Banana Moon Day Nursery Wimbledon

I feel privileged to be the Director of a beautiful nursery.

Banana Moon Wimbledon is a place that children can feel confident to express themselves, develop their personality, make friends and learn to be independent and happy.

Banana Moon Wimbledon was opened in September 2014.
Our biggest challenge was to create a quality team. We now have a qualified and experienced team, that makes the nursery a great place to be.
We provide constant training and updates to our team to support them to be the best as they possibly can.

Children learn through play, we provide a safe environment with stimulating and inviting activities that cover all areas of learning.

I have been working in childcare since 2012.

I have my level 3 in childcare alongside level 4 in playwork practice, level 4 in Early childhood studies, a levels 3 and 5 in management.

I started my role here as a nursery assistant, then a nursery nurse, then promoted to room leader in Preschool and then to deputy manager and now manager.

Children are my passion, I feel pride in helping them develop and build their character.

I have always worked in childcare, I started as unqualified and completed my level 3 in Early Years, I was then promoted to room leader of the under 2's.

This is my preferred age group, I love witnessing and supporting children learning new words, I enjoy reading stories to them.

I'd like to complete more courses in childcare and work my way up the ladder.

I have been working in childcare since 2017, I was a nursery assistant at another nursery and joined Banana Moon in 2018.

I started as a volunteer then I was employed as a nursery assistant while I was studying for my level 2 in childcare to become a nursery nurse. I was offered a position and I completed my level 3 in childcare.

I enjoy spending time with children and have fun making lots of new memories with them, my preferred age to work with is my current room of 16 months - 2 and a half years.

I'm Bulgarian, I have a son and I like to travel.

I have been with Banana Moon since 2023.

I started as a volunteer whilst completing my level 2 in childcare and I was offered a position here. I will begin my level 3 shortly.

I am interested in child development and in the future, I'd like to work in SEN (special educational needs).

I'm Columbian and I have a daughter.

I started as a volunteer in 2023, then enrolled on my level 3 and accepted a position here.

I love to work with babies, building strong bonds with the children and families, and helping them learn to explore.

I am very creative, I love messy/sensory play and making crafts.

I speak Spanish and I sometimes sing nursery rhymes to the children and say some keywords, this helps some of our Spanish speaking children.

I'm Brazilian and have always enjoyed working with children, in Brazil I was a teaching assistant and then an Au pair when I first moved to London.

I have been working with Banana Moon since 2024.

I previously studied Psychology and play therapy.

I love working with the Toddler age, helping them learn to share and take turns and supporting their language development.

I have always worked with children, I worked in another nursery prior to Banana Moon, I have been here since 2023.

I bring energy to whichever room I work in.
I have a passion for children, I love working with preschool children, helping them learn about the world around them, encouraging them to ask questions.

I like being a part of taking the children on outings.

My name is Fareya but I like to be known as Ria.

I have been here since 2022, I am enrolled on Level 3 in Early Years.
I love working with preschool children, I like teaching them mindfulness.

I previously studied psychology I have an interest in neurological development and I am an advocate for Mental health.
