Overall Experience
I cannot recommend Banana Moon highly enough, especially for parents of children with additional health needs. Our son, has severe eczema and multiple allergies, which naturally made us very anxious about starting daycare.
From day one, the team has gone above and beyond to accommodate him. They manage his skin care routine and allergy requirements with such diligence and care that it has completely put our minds at ease. It is rare to find a team that is so proactive and genuinely invested in a child's physical well-being and comfort.

We honestly can't thank the staff enough for the incredible work they do. They truly care for him. If you are looking for a nursery that treats your child like family and takes their health needs seriously, this is the place!

Overall Experience
I do not recommend this nursery.
My child's year group closed without notice due to staffing shortages, leaving parents struggling to find emergency childcare or secure places elsewhere.

In addition, earlier in our experience, my child struggled to settle and was reported to be crying for prolonged periods, which raised concerns about staffing capacity and support.

Overall Experience
My daughter B has been attending Banana Moon St Albans since she was 6 months old, she is now 18 months. Before her my other child also attended Banana moon 4 years ago.
I cannot praise the staff enough, they are very caring and gentle with baby. My daughter B loves going to every morning, she names her teachers frequently at home. Often when I pick her up she wants to show me things in her room that she has been playing with. She also has learnt at a quick pace thanks to their organised learning plan, she is very little but already has good vocabulary in English thanks to them.
They have an app that shows their daily activities, updates, pictures, meals and nappies.
They offer individualised approach. My daughter has started Potty training and they have been very helpful to help her continue what we do at home.

I cannot thank the teachers enough to the teachers for their loving care to ANITA, MAHIA, TIGER, NIFLA, KATE, THANK YOU ALL!

Overall Experience
We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The care, attention and fun activities they provide are amazing. We receive daily updates through the app and weekly feedback on milestones, which is so reassuring. We're always welcome to visit and are often invited to events, which makes us feel really involved.
The best part is how excited my daughter is to go every day. She knows all her teachers by name and they truly feel like family to her. She enjoys the food (she talks about it at home!) and has already learned to read and write at her preschool level.

Overall Experience
We couldn't be happier with this nursery.
One thing we really appreciate is how spacious and well-organised the baby room is. It's not something you often find, and it makes such a difference. There's plenty of room for the little ones to explore, play and move around safely without feeling crowded.
From the very beginning, they made our son feel safe and welcomed.
He is always excited and happy to go in each day, which really shows the nurturing environment they create.
What truly stands out is how kind and warm the team are - they are always smiling and welcoming, even at the end of what must be a very busy and demanding day. Their positive energy and genuine care never seem to fade, and that means so much to us as parents.

We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful nursery and couldn't recommend it more highly.

My daughter has recently joined banana moon. Along with her brother who's been there nearly 2 years. She's 16 months and born with a rare condition which affects her feeding. The nursery and all the staff have been very accommodating and understanding. They have really taken care of her and followed through what exact care she needs. They have great facilities and education strategies for the children and staff are fantastic. I have never had a bad word to say about Banana moon they have been outstanding.

Overall Experience
A fantastic, nurturing nursery whose friendly and welcoming staff have done a fantastic job of looking after both of my girls - a 3 year old, still in attendance and previously my (now) 8 year old.
Both of them love(d) going each day and it really set them up for the next step in their education.
Excellent range of facilities and activities, including a number of educational external provider visits. I couldn't be happier.

My daughter loves being at nursery, enjoying the staff and other children's company. Their app is very good for keeping up to date with my daughter's activities and talking to staff directly if need be.
They have a variety of activities and I can see my daughter learning and growing rapidly.

I trust the staff with her wellbeing and education. I highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

Overall Experience

The team at Banana Moon Bishop's Stortford have been so incredible with our daughter. She started as the youngest child in the nursery and struggled to settle. We also had difficulties with her eating at home. The team have been so dedicated and caring and got her settled and thriving in a few weeks. We noticed a huge improvement in her eating and her communication and she just grew in confidence overall.

The team were amazing with providing advice for us and keeping us updated about our daughter's daily activities.

I'd recommend this nursery to any and every family. The team are so passionate about what they do and I am so grateful for all they have done.

Overall Experience

Our little girl loves this nursery. She started several months ago and while I was initially nervous about leaving her in a new setting, she settled really easily and now loves going to nursery. The staff are great and it's lovely to see the updates during the day of the different fun and creative activities they get up to. Would definitely recommend to other parents

Such a wonderful Nursery, I've felt so at ease with my youngest daughter (started at 10 months) being looked after by the Banana Moon Team! Every member of staff is amazing from the management team, nursery support staff, catering team, cleaning team! They all have such a lovely kind and nurturing way of working. The nursery itself has the most warm feeling from the moment you walk through the door! I'm so grateful for the amazing care and love you've all shown to Imogen & our family! 10/10

Overall Experience

Banana moon, Bishops Stortford is an excellent Nursery. The most rewarding part are the teachers and carers of the children who place allot of emphasis on growth, development, support and importantly a comfortable environment where children have a super balance between comfort ,learning and growing. The communication and care of the children is by far the best experience I have had. My nephew has developed his personality and communication skills in such a short amount of time. The play the children are exposed to teaches them in a safe space. The meals are all different and exposed my nephew to new food groups and yet accommodate each child's dietary requirements. I have only had super support and care from Banana moon BS and could not recommend them enough. Superb team. my nephew told me "I wish I could stay there longer"

We couldn't be happier with our daughter's experience at this nursery. From the very first day, the staff have been incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. They keep us regularly updated with everything-whether it's about her daily activities, meals, or progress-which gives us real peace of mind.
One thing we especially appreciate is the healthy lunches they provide. It's reassuring to know she's eating nutritious food every day, and she always comes home full and happy.
The owner is absolutely lovely-so friendly and approachable. You can tell she truly cares about the children and the families, and that warmth filters down through the whole team.
Our daughter had a difficult experience with a nursery in another country, so we were nervous at first. But since joining this nursery, she has absolutely blossomed.

Highly recommend to any parent looking for a nurturing, professional, and genuinely caring environment for their child!!

I am so pleased with Banana Moon and wouldn't want my son attending any other setting. My youngest is due to start in September and I have no concerns or worries with this knowing how well my middle boy has settled in. He was welcomed with open arms, the settle sessions were really useful and worked around us and every member of staff is so friendly and always happy to help with anything/answer any questions and make sure you are confident to leave your child in their care. Banana Moon at Bishops Stortford is such a wonderful nursery, all the staff have been absolutely brilliant in helping my son settle in and creating an environment I know he's happy and safe in. The atmosphere is always welcoming, I'm kept up to date with everything my son does during his day and I couldn't ask for more out of a nursery. Clean, friendly and caring. The management and staff are top tier, communication skills 10/10 and highly recommend to any parent whose child isn't used to social environments yet as my son now understands what it is to have friends. Overall Experience

Our daughter started in January as the nursery opened and was one of the first to join. We had a really positive experience from the start, the staff are excellent - really supportive, kind, caring and friendly. We moved from a different nursery and our daughter was really quick to settle. Would highly recommend.
