Completely gone down hill since the nursery was sold to bright stars manager has changed three times since they sold their safeguarding policies are not being met and all of the staff are leaving so there is no consistency anymore. No communication between stuff and parents and so many changes made
but not in favour of our children fees went up and they were cutting cost for things like food provisions during the day. My eldest daughter had been there for four years and it was such a lovely family film nursery when she started I removed my youngest to a different setting.

Our daughter has attended since she was 10 months old and I would not choose anywhere else for her care. The management are caring and know the children by name, the rooms are spacious and every one has looked after my daughter with warmth and understanding. The outdoor areas are incredible and I love
hearing the stories my toddler tells me from the forest and field. So so highly recommend, such a great environment and great people!

Wonderful nursery with the most amazing staff.
This nursery is a bit out of my way but I am so pleased I used my gut instinct and choose them for my child. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
My child's confidence has come on leaps and bounds since attending, really great setting with outdoor space too. Fairlands

We couldn't be happier with the care and education our two sons receive at Fairlands. From the very first day, the staff have been incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, making both our children feel safe and happy.
The activities are creative, engaging, and well thought out, and we're always impressed
by how much effort goes into planning them.
Communication with parents is excellent-we're kept well informed about our children's progress, daily activities, and milestones, which gives us real peace of mind. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about the children and take great pride in what they do.
We are extremely grateful for the love, support, and dedication shown to our boys every day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe and caring place for their child to thrive.

Fairlands is a wonderful day nursery. Both our boys have attended from 9 months old and have been so well supported and cared for at every stage. They have brilliant outdoor facilities including fields, playgrounds and woods which are used almost every day. The creativity and thought that goes in to
the classrooms and activities is so impressive. The thing that stands Fairlands apart is the incredible team; the patience and care from their key people, the meticulous planning by the room leaders and the constant hunger and drive of the management team to make every day at Fairlands a positive experience for every child.

I have had children at Daisy Chain for the last 4 years. Since being changed from an independent nursery to a large company-owned nursery it does not have a special wonderful feel. The staff are great and do a good job, my child has a good time (I think). Everything now feels very average, the manager
has changed 3 times since its takeover. I hope the nursery finds its feet again soon and gets back the magic it once had.

Feedback for Esther - Oak Tree Nursery
I would like to share my heartfelt thanks to Esther for the exceptional care she provides for my child at Oak Tree Nursery. She has consistently shown such warmth, patience, and dedication, making my child feel safe, valued, and happy every day.
One of the things
I appreciate most is Esther's attention to hygiene and cleanliness. She is very thorough in making sure the children wash their hands regularly, keep tidy after activities, and understand the importance of good personal care. It gives me great confidence to know that Esther maintains such high standards, helping to keep the children healthy and safe.
It is clear that she not only follows hygiene routines carefully but also teaches the children to develop these good habits themselves.
Alongside this, she provides a nurturing and supportive environment where my child feels secure, respected, and encouraged to learn and grow.
Thank you, Esther, for your commitment
Reply from Clare Luff, Nursery Manager at The Oak Tree Nursery & Pre SchoolThank you for your lovely review. We are very proud of Esther and what she is achieving with her team.

My less than 1 year old son has been in the care of the Little Acorns team for the last 4 months and I couldn't be happier with the team and the setting.
We've made the tough decision to move him to a more local Nursey as a spot has become available, but strongly considered keeping him at Oak Tree
due to how well he's settled in and developed, despite the longer commute.
We can't thank the team enough and would highly recommend!
Reply from The School, Nursery Manager at The Oak Tree Nursery & Pre SchoolThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review - I hope everything goes well in your new setting.

