Am very happy with the nursery staff and the way how they treat my child. My child is new in this nursery, have 4 months since she started but the nursery staff helped her in every single way to settle her more easily. I very suggest this nursery for everyone

My son attends Full Moons class at Banana Moon Nursery and we could not be happier with the care and support he receives.
He is a sensitive child, and the staff have shown incredible patience, understanding and kindness in helping him settle and grow in confidence. They have taken the time to truly
understand his needs, gently encouraging him and celebrating his achievements, no matter how small. The progress we have seen in his confidence and happiness has been amazing.
The team create such a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe and valued. Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel reassured knowing he is in such caring and capable hands.

Our little boy has been at the nursery for 2 years and absolutely loves it. Staff are always friendly and kind and clearly take pleasure in caring for the children. Compared to what I hear of other nurseries the staff turn over seems low and the carers in each room know the children really well. I enjoy
the updates on the app although would be good to hear more description of what activities the children are doing and they are meeting learning objectives. The children go out in the garden whenever they can but would also be nice if they went out on more day trips as my little boy has really enjoyed the few he has done. Thanks so much for all the hard work, would use nursery again!

Love banana moon, was recommended by my manager and my daughter loves going there, she gets excited as soon as I drop her off. Staff are amazing too and they communicate well too. She has been more active and better in terms of her development.

Great experience, this is my second child attending this nursey, staff are polite and helpful. The owner is very welcoming, he can often be seen around the nursery interacting with parents, staff and children, always with a smile. Staff are friendly, comforting and welcoming to children and parents. The baby room staff have been so caring and considerate with my child especially during his settle
sessions. They have communicated effectively both in person and on the app. Knowing I can check what my little one has been upto during his day really gives me peace of mind while I'm at work. Both staff and management have been very supportive. I could not recommend them more highly.

Both my daughters have been at this nursery and both have loved it. Staff are friendly and caring. Never had any issues. My youngest is there now and cries to go on her days off too! Well done to the managers and staff. Lovely people!

I've been sending my daughter since sept2024 so it's been a good 7/8 months now. I can say that hands down this nursery is one of the best out there. I as any other mother was very worried for my daughter especially sending her when she's just turned 1 and being so dependent on me. I was worried my
daughter wouldn't settle and wouldn't like the staff or just get on. But I can say that she settled within 2 weeks of going, the staff are so friendly, she quickly became friendly and acquainted with her key staff. I am sent regularly updates via the app and I was reassured in the first few months and am till this day if my daughter is having a bad day. She has picked up so much, her vocabulary has broadened and is learning to string sentences. Overall, I cannot think of one bad thing for this nursery and would recommend it to all my friends and family

The staff at the nursery are friendly and always willing to help. My daughter settled quickly into the setting and likes her time there. One day, I dropped her in and she ran to the staff to hug them, showing just how great they are. One staff member in particular in the 'Teenie Moons' room is lovely
and works hard to make children feel welcome. I've been really pleased with our experiences so far and would happily recommend to others.

We had a terrible experience with this nursery. Our daughter attended for a year and a half, starting at nine months old, and throughout that time, the staff turnover was unbelievably high. The management lacks proper knowledge of childcare and administration, making communication extremely poor. Despite
informing them multiple times that our daughter is lactose intolerant, she was given food containing lactose on several occasions.
Additionally, anytime she felt slightly unwell, they would immediately send her home. The nursery charges fees even on bank holidays when they are closed, which feels unfair. Worse, we overheard management gossiping about sensitive family information, which is completely unprofessional. When we raised our concerns with the nursery director, the investigation was poorly handled, and no corrective actions were taken. In the end, we had no choice but to move our daughter elsewhere.
I do not recommend this nursery to any parent.

My son has been attending Banana Moon Day Nursery Moseley for the past year, he loves going nursery all the staff are friendly and give detailed feedback at the end of the day, we also receive feedback throughout the day via the Banana Moon app which is brilliant. When dropping my son off to nursery
he is always greeted by a friendly, familiar face who he is happy to go to. Also, the food must be amazing as my son will eat better at nursery than he does at home.

Some nursery staff is nice, however communication from nursery regarding allergies etc. is shocking. Despite telling them, the communication fails and they blame parent for not filling in form. After form was filled in anyways the issue is still happening on many occasions.
The nursery timings are
also not great as they don't offer flexibility with 15 hours free placement. It's morning or afternoon or all day while other nurseries allow you to choose your starting time. So let's say 10-3 rather than their only option of am pm 8-1 kind of thing.
Despite staff is not great in communication with allergies they like to talk to other parent and so on if you are divorced. Shocking. Again they should mind their own business and stick with request and requirement of the parent who pays the nursery. They allow father to contact the child in nursery despite having clear court order not allowing it. I think anyone with a bit of research can find better and cheaper nursery around.

Where do I start. The nursery is awful. The management are awful and the owner is equally bad.
They can't communicate properly. They lie about what the child has eaten. They don't have a clue about childcare because this nursery has employed some of the most miserable members of staff. The rooms stink
of wee. Activities and resources are an absolute sham.
The entire management are inept. They like to gossip about families and make inappropriate comments in the office. They've had three managers within 6 months and all have been worse than each other.
They'll also leak sensitive information and then blame you for it. They will send individual photos of children to you when your child is nowhere to be seen in the photo. They'll use words like "no 2" to describe poo.
They use phrases like "you disgusting boy" when speaking to children. My child came back from nursery repeating these statements when playing with her toys. Please stay away.

I am so happy with the care my son receives at Banana Moon Day Nursery Moseley. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming and they clearly love what they do. Since my daughter has started, it's been constant development; she's learnt so much in the months of being there. Every week she's learning new things. It helped with her confidence and communication. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Any requests they cater for and have options of keeping them
for a longer time if needed, with options of half days or by the hour.
