Banana Moon Day Nursery Barnstaple

My daughter attends here and is very happy here. She always come home and enjoys telling me about all the amazing things that she has done. The food they provide is also of an amazing variety. I would recommend it to anyone!

We have used Banana Moon for the last 5 years for both our little boys. From the moment we first viewed the nursery, we knew it felt like the best place for our children and we were so right. All the staff have been warm and nurturing towards both our children over the years and even on tough drop off days we felt reassured they would always be ok. Both our children have loved their time at Banana Moon and we are so sad to be saying goodbye. We recommend Banana Moon to everyone we speak to looking for childcare and will continue to do so. My 2 year old son has attended Banana Moon Barnstaple since he was 6 months old. We have been incredibly impressed with the care that has been provided. The activities are engaging, the meals are nutritious and staff can never do too much. Any questions I have had have been answered quickly. Highly recommend.

Wonderful nursery with lively, loving staff who make every day fun for the children. Really sad to be leaving, but we do so knowing we gave our daughter the best start possible for her school journey.

An excellent nursery with really caring staff. My children are very happy at Banana Moon Day Nursery. We particularly enjoy the extra activities and outings that my son gets to partake in, e.g. visiting the museum. I also appreciate the detailed daily updates. Our daughter has attended Banana Moon Day Nursery Barnstaple for the past 2.5years and we have nothing but praise. She has thrived at nursery, all thanks to the wonderful care of the staff! Our daughter always speaks fondly of the staff, activities, food and trips and has always enjoyed going to nursery, which for us as parents has been so important! Our second daughter is now also attending and it's been reassuring to know both girls are attending a setting where they are happy and safe!

I really couldn't pick a better Nursery for my two boys. I have a mental health disorder and all the staff members are so understanding and helpful when I'm having a bad day with the boys and they are always willing to help and give advice when I have any questions on how to meet my son's emotional needs. Both my boys love going and have made so many friends there and more than happy being left with them. I would recommend them to anyone who asks. All the staff meet the boys' emotional needs very well and give me updates about their day. I really can't praise them enough with all the work they've done for my boys and help with me. They are really truly amazing.

My daughter has been at Banana Moon for two years now, and my son for six months. Throughout this time I and my children have felt supported, welcome and valued. The staff are unfailingly warm, positive and friendly, and both children are always happy to arrive in their care. The communication we receive via the app is useful and timely, and responses through email are always done quickly and worded efficiently and with warmth. I always feel confident that my children are safe and happy when they are at nursery, and I will be sad when the time comes to say goodbye as they move on to school. I cannot recommend them enough, and am so grateful for the care my children receive.

We have been nothing short of impressed with the team at Banana Moon Day Nursery ever since our child started. They have quickly noticed delays that he has and acted in his best interests straight away in getting him the help he needs. The environment they have created there makes our son get so excited to go every day and his development has progressed because of this. It's like dropping him off to a family member and he is quite happy to see us leave. Closes the door on us! There will be tears from all sides on his last day before starting school that's for sure. My son has very complex needs and severe disabilities so I was extremely anxious and reluctant to send him to any nursery. I visited a few and then came across Banana Moon Day Nursery and we decided to give it a go. This was nearly two years ago now and I am so glad I did. This nursery is absolutely amazing and every member of staff gives their all to the children. They get to know their individual needs and make sure they are met at all times. The security of this nursery is so high as well, there is a no phones policy, cameras in every room and a fingerprint access system. My son has thrived and they have prepared him to start his specialist school in September. My daughter now also attends and has done for six months, her confidence has rocketed and she is so happy to go. Staff give you a thorough, verbal, daily report and as a parent, you have access to an amazing app that tracks everything through the day with pictures of your child having fun. Could not recommend this nursery enough!

It wasn't an easy choice for us to pick the right nursery setting for our boy but we haven't looked back. The staff make the nursery what it is. They are caring, engaging and considerate. The nursery itself is spacious and I love the areas clearly split by age groups. The outdoor space is beautiful and I love that the kids get so much time outside. A huge bonus for this nursery is its excellent chef and ability to provide hot nutritious food every day! Best decision we ever made to put our boy here.

The staff are so caring and attentive and always update us about what they’ve been up to and how she’s been throughout the day. They’ve really got to know my daughter and nothing is too much trouble. There is always a wide variety of activities and they’re always trying and learning new things. We can also thank Banana Moon for getting our fussy eater to like (some!) vegetables! We’re so glad we decided to send our daughter here and are really grateful to all the staff for making her experience so positive.

Banana Moon is perfect for our little girl, she is always happy on drop off and smiling on pick up. I feel she is well cared for and her needs/development are met she’s coming on leaps and bounds. It’s great we can access the app to see photos and it’s nice we can share home observations too with key staff. Thank you Banana Moon for helping our little girl shine as bright as she can.

A fantastic nursery that our little boy enjoyed going to every day. Our son had to be referred to nursery plus and the team at Banana Moon were amazing in helping him to progress with extra activities to keep him on track. My son has since left Banana Moon to start school and we are so grateful to the staff for their efforts in preparing him for the transition.

Very happy with the care given to my daughter she has now settled and is very happy there and is always telling me what she has been doing. The nursery has got some lovely new resources! Also love the parent app they use to see pictures and everything that they have been doing, this is great as I don't always have the chance to visit the nursery at pickups and collections due to my partner doing this.
