Very pleased with the pastoral care here and the excellent communication. Knowing my child is happy, content, and well looked after is so reassuring. I've seen staff go above and beyond to help settle the children, which truly puts my mind at ease.
I also love the app used to update us on our child's
day, it's wonderful to see what she's been up to and feel so connected. My 2yr old often comes home telling me she had a fun and happy day at nursery, which is always so sweet to hear.
Keep up the great work. One very happy mummy.

We've been there for five months now, in the toddler room and it's as good as it was when our eldest child was there a few years ago, a very happy place. It was an easy transition to school for big brother, he was well prepared.

Staff at the nursery is attentive and friendly. Seeing senior staff members being part of day to day is very reassuring and shows the care throughout the establishment. Nursery offers variety of rooms for different aged children with plenty of activities in each. Food offered is healthy and has a wide
range. Overall, great nursery.

Our little girl attends Banana Moon Stoke Poges which is her first experience in a nursery setting as well as ours especially for her being the youngest from her siblings. The staff have been amazing and have been giving us the continuous support in order for our little girl to thrive and have the best
time there. At first it took her longer to settle in but with the support from all the staff in the baby room and the management team. I'm very pleased to get all the updates via the app and then wait eagerly for the daily diary updates for what our little girl has been up to so we can share it with her Grandparents.
Thank you so much for looking after her.

My son has attended Banana Moon for the past 8 months, from the beginning the staff have been very caring, helpful and supportive of his additional needs. He needed a lot of support settling into nursery and the staff did a great job at helping him through the process. I have seen a lot of development
in him since being at nursery and the staff update me regularly on his progress.

This is a fantastic nursery! The staff are wonderful with the children. My son started nursery when he was 9 months old. The settling period lasted for 2 weeks, which is longer than any other nursery in the area. This helped my son settle really well. He is excited to go to nursery every morning and
is very close to all the team members he interacts with. We never have to worry for him because we know he is so well taken care of. The food is great-diverse, balanced and delicious. Thanks to all the team members for their hard work, dedication and patience!

The Banana Moon staff are extremely caring and kind towards the children. In particular, the two members of staff in the Mini Moons Room have been amazing! My daughter loves nursery and doesn't want to go home after her session. There always seem to be activities going on with good learning opportunities,
e.g. learning through reading books/are/etc.

The staff are what makes Banana Moon Day Nursery a great nursery! My child has enjoyed his time here and will be sad to leave when he starts school. The staff are always helpful and open.
The communal dining hall, tech room and fun outdoor space are great assets not to forget the freshly cooked food.

So happy with my decision to send my son to Banana Moon. The staff have been so friendly and comforting during his settling period. He’s only been going to nursery for a few weeks and I can already see him flourishing. His speech, colours, numbers and general play has improved. The staff in the Toddler
room, my son's key worker, nursery manager and deputy manager have all been so welcoming, patient and kind to both myself and my son. Sending my son to nursery was very daunting and they've helped make the experience as easy as possible. I would highly recommend!

I chose Banana Moon Day Nursery for my daughter as I was really impressed with all that they offer and I am so glad I chose this nursery as my daughter is thriving here! The staff are wonderful and really helped comfort her when she was settling in and since then she has learned so much and becomes
more independent each day! I feel confident in leaving my daughter here, knowing that she will be well looked after and have a great time whilst learning through play. She really enjoys going to nursery and always speaks about nursery at home. Everyone at the nursery is always so welcoming, supportive and caring, they will always listen and help/advise where they can. I cannot fault the level of care that they provide! I would highly recommend this nursery!

It's very important to feel 100% comfortable with any environment in which you leave your child and that's how I feel about this nursery. Two members of staff, in particular, have made not just my daughter's experience so positive but mine too as I can go to work and not have to worry about her. So,
while it might not be cheap, you can't put a price on that.
You do get a tangible return on the fees too. Spanish lessons, a chance to see and handle real animals, arts, crafts - paper and digital - exercise, a great garden and a much more diverse menu than she'd get at home.
The place is always super-clean and I had no doubt this was still the case in months during Covid where parents were not permitted to enter.
We have less than a year left there but I'd put my child in again in a heartbeat.

Banana Moon Stoke Poges is the most excellent nursery in the area. My little girl loved it for the 3 years she was there and now my little boy has just started at the age of one. I cannot fault them and led by the manager (you will not meet a nursery manager like her), the team excels in all areas.
They have made me feel so comfortable and settled us both in! The opportunities are amazing from wild fangs to the sensory room.

Current Review Score: 9.4 (9.359)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.4 (9.359) out of 10 for Banana Moon Day Nursery Stoke Poges is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 13 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 13 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.769 for Banana Moon Day Nursery Stoke Poges is calculated as follows: ( (121 Excellents x 5) + (34 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 156 Ratings = 4.769
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.59 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Banana Moon Day Nursery Stoke Poges is based on 13 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.825
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 85 number of registered child places is 17. 13 Positive Reviews ÷ 17 = 0.765
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
