Cliff House Nursery School offers excellent provision; amazing outdoor play; highly qualified, caring staff; a fun curriculum of rich play & learning opportunities; and, most importantly, a safe, nurturing environment.

Outdoors your child can choose to play safely on all weather ‘Saferturf’ playground or extensive garden. Equipped with Pirate Ship, sandpit, racing track, swings, herb garden and much more, the playground is fantastic fun all year round! Their outdoor space is truly unique!

Indoors each age group has their own area of the nursery, specifically designed and equipped to meet their needs. The children are supported by their key workers who are experienced, qualified nursery nurses. The children have the choice of a very wide range of toys, resources, craft materials and activities. Through play, each child is encouraged to try new activities, build friendships, be creative, play co-operatively, develop independence and express themselves with confidence.

I can honestly say Cliff House Nursery is an amazing nursery. My LG struggled throughout her time and both staff and management did everything they could to make her feel comfortable and supported her through some tough times. Hats off to them for all they do for all the children and the changes they
make to make each child's experience unique. Im proud that my little girl has graduated but also upset that she won't get to see and experience the wonderful staff longer.

My daughter started attending Cliff House Nursery from when we moved into the area and after a few weeks, we noticed tremendous positive changes in her. She was always eager and looking forward to attending. She had so much fun with learning and also with the outdoor activities. All the staff were very
helpful, from the manager, the head teacher and particularly one staff member whom my daughter took a special liking to. The manager went beyond school hours to make sure my daughter is settled and was always interested in her appointment and feedback.
My daughter is now is reception and we were sad to see her leave. If you need a pre-school that will provide genuine care and love for your children, I will gladly recommend Cliff House Nursery

My daughter has been attending Cliff House since 8 1/2 months, she turned 3 last month. She absolutely loves the nursery and the staff. My daughter settled right in on her taster days before attending full time. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating, always on hand to answer any questions you
may have and listen to any worries or concerns. My daughter talks about nursery all of the time at home and cannot wait to go. She has a great relationship with the staff which as a mother is so reassuring. She has developed so much and so quickly, the staff are amazing teachers and the best people to be assisting your child to develop throughout their early years. I’ve only ever had one very minor issue in the years my daughter has attended, which when flagged was resolved immediately and the staff were very responsive. Overall I’d recommend the nursery (and have done many times before) to my friends and relatives as I know the children are in the best hands.

Throughout the pandemic, my daughter attended Nursery. She was made to feel safe and welcome, and all the safety measures were implemented in a natural way. My daughter has been progressing in her confidence and in her ability to interact with those around her.

My daughter has attended Cliff House from 9 months old, she is now 4 and in Pre School. She absolutely loves Cliff House and all her teachers. I have always been very comfortable that she is looked after and educated very well. She learns something new every week and has great relationships with all
the nursery employees and made friends. It has been amazing to watch my daughter develop along her journey at Cliff House ready to take her big step in September to school. She has grown into a wonderful little girl and the team at Cliff House have made a big contribution to that. It will be a sad day when she leaves the nursery having been part of her life from a young age.

The change in both of my children since joining is unbelievable. Always polite and always have the best time. It’s obvious how much the nursery prides itself on its work. And they should, every single member of staff goes above and beyond.

My son has been going to this nursery for 2 years and in that time he has grown so much in confidence and his knowledge and development have rocketed and people are shocked when they find out my son is only 3 years old. I praise this nursery for how good they are at teaching, helping and caring for
children. I'd recommend this nursery to everyone and anyone. My son is a very active child and after a day at nursery, he is relaxed, content and excited to tell me about his day. The nursery staff are great at updating the parent portal app so I can see photos and evaluations of where and what my son gets up to. The nursery also goes beyond by celebrating birthdays and doing little tea parties with activities for the children.

I cannot praise enough how fantastic Cliff House nursery is! The warm, comforting feeling that the nursery gives off is what you want when you're looking for a safe, happy environment for your bundle of joy! The staff care and praise your child just as you would yourself, as well as providing you with
encouraging feedback on what your child achieves on their daily routines at nursery! I have used this nursery 3 times over and I would never have another alternative to Cliff House Nursery!

