With 22 years experience in the early years sector, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for nurturing young minds. Holding level 2 and level 3 qualifications in childcare and education, a level 4 in childcare learning and development, and a PDA in childhood practises, I am well equipped to lead a newly opened nursery with expertise and dedication. I take great pride in guiding and supporting new staff, helping them grow into the best versions of themselves through mentorship and professional development. Building strong, trusting relationships with children and families is at the heart of my approach, ensuring that every child feels valued and supported in their learning journey. My leadership is rooted in fostering an environment that promotes both staff and child wellbeing, creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all.

With 24 years of experience working with children, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a diverse skillset to my role as a room leader in a newly opened nursery. Holding an SSCYP level 7 qualification, I am committed to providing the highest standard of care and early education. In addition to my extensive childcare experience, I am a trained gymnastics coach, and I am excited to incorporate movement and physical development into the nursery’s activities. I am passionate about fostering a positive, engaging, and supportive environment for both children and staff, helping to create strong foundations for each child’s growth and learning. My approach focuses on building meaningful relationships, promoting confidence, and ensuring every child feels valued and empowered.

With 5 years of experience in the early years sector and holding an SSCYP level 7 qualification, I am a dedicated room leader committed to providing exceptional care and education in a newly opened nursery. I am passionate about creating a welcoming and stimulating environment where children can thrive, learn, and grow. My experience has equipped me with a strong understanding of child development, alongside the skills to support children’s individual needs and encourage their curiosity. As a room leader, I take pride in guiding and supporting my team while fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. I am focused on establishing a nurturing foundation that ensures every child’s future success.

I am excited to embark on my new role as an Early Years Practitioner, bringing a fresh perspective and a strong commitment to making a positive impact on young children's development. Although I am new to the early years sector, I am eager to complete my SSCYP qualification and have already completed extensive training relevant to my role. This training has provided me with valuable insights into child development, creating a stimulating environment, and supporting children’s individual needs. I am passionate about fostering a nurturing and engaging atmosphere where children can grow, explore, and learn, and I look forward to contributing to the success of the nursery while continuing my professional development.

As an Early Years Practitioner, I bring valuable experience in supporting children with complex needs, gained during my placement while completing an HNC in Social Services. This experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of how to provide tailored support and care, ensuring every child receives the individual attention they need to thrive. I am passionate about fostering an inclusive environment where all children, regardless of their background or needs, can flourish. With a strong foundation in social services and a dedication to ongoing professional development, I am excited to continue making a positive impact in the early years sector while contributing to the nurturing and development of every child in my care.

With a degree in music and two years of experience delivering music lessons to children, Ellie is excited to bring her passion and expertise to our nursery. This is her first role within a nursery setting, and she is eager to create a fun, engaging, and educational environment through music. Her background in teaching children will allow her to introduce age-appropriate musical activities that will not only stimulate creativity but also support language development, motor skills, and emotional expression in our little ones. We’re thrilled to have her on board and look forward to seeing the positive impact her musical skills will bring to our community.

Becky joins our team as an Early Year's Practitioner, bringing with her an impressive 8 years of experience in early years settings. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep understanding of child development and is passionate about creating warm, nurturing environments where children feel safe, valued, and supported to grow.

Her calm, friendly nature and hands-on experience make her a fantastic addition to our team. Becky is especially skilled in supporting child-led play and building strong, trusting relationships with both children and families.

We’re so excited to welcome Eden to our team as a relief member of staff! Eden brings with her an incredibly valuable background—she has just completed her third year studying Social Work at Robert Gordon University.

With 16 years of experience working with children, I am a dedicated and passionate room leader ready to make a positive impact in a newly opened nursery. I hold a level 2 in childcare and education, along with a level 7 in SSCYP, which has equipped me with both practical skills and in depth knowledge to support children's development effectively. I am committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment where each child can thrive. I focus on fostering strong relationships with children, families and my team, ensuring high standards of care and promoting each child’s individual learning journey.

As a mum herself, Liana understands just how emotional and overwhelming it can be to leave your little ones - especially in those early days. Her empathy and insight into attachment and transitions will be such a comfort to both our children and their families.

Mackenzie has recently joined our team as a young and enthusiastic employee, bringing with her a genuine passion for learning from others and building on her existing babysitting experience. She has quickly become a valued member of the nursery, already showing herself to be extremely efficient, hardworking, and dedicated to supporting the children in our care. We are excited to see Mackenzie continue to grow and flourish in her role.

Rhea has joined our team as a fully qualified practitioner, bringing with her several years of valuable experience from another early years setting. She is a fantastic role model to our less experienced staff, offering guidance and support with her knowledge and practice. Rhea has a naturally warm and caring approach with the children, helping them to feel safe, happy, and engaged in their learning. We are delighted to have her as part of our team.

Kayleigh is currently working towards her SSCYP Level 7 qualification and is already making a wonderful contribution to our team. She brings lots of fun and energy to the nursery, creating engaging experiences that the children love. Kayleigh’s enthusiasm and commitment to her studies shine through in her practice, and we are excited to support her as she continues her learning journey with us.

Zara is a fully qualified practitioner who brings with her extensive knowledge in child protection and safeguarding. In her previous role, she gained valuable experience as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), which has given her a strong foundation in supporting children’s safety and wellbeing. Zara’s expertise, alongside her caring and approachable nature, makes her a reassuring presence for both children and families. We are very fortunate to have her as part of our team.

Kate has recently joined our relief pool and brings with her a wealth of experience from raising her own four children. This invaluable knowledge gives her a natural understanding of children’s needs and how best to support them. Kate’s caring approach and flexibility make her a fantastic addition to our team, and she is already proving to be a great support across the nursery.

Meet Saffie – Our New Baby Moons Practitioner

Saffie joins us after completing a year at college studying a relevant childcare course, where she developed a strong understanding of early years development. During her course, she completed a successful placement in another nursery, gaining lots of valuable hands-on experience supporting children’s learning and care.

Saffie also brings experience from working in an out of school club, where she supported children’s play and wellbeing in a fun and nurturing environment.

She is now joining our Baby Moons team, where her kind and caring nature is already shining through as she builds relationships with our youngest children. We’re so excited to have her as part of our nursery family!

Karen joins our team with over 16 years of experience working with children within the Early Years sector. She holds a Level 4 qualification and brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and expertise to her role.

Throughout her career, Karen has supported children and families in a variety of settings and has previously undertaken the important role of Designated Safeguarding Lead, developing extensive knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices.

Karen is committed to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children and is already proving to be a valued member of our team. We are delighted to have her as part of our nursery family.

Skye has recently joined our Baby Unit and has already made a wonderful impression on both the children and staff. Her calm, caring nature and nurturing approach have been evident from day one, helping our little ones feel safe, secure and supported.

Before joining us, Skye gained valuable experience working with young children as a gymnastics coach. We are excited to build on these skills within the nursery, promoting health, well-being, physical development and exercise through fun and engaging experiences for the children.

We know Skye will be a fantastic addition to our team, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact she continues to make.

Mairi has recently joined our Full Moons Room and has settled in wonderfully. She brings with her valuable experience from working within an international school as a Numeracy and Literacy Tutor, supporting children to develop their confidence and skills in these important areas of learning.

Mairi's warm, friendly nature and enthusiasm for supporting children's development have already made a positive impression on both the children and staff. We are excited to see how her knowledge and experience will enrich the learning opportunities we provide within the nursery.