We really wanted to share our thanks & appreciation to the whole preschool team for taking such amazing care of our son. In particular his key person and the two Forest school leads have played such a huge part in helping our son grow and thrive. His confidence has really grown and seeing him at the
graduation first up with no hesitation was amazing.
The team did a fantastic job turning our sons fear of going to Forest school into being his favorite part! His key person has been such a nurturing support particularly when he started in preschool. They share a lovely bond which I know our son treasures.
I have and will continue to recommend Fairlands to anyone who asks. So a big thank you for making our sons early years such a special experience.
All the best to the whole Fairlands family

Fairlands Nursery has offered a childcare placement that is safe, nurturing and educational. My son has thrived having attended since 8 months old. The faculty ensures that the Nursery is well led and that where there are occasions that require specific attention (i.e. unexpected hospital admissions),
pertinent information is cascaded appropriately to ensure supportive provisions are catered for. The staff ensure that all attending children are well-looked after, encouraged and involved - and that this is facilitated in a personable manner. My daughter is due to attend next month - I would not want her to attend anywhere else! Thank you Fairlands!

Both of my sons(now aged 3 and 7) began at Fairlands from the age of 9 months. As any new mother leaving their children will understand, I didn't want to be apart from them- Fairlands made the transition so easy and with their regular updates and photos of what they were up to in the day it felt like
I was still with them which was such a comfort. With my youngest just about to start school, I am going to miss the team terribly. Their friendly faces and positive demeanor have been a constant moral boost when in the trenches of new parenthood! They were the first to spot slight challenges my eldest faced doing things that other children didn't have and were key in obtaining the right support for him when he was moving up to school so he didn't have to wait years before he got it. All staff are so kind, approachable and understanding and the attention and care they have shown my children has always assured me they have been in the most safest of hands. Top quality daycare!

Our daughter has settled in well at Oak Tree. Its a lovely, warm and welcoming environment. Its got great outside space that they use so well. Lovely to see the children spend so much time outside. She also particularly likes the Forest School and French classes. Would recommend.

The Oak Tree Nursery School has cared for our daughter since she was one, and we've been fairly pleased with the experience. The staff are friendly, professional, and always take time to speak with parents. The on-site chef is especially approachable and informative, and the freshly prepared meals are
a big plus. When the menu changed from a 10-week to a 3-week rotation, we were unsure at first-but it's led to our daughter enjoying more familiar meals she might have at home, on day trips, or in school lunchboxes. Although the nursery is busy and occasionally feels a bit hectic, the staff remain calm and supportive. Yes, the fees are on the higher side, but we truly see it as an investment in our child's future. The care and early development she's receiving here are giving her the best foundation for school and beyond.
Reply from Clare, Nursery Manager at The Oak Tree Nursery & Pre SchoolThank you for your detailed review. I will be certain to pass on your comments to our chef - he will be pleased!

Used to be an amazing nursery until Bright Stars bought it out. The warm friendly family feel has been lost along with the unique values and qualities they promised to strive to maintain. Changes from Bright stars have made the nursery feel like each child is a statistic to make money.

My daughter is at Daisy Chain but my 6 year old son also attended before he started school. Previously, Daisy Chain was a wonderful setting with caring, lovely staff. The quality of care was amazing, there was a waiting list to get in. Last year the setting was sold to a large nursery group and most
of the staff left with it. I wanted to give it a year to see how things would settle. I'm sad to say that Daisy Chain is a shadow of it's former self. What prompted me to write a review was the constant cost cutting that has been going on over the past couple of months. Fees have gone up and policies like being able to swap a bank holiday or swap a day within the week are now completely gone. They have also worked hard to cut down the food provision during the day, parents did protest this and it is still cut but not as much as they wanted. We have also heard anecdotally that the food quality has gone down too. We are so disappointed that this is how our once loved nursery setting has gone.

We have had an outstanding experience using Oak Tree. Our boys adore going there and the staff are so warm and welcoming. We are delighted with all of the different activities the children are immersed in, and the all-rounder skills they are learning. It is going to be great preparation for them
when they start at primary school! We highly recommend Oak Tree!
Reply from The School, Nursery Manager at The Oak Tree Nursery & Pre SchoolThank you for your lovely review. I am so pleased your children enjoy all our activities - our Forest School and French are so popular!
