We have had a fantastic experience at Banana Moon. All staff have been more than accommodating with any requests or questions. The team are really approachable and open with great communication. The menus are great and my son always eats so well including things we wouldn't necessarily have thought to try at home with him. Our son has built some really great relationships with his teachers. We are always amazed at how much he is learning and taking in while at nursery.

Our daughter has been at the nursery for three years (shortly moving on to school) and our son has attended for a year and a half. They love the nursery. They have a great time, eat well, do lots of activities and spend plenty of time outside. The staff are friendly, helpful, give us lots of updates on both their progress and we have always been very happy with them.

My children have been attending Banana Moon since 2023 and have gained such confidence in their social, literacy and numeracy skills. The home/nursery communication is open and honest and the staff show such care towards the children. My children love their sessions and even want to continue to attend the holiday club when they leave which is a real testament to the staff and setting.

My experience with Banana Moon has been mixed. The staff were generally kind to my son and he loved attending. There were concerns about how his behaviour was described and comments I felt were racially insensitive however, I raised these politely, remained respectful and repeatedly chose to let them go to maintain a positive relationship. My biggest concerns were with the administration. Despite being honest and transparent during financial hardship, I felt unsupported and was twice accused in writing of being dishonest. I also received emails I experienced as hostile and, after being threatened with my children's places being withdrawn, felt my concerns were dismissed. As a Black family, these experiences left me feeling we were treated differently. As a full-time working single mother and social worker, I asked only for understanding, not special treatment. I once recommended this nursery, but based on my experience, I no longer can.

Anyone parent who isn't sure about sending their little one to nursery I would 10/10 recommend Banana Moon! I feel so at ease leaving my little one there whilst I work, the staff are amazing and the environment is so comforting.

The nursery provides such a warm and stimulating environment, with fantastic toys, a lovely outdoor garden, nutritious meals, engaging daily activities, excellent communication with parents, and detailed updates that always give me peace of mind. Thank you for making such a positive difference to our lives. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

My daughter loves Banana Moon and has had the best first year at nursery. The staff are so loving and caring towards the children, and my daughter is so happy to be dropped off. They know her so well and help encourage and track her development. She loves the food too!

This nursery has been the best decision for our son- the girls here are amazing- they genuinely care about my son & myself, when he was in hospital/unwell they checked in & have genuine concern for his welfare, this nursery has gone above & beyond what I thought. I can honestly say I'll be sad when he leaves in the future.

Amazing Nursery know my child better than me at times highly recommend any family to choose Banana Moon! Food is great and cater to all dietary needs of children. Always keep parents updated on how children are doing and we couldn't ask for more.

I couldn't recommend this nursery more highly. My child has only recently just started there and loves her time there. The updates throughout the day are fantastic and they provide a variety of activities to keep them entertained and learning. The staff are fantastic and always seem like they look forward to my child coming into nursery which is great.

We couldn't be happier with the nursery and the care our sons have received there. From day one, the staff have been incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's happiness and development. Our boys have absolutely loved their time there and always come home smiling, talking excitedly about their day. The environment is welcoming, nurturing, and full of engaging activities that have helped them grow in confidence and independence. Knowing they were safe, supported, and truly cared for gave us complete peace of mind. Our daughter joined the nursery at the beginning of January. She settled within a couple of weeks thanks to the amazing staff at banana moon. She really seems to be enjoying herself as the team keep her busy with lots of different activities.

The variety of activities offered is impressive. From arts and crafts to storytime, music, and even outdoor play, there is always something happening. I appreciate how the nursery fosters both creativity and learning through structured activities, as well as plenty of free playtime. They also incorporate early learning concepts like colors, numbers, and shapes in a fun, interactive way. It's clear that the staff puts a lot of effort into planning these activities to help the children develop both socially and academically. I would recommend this nursery to parents

Banana moon are very innovative and creative when it comes to the activities for the children. They take safeguarding very seriously and their communication is the right balance- you're not bombarded with message after message but equally you are well informed. I love my child's keyworker and other staff there. They care and with nursery fees high everywhere it's nice to feel like a person and family and not just a number in the books. The location could be better but generally it's a great nursery.

Our daughter has been at Banana Moon since she was 9 months old. All the staff have been absolutely amazing, they helped her settle well and are very accommodating to all the children's needs. It's a pleasure to see the little updates on our app each day, with all the pictures of the activities and fun they have had. Absolutely amazing and definitely would recommend.

My little one truly enjoys this nursery. Since she started attending five days a week, her development has been remarkable. The practitioners are incredibly friendly, supportive, and always ready to help, creating a warm and positive environment.

They give a good report at the end of the day to let you know what they've been up to and how they've eaten and this is also updated on the parent app too, which is nice as it's very rare you get any major information from her!
