Banana Moon Day Nursery Wimbledon

Last, we get daily updates on the nursery app and as a parent this is reassuring to see how the kids interacts with each other, and see their daily progresses.

They provide useful recommendations on things like adjusting his nap time, at the end of each day they offer interesting observations around how he's processing the world around him, and overall Banana Moon have provided the best care and support throughout.

We would highly recommend Banana Moon! Our eldest daughter joined in February 2023 and our youngest daughter in March 2025 and they have both been so happy there. The staff are amazing. Both our girls have formed lovely bonds with all the team. Everyone is kind, caring & supportive. Even if the girls are feeling a little clingy one day, they are always happy to go to the staff for a cuddle (or some toast!). A great deal of thought and planning goes into the activities. The girls play outside in all weathers which was important to us, jumping in puddles in the Winter and splashing in water to keep them cool in Summer. We receive updates in the app including lots of photos, which we love! The team actively ask for feedback & implement anything they can to make improvements - we've seen that in practice over the last few years. The development we have seen in our girls during their time at Banana Moon continues to surprise us in the best way. We are so grateful to all the team!

We absolutely love Banana Moon and could not recommend it more highly! 10/10! The nursery workers are so incredibly kind, caring and attentive - so much thought goes into the curriculum and activities! The kids at Banana Moon get an amazing balance of outdoor and indoor play; we love how dedicated the Banana Moon team are to all of the kids and their development. Our daughter loves it so much and has built a special bond all of the staff - she sprints in every morning, and leaves every day beaming! Her development has improved so much since she started at Banana Moon; every day she comes home with a new trick / skill! We're so pleased we discovered this special team and nursery!

I could not recommend Banana Moon more, the staff are so friendly and my child runs in there every day. The menu each week is varied for their food, the activities are wonderfully structured and they think of everything (from learning to wash hands to describing emotions via colours). The app is kept up to date and they respond to messages within minutes, so I am always informed. This nursery is an amazing place and my daughter runs in everyday without a backwards glance to me!

My child absolutely loves Banana Moon Nursery, he has lots of space to run around and spends a lot of time outside. Through the multiple photo updates I get throughout the day, I can tell he is having a great time doing various activities. The food is great and he always goes in and comes home with a big smile on his face! Thank you for making it so easy for us parents!

My child gets on so well in the baby room, the staff are so caring and attentive. The children have lots of outside time and do all sorts of activities throughout the day. I would really recommend Banana Moon Day Nursery, their communication is great and the updates throughout the day are fun too.

My daughter has been with Banana Moon Day Nursery Wimbledon since August 2021. She has had a fantastic time there and bonded closely with her carers and many of the children. I really feel she has been part of a family away from home over the last few years and when she went through some of the challenging phases that toddlers go through, they were really great. I cannot recommend them highly enough and I am very sad that she will finish in a few weeks for school. It has been a great and enjoyable three years for us.

A very welcoming nursery, concerned with children's well-being and development. We joined Banana Moon Day Nursery one year ago and I am happy with the care, the quality of meals and the development my child is having.

All the staff at Banana Moon Day Nursery are absolutely wonderful, especially our daughter's key person. We could see how much our daughter was enjoying her time at Banana Moon, developing close bonds with all her peers and members of staff. She was truly thriving and so happy there. Unfortunately, the only issue we had was with a policy where she wasn't allowed to return after a two-week holiday as Banana Moon was expecting to have their fees paid in full during this time. We felt it was a real shame to have to move her to another nursery with no flexibility on the fees from Banana Moon, even though we would have been happy to pay a contribution to the running costs over her two-week absence. She will miss all her friends and we are sad she isn't allowed to come back.

My daughter has been at nursery since she was 13 months old and is leaving this week to go to school. My daughter was given great care and support during her time and grew in confidence and knowledge in so many things. She formed lovely friendships and her personality shone. The teachers were kind and caring and very supportive of her development and also answered any questions or concerns I have had. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Banana Moon in Wimbledon is a great nursery and we are very happy with our child's care and development. My son has been there since he was 18 months and has always been eager to go to nursery each day. He learnt a lot throughout various activities and all the staff is very friendly, supportive and paying attention to children's needs. I highly recommend Banana Moon!

My daughter has been at Banana Moon Nursery for the past 2 years since she was 11 months old. She has been very happy in all three rooms and the team is excellent, giving her stability, challenging her and giving us, as parents, complete peace of mind. She has really strong relationships with her key worker and other members of the team. The food is varied and prepared freshly.

I couldn't have been happier with Banana Moon in Wimbledon. Having experienced a nursery previously to this one where I thought the level of care was fine when I saw the level of care at Banana Moon I realised how poor the previous nursery was. I was blown away by the level of care shown to my child and all children at Banana Moon. The staff are fantastic and I'm so sad to be saying goodbye as my child moves into reception. I couldn't recommend it more highly. The mums/parents were so welcoming and warm also, it holds very happy memories for us.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. My child has settled in straight away. Good facilities, good selection of food which always smells wonderful.

Since my 11th-month old son started nursery here in January 2022, he has not cried a single day going in. The team are absolutely fantastic. They are caring, playful and they listen to you as a parent and I honestly trust that they do everything in my son's best interest. He just wholeheartedly loves going to nursery which is the most amazing and reassuring thing for us as parents. He loves the food, the activities and does a fantastic job of napping too. The artwork that comes home has a special place on our wall and he's always ready for a good nights sleep! The team has also supported us using reusable nappies which we are really grateful for. One member of staff is fantastic.

Both my son and daughter have attended Banana Moon since they were 12-months-old. The staff are supportive and very caring across the nursery. The nursery itself is well equipped, clean, well presented and caters for all the children's needs. The recording of the children's learning and development is excellent. The range of activities is also excellent. The quality and range of the food are really great. The staff go the extra mile to care for my children in a wonderful environment created by the entire nursery team.

To all parents, I have had my three children successfully attending Banana Moon Day Nursery Wimbledon from the baby room to the full moon room and I must say I was delighted. Lots of game everyday, caring and lovely staff, varied food and good reporting on the app. Very flexible and responsive direction especially in this very challenging Covid-19 time. I would recommend this nursery with closed eyes.