My son has been attending Cliff House Nursery since he was 10 months old (now almost 30 months). He settled in brilliantly, it’s very much a home from home environment and this is what I prefer rather than somewhere which looks flash but doesn’t deliver. Communication with staff is good and they’re
all friendly. I think in terms of management and how it’s run, it’s run well which is telling in the long success and good reputation. Many nurseries have a high owner and manager turnover and this is not the case. My little boy enjoys his days at nursery and his smile on his face tells me all I need to know.

Both of my children attend Cliff House and I can't recommend it enough, the staff are an absolute credit, so friendly and caring. When I take my little ones in they are almost running through the door because they have so much fun! They've come on in leaps and bounds whilst attending here, thank you

My child has been coming to this nursery coming up 1 year and it’s the best nursery I have placed her in. The staff are all lovely the manager is so nice. My child is 3 years old and since going to this nursery she really has come out of her shell she is so confident. She is always telling me she has
been playing, she been dancing. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone that asks. I know when I leave my daughter in their care she is well taken care of.

What a fantastic nursery this is. The staff are great and most staff have been there for many years. My son currently attends this nursery and has done for the last 12 months. They are very supportive of my son and help him achieve. The staff are very supportive to me too and liaise with me and offer
advice when I need it. I feel my son is safe, well-fed and supported by the staff at Cliff House Nursery.

All three of my children have attended this nursery, the staff are second to none and always go above and beyond. Each member of staff made sure they knew the children well and could tell when they were not right, which is great to know as a parent they care for them and it’s not just a job! They offer
many ways for the children to learn through play and make sure they meet the children’s learning styles in a safe, nurturing friendly and caring way. All my children have great memories of the nursery, my oldest being 10 and still speaks positively of this nursery. One child needed external support and the staff embraced this and worked closely with the agency, to get the best outcome for my child.
I can’t thank the manager and all her team enough for the amazing start they provided to my children, I will be truly thankful for the support and love you gave them all. I will always recommend them and tell the positive stories I have of the nursery.

I have had 2 children at this nursery one of them still being there and will be sad to leave in August. They have been brilliant and helped me a lot when been through tough times with my son having major surgery. They are a brilliant nursery have done their best in the whole pandemic situation. Thanks

Amazing nursery. My twins started in September 2020 and have had an amazing time ever since. They have been to different nurseries and used to cry and not want to go but Cliff House they are always eager to say bye when they go in and are always talking about 2 main members of staff. It’s amazing to
see how happy they are going to nursery and it comforts me knowing they are clearly very well cared for by the nursery team.

The staff have been brilliant during Covid and prior. My son loves going in and talks so positively about his day. He has been able to see his friends and been allowed some normality during these times while being kept safe. The staff always present happy and welcoming and have made these last 12 months
more bearable in an uncertain time, my son is 4 and will be very sad when he leaves for school later in the year. This is a great nursery and preschool even during covid he has attended his preschool group to support his transition to school. Would definitely recommend this nursery and the staff deserve a big thank you.

We first sent our son to Cliff House Nursery following the recommendation of family members who sent their 3 children there. We still viewed several nurseries but felt most comfortable with Cliff House. The work they have done with our son and then our daughter has been fantastic. Their development
has progressed fantastically well and we’re kept up-to-date every step of the way. The staff are amazing and we feel very comfortable leaving our children in their capable hands and will forever recommend them to anyone who asks. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, they’ve been amazing. They implemented new policies to help keep everyone safe and understood the difficulties that parents were having whilst helping as best they could. Can’t fault the nursery on anything and if we had another child, there’s nowhere else that they will be going.

Brilliant nursery 2 of my girls went here and my youngest is currently here and the staff are so kind and helpful the nursery is clean and my daughter loves it. She goes 3 days a week and has come on so well.
