thank you again for your feedback.

Had such a good experienc my child is thriving since joining and the preschool always ensure children are happy safe and learning and the environment is always inviting and fun looking. The Children always learning something new and the staff are exceptional and my child has a great bond and feels safe
going in every day and that as an parent I am reassured that my child is going to be happy. I'd like to mention that
the manger and deputy go above and beyond to ensure a safe, fun happy inviting environment as well as ensuring I as a patent are fully supported the whole

I recently visited Purley Nursery for a visit as my son needed a nursery place in the area. From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly & made me feel at ease. The nursery was amazing, child friendly with features such as a baking area and sensory room. All the children seemed happy and
staff were happy to talk to me. Such a positive experience.

I couldn't be happier with Puddle Ducks Nursery. My son has been attending since he was just 5 months old, and now, as he approaches 2 years old, it's been amazing to see how much he has grown and developed during his time there.
Since the change in management in January, the improvement has been
incredible. The nursery is truly going from strength to strength. Communication with parents is excellent, and it makes such a difference feeling informed and involved in your child's day-to-day experiences.
The new manager, Louisa, is always visible, incredibly approachable, and clearly passionate about creating a nurturing and positive environment for the children.
My son absolutely loves the activities on offer, especially the external football coaching and the forest school sessions. The beautiful garden and outdoor space are a real highlight and give the children plenty of opportunities to explore and play outside.
Reply from Louisa Morris, Manager at Puddle-Ducks NurseryThank you so much for your kind words, and we love being apart for your sons development.

Our son has had an excellent time at Zeeba Royal Arsenal, which he joined at age 12 months. The staff are always happy to see him, warmly interact with him, are communicative when he's unwell, and open with us as parents. The nursery seems to be a happy place - staff look happy to be there and the kids
always enjoying themselves. Transitions between rooms have been prepared for and managed well. We are thankful for the care he has received at Zeeba.

We warmly recommend LFF having sent two of our children to LFF locations. A unique setting in central London, LFF has given both our kids a lasting love of the outdoors and disregard for bad weather (rainy days just means better puddles and mud). Both our kids loved their time in the forest and always
came home with huge smiles. The staff are wonderful, and attentive (we love the monthly little updates we get with stories from the forest and what they have learned or been up to). The high ratio of staff to children means great attention to each individual child. We also like the mixing of age groups together - great for real world socialising skills and we found our two year old's vocabulary picking up really fast after starting.
Our favourite thing about the LFF concept is probably that it allows the children to learn and play in a natural and fun setting; the forest camps, exploration walks etc - fostering great independence, imagination and curiosity for the world around them.
Reply from Little ForestFolk, Admin at Little Forest Folk Putney HeathThank you very much for your wonderful and thoughtful review. It's been such a pleasure to have both your children as part of the Little Forest Folk family.
We're delighted to hear how much they've loved their time in the forest and that it has inspired such a lasting love of the outdoors - muddy puddles and all! Your kind words about our team, the small group sizes and the mixed-age environment mean a great deal, as these are all such important parts of how we support each child's development.
It's also lovely to hear that you've enjoyed the monthly updates and felt connected to your children's experiences and learning.
Thank you again for trusting us with your little ones early years and for your recommendation - it truly means the world to us!

Little forest folk in Wimbledon Village is such a special and unique nursery. Our son started off in a 'conventional' indoor nursery setting and we wish we had transferred him to this forest school setting much sooner. He absolutely loves it and it is so healthy for him to be in the great outdoors rather
than cooped up indoors in a small inner city nursery (which also has more germs!). We were initially worried about the Winter months but do not be deterred by the cold! As long as they are sufficiently dressed and layered and their extremities are kept warm, the children are perfectly comfortable and happy. The staff are also extremely knowledgeable and know what to do in more challenging conditions to ensure the warmth, health and safety of the kids.
The staff are really energetic with the children, creative and clearly passionate about nature. We are big fans of the team looking after our son! I also love that many of the staff members are male, as there are not enough male carers
Reply from Little ForestFolk, Admin at Little Forest Folk Wimbledon VillageThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review - we really appreciate it. We're absolutely delighted to hear how much your son has loved his time at Little Forest Folk Wimbledon Village and how positively the move to a forest school setting has been for him. It's lovely to know that being outdoors year-round has brought him so much joy and wellbeing, we're glad our team's experience and care helped put your minds at ease during the colder months. Your kind words about the energy, creativity and passion of the staff mean a great deal - we're especially pleased that you value the diversity of our team. I cannot thank LFF Morden enough for all that they have done for my son during his time there. We will be so sad to leave when it is his time to move up to big school in September!
He has absolutely thrived in the forest. It is a home away from home. All the teachers have truly got to know and understand
my son and I feel that they genuinely care for him.
Of course there are days when he is reluctant to leave mummy at the gate, but the vast majority of the time he bounds in, eager to see his friends, chat to his teachers and find out what exciting activity is in store for the day ahead!
Above other forest schools in the area, LFF Morden has the perfect blend of a cosy indoor space and a magical woodland garden, along with the access to the green spaces of cannon hill common for adventure walks, we have found this to be the perfect blend for our son for all seasons.
I whole heartedly recommend LFF Morden to anyone with young children.
Reply from Little ForestFolk, Admin at Little Forest Folk MordenThank you so much for your beautiful and thoughtful review. It has been an absolute joy to support your son during his time at Little Forest Folk Morden, we're so pleased to hear how much he has thrived in the forest and found a true home away from home with us! Knowing that he feels confident and excited to come in each day, eager to see his friends and teachers, means the world to our team. We're also delighted that the balance of cosy indoor space, our woodland garden and adventure walks on Cannon Hill Common has been such a perfect fit for him in all seasons. We will miss your family greatly when he moves on to big school in September, but we're so proud of everything he's achieved and grateful for your wholehearted recommendation. Our daughter has been attending Elm Park since she was 1, and we could not recommend it highly enough.
The new management who have taken over in the last year or so, led by Jenny, have done an absolutely fantastic job. It is apparent in everything they do how much they care about the children -
they are constantly coming up with creative new ideas for ways that everything from the facilities to the communication with parents can be improved, and it has resulted in a wonderful caring and nurturing environment for our daughter and her friends.
The huge garden is particularly special - in the warm months in particular they can spend huge amounts of time out there which is a fantastic perk.
She is currently in Lower School where she loves her teachers, in particular Donna, Jerony and Joanna, who go above and beyond wherever they can. She is excited to go to nursery every day, and we are delighted at how much she is enjoying herself as well as how much she is learning and developing.
