Our daughters have attended this nursery since they were just 5 months old, and the positive impact it has had on their development has been incredible. Being in a social environment from such a young age has really helped them grow in confidence and form strong relationships with both staff and other
children.
The nursery provides a good balance of structure and routine, while still allowing plenty of time for fun, creativity, and messy play-which our girls absolutely love. The staff do a good job of encouraging good manners and positive behaviour in a way that is both supportive and consistent.
We've also found their support with key milestones, like potty training, to be invaluable.

My daughter started at Bananamoon Nursery almost a year ago, and I couldn't be happier with the progress she's made. Her development has been superb-she's hitting her milestones, and I've seen a big improvement in both her language and speech. She's grown into a very confident little girl. As a parent,
I feel completely reassured that all her needs are being met. The staff are warm, kind, and genuinely caring, always bringing a positive attitude. They're also very flexible and make a real effort to work with parents, keeping us involved in every decision about our child. I really appreciate how open they are to feedback and how willing they are to support both me and my daughter. Overall, it's a truly lovely nursery.

We are extremely happy to have chosen Banana Moon nursery for our little one ,we had a great feeling after visiting it and we weren't wrong!
Our son is thriving even more since he started nursery and he is always happy to go to nursery,witch means he is enjoying the time that he spends there and we
know that he is well looked after and stimulated with different activity ,he is surrounded by great staff and there isn't anything better then been with other children.
We very often say how happy we are with Banana Moon, from day one, and even more now, after a year ! Thank you from the bottom of our hurts to all the amazing staff, it's not an easy step sending your child to nursery but they made sure the transition was fun and gave us an immense joy seeing how much our son loves going to Banana Moon. One more thing : the food that they provide is fantastic, freshly prepared there . You are all AMAZING :)

Both my children have attended Banana Moon nursery in Sheffield, and my second one, who is 2, is still there and will stay until they go to primary school.
The staff at nursery are and have alway been absolutely amazing at supporting us and our children, who love and loved it there. The staff team
are like our extended family, we could not make it without them. They are loving, caring, supportive and always there for the good and bad times, to help us through.
They take great care in educating and engaging our children, through excellent educational and play activities.
They cook the food in house, and they go above and beyond for the children and parents.
I could not recommend them more.

Banana Moon are a very caring group of kind and enthusiastic people who have bonded very well with our child. From the "baby moons" (6 month to 2 years) where our child was given security and a safe space to exercise his initial ability to manage without us and he flourished. He graduated to "mini moons"
(2-3 years) and not only enjoys his days but actively asked to go to nursery on days he's not there.


The activities and ratio of carer to child is generally good and the food is exceptional.


Overall we feel comfortable that our child is safe, learning, developing new skills, well nourished and most important, having fun!

Both of my boys attend Banana Moon Day Nursery - my eldest for 2 years and my youngest for 1 year. My eldest has special needs and is on the autism spectrum, and I'm truly amazed by the dedication of the staff who support him daily.
Since the management changed and Rukhsar, now the SENCO lead, took
over, my son is finally receiving the care he needs. I'm so proud his EHCP was accepted thanks to her hard work. I also really appreciate the director, Murtaza, for his ongoing support and leadership.
A huge thank you to Umaira, his key worker, who is amazing and always on it with 1:1 support. She is caring, attentive, and understands his needs so well. Also thank you to Shakeela, Yasmine, and the rest of the team.
My eldest is much happier, and the nursery provides a safe, supportive environment. My youngest has grown so much - his confidence has come on, his speech has improved, he's learning new words daily, and his social skills and independence are developing really well. Thank you all!

We have been absolutely delighted with our daughter's time at Banana Moon. From day one, the staff have made her feel so safe and loved - she genuinely looks forward to going each day.


The team all know her as an individual and the standard of care is consistently high. Communication with parents

is great too - we always feel kept in the loop.


Our daughter is absolutely thriving - the activities are engaging and purposeful, and the food is healthy and varied. As parents it's exactly what you'd hope for.


We'd recommend Banana Moon without hesitation.

The Nursery have been amazing my Daughter has been there for 2 years and will sadly be leaving for school this year. I cannot fault the Nursery from the Management team to the lovely room staff who strive every session to make it a great and happy learning experience for my girly. Love you guys

My son has been attending this nursery for a little over a year now, and overall our experience has been positive. It's a good, satisfactory environment where he feels comfortable and happy. The staff members are friendly, approachable and always willing to help if needed.
It's reassuring to see that
he enjoys his time there and has settled in well. So far things have been going well and we are pleased with how everything is progressing.

My son moved nurseries back in October 2025 as we moved into the area. The nursery team are absolutely brilliant with my son, right from when we viewed the nursery till now. It was a hard transition adjusting to a different nursery, new house and a new addition to the family. I love how Gemma arranges
all these stay and plays every so often, which is a nice way of getting parents involved.
I think the food menu is great! My sons previous nursery would give the kids the same snacks everyday and whereas banana moon provide a variety of snacks.
Everyone is so friendly at the nursery! I would recommend this nursery to anyone looking for excellent teaching, care and service.

Our son had a wobbly start to childcare with a bad experience of a childminder - I mention this only because I was trying to work out if we sold the house if I could afford to quit my job (we can't!). I really didn't want to leave him again ever, so I was on high alert with nurseries.


Banana Moon had

a space last minute after Christmas so I read all the reviews I could find and on the tour the atmosphere was nice so I felt a bit better, but now he's started I know it's great! The ladies in the Baby Moons room are all amazing, so patient and they knew him really well within two weeks. I'm so happy with the progress in speech and understanding that he's made since starting and I can see from the frequent updates and watching them interact with him before I go into the room how much they care for him.


Special shout out for the food, I have to pick him up after mealtimes because he cries if he misses out!

The staff at this nursery are wonderful and take huge care of the children and invest the time to really get to know them individually.
My son has been at Banana Moon Harbury for just over 6 months and really enjoys going in each day. It is very clear he is provided with a wide range of healthy food
to try! The staff are also very good at getting the children outdoors in the fresh air as much as possible (weather permitting).
Management are prompt and very proactive in their communication style which really helps busy, working parents. They always attempt to be flexible where possible and consistently approach questions from a place of care and understanding. This was something that was highlighted when I looked round the nursery and it is very clear that they live by this ethos. They also do not put too much pressure on parents my minimising the number of stay and plays, fancy dress occasions and other extra curricular activities which avoids added stress.
