I have always been so pleased and appreciative of how much effort the staff at Banana Moon Mirfield. My child always has so much fun when at nursery. They offer such a good variety of meals so the children get to try plenty of different foods and the activities they do with the kids always has an element

We were very anxious to initially send our child to nursery, however, she has transitioned really well with the support of the staff and she now misses nursery on her non nursery days! We have noticed a progress in her vocabulary and social skills and hope that this further develops in her time there.
The staff are very caring and show alot of support towards the children and we are happy to be a part of Banana Moon!

Lyla recently moved into teenie moons. I honestly cannot thank the staff enough for helping her with her transition. She now comes home shouting nursery on repeat and telling me how much she loves it! The activities are great and very age appropriate and they spend a lot of time outdoors which she loves!

Our son has been in nursery since February 2024 and absolutely flourished in his time at Banana Moon. He's built great relationships and friendships in each of the stages. What can I say about Banana Moon Mirfield, everyone is our extended family! Starting nursery and beginning that journey is always going to be an emotional transition but everyone at Banana Moon is so lovely and caring it makes it easy. They invest in you as a family, not just the child. Every practitioner
is passionate about what they do, nothing is too much trouble and there is always a listening ear when you need it. Our little boy is thriving, from starting at 10 months old to now being 4 year old his development has come on leaps and bounds! We couldn't be prouder parent's! It will be a sad day when he leaves in July for school but our little girl will be beginning with them in September and we get to do the Banana Moon journey all over again!

Banana moon MIRFIELD are incredible. Our little boy loves going going to nursery. The staff are so friendly and approachable. No question is too big or too small. The activities they set out for the children are so fun and inviting I wish I could go have a day at banana moon!
The themed stay and play
sessions are always so lovely and a brilliant chance to meet some other parents and see who our little ones play with and talk about when at home.
I've also participated in some of the parent activity sessions; pumpkin painting and Christmas wreath making which have both been brilliant!
Our son always has more than one portion of food so we know he enjoys whatever is on the menu.
An outstanding nursery with wonderful staff. I know my little boy is always safe and having fun! We love Banana Moon Mirfield x

We've had such a positive experience with our 16 month old boys nursery so far.


In just two months of attending, I've seen such a noticeable change in him. His confidence has grown, his communication has come on brilliantly and he just seems that bit more independent. It's amazing what the right environment

can do.


The management team are clearly very competent and organised. The days feel well structured and purposeful, which as a parent gives you real reassurance. You can tell there's strong leadership.


His keyworker is absolutely lovely, kind, engaging and genuinely invested in him. He lights up when he sees her and that says everything. I feel completely confident leaving him there each week, which is no small thing.


We couldn't be happier with the setting and the care he's receiving. It feels safe, nurturing and professional.

I was very apprehensive about sending my little boy to nursery but I can honestly say, I could not be happier with Banana Moon! The staff are so friendly and the nursery has such a warming but fun atmosphere. My little boy has taken so well to the staff and loves attending, he's always in the best mood
when I pick him up.


I am very impressed with the app used by staff to update parents throughout the day, I always look forward to seeing photos of my child taking part in different activities when I'm at work.


Food is also fantastic, lots of variety and home cooked meals. Always smells beautiful too.

My little girl loves Teenie Moons at Banana Moon Mirfield. I was very apprehensive about the move from Baby Moons to Teenies (Baby Moons were just amazing!) however it has been an absolutely brilliant transition and my little girl has settled amazingly. The staff are all wonderful with the children,
they are so caring and welcoming. I can't ask for any more! The updates on the app are great, there are so many different activities planned each day and the food always sounds delicious. My little girl is happy, safe and loves the staff - I would absolutely recommend Banana Moon Mirfield to anyone looking for a nursery.

We have been so impressed with the Banana moon since our little boy started last month. The updates we get on the app are reassuring and it's so nice to get picture updates.
Our little boy is really settling in well now thanks to the amazing staff in the baby room, the staff are great they always
make a fuss of him and all seem to know all the children really well.
The food always sounds so nice and our little boy seems to love it, he is doing so well since he started.
The staff have been great at keeping us updated if our little boy hasn't been well or if there's anything they feel we should know.

Both my children have attended banana moon over the last 6 years. My youngest is in full moons now and has the best time every day he attends. The staff in full moons have always made an effort to learn about my son and made strong bonds with him. They plan activities around his current development
stage and use his interests to get his and keep his attention. The management always have time for you and will help with anything they can do. I would recommend this nursery to anybody in the local area. They have good connections with local schools aswell when transiting to school.

Our daughter has been attending Banana Moon since she was 8 months old. Even though she had her moments when we dropped her off she always settled quickly in the care of the staff. Our daughter built a wonderful relationship with her key worker & other staff in Baby Moons. We were nervous about
her moving to Teenie Moons but we didn't need to be because the staff in all rooms are just as lovely. We love the access to the gardens and how much time they spend outdoors. The app is very reassuring to see what she has been up to each day and her cares such as toileting, food & naps are all updated regularly but don't seem to take away from working with the children. The building looks clean and the rooms always have lots of resources. There are activities throughout the day with structure for learning and flexibility for open free play. Communication is good and the management team know the children and respond to things very quickly. We wouldn't want our daughter to be going anywhere else!

As a Grandparent I cannot speak highly enough of the nursery, staff and management.
Firstly, my grandson has flourished during his couple of years at Banana Moon. It is clear from collecting my grandson from his rooms that the staff are exceptionally kind, caring and attentive and know the pupils
well as individuals and provide good communication This is highlighted with how safe, happy and confident the children are in the surroundings and with the staff. Transitions between rooms has been thoughtfully planned and supported.
I am always impressed with the communication between home and schools and the daily consistency of photos and observations. It's clear to see that the activities are highly motivating, stimulating and carefully planned to meet the pupils interests and developmental stages. The stories our grandchild recalls shows he feels happy and safe.
Most importantly I know my grandson is safe, and his emotional well being is gently nurtured and cared for.

The most amazing, caring, and supportive staff for our little ones
We have been coming to Banana Moon since September 2022, and from the very first day we knew we had found somewhere truly special. What has followed has been such a beautiful journey, filled with care, kindness, reassurance, and so
much love for our children. Every member of the team goes above and beyond to create a warm, nurturing, and safe environment, and it has meant the world to us as parents to know our little ones are so happy and well cared for each day.
As our little one now prepares to leave for nursery this year, we can't help but feel incredibly grateful - and a little emotional - reflecting on how much she has grown, learned, and thrived during her time there.
Thankfully, our journey with Banana Moon isn't over just yet, as we'll still be coming every day to drop off her little brother each day! He'll get to experience it all first hand too!

The staff at this nursery go above and beyond every day. My second child is now with them after a brilliant start for my son, my daughter now attends. They are welcoming and always have a lovely atmosphere for the children. The office staff are very competent and resolve any queries very quickly.
I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great nursery with excellent facilities and really great staff.
