Fantastic nursery with great learning spaces! Staff are brilliant with my daughter and have really helped her transition to nursery life. She loves her role at nursery and is making great progress thanks to the staff.
We look forward to a great journey ahead together.
Our son had a wobbly start to childcare with a bad experience of a childminder - I mention this only because I was trying to work out if we sold the house if I could afford to quit my job (we can't!). I really didn't want to leave him again ever, so I was on high alert with nurseries.
Banana Moon had a space last minute after Christmas so I read all the reviews I could find and on the tour the atmosphere was nice so I felt a bit better, but now he's started I know it's great! The ladies in the Baby Moons room are all amazing, so patient and they knew him really well within two weeks. I'm so happy with the progress in speech and understanding that he's made since starting and I can see from the frequent updates and watching them interact with him before I go into the room how much they care for him.
Special shout out for the food, I have to pick him up after mealtimes because he cries if he misses out!

My little girl has been sooo happy and advanced incredibly since she started at moon day nursery, and the staffs are absolutely amazing and lovely and I know my little girl is in good hands l. Thanks for the work youse do xx

We couldn't recommend this nursery high enough! As a mother who was really nervous to send her daughter to nursery, I am thrilled with the care she is receiving. She settled in so quickly and loves going. The staff are a credit to the place, they are always so warm and welcoming and really make the place have a personal and family atmosphere. I have been really impressed by the facilities and the varied activities that our daughter has taken part in. She has learnt so much and I'm so grateful that we found such a wonderful nursery for our daughter to attend.

We love Banana Moon for our baby, they persevered so much in the beginning which was a tough start for our little one. She's now much more comfortable and making it through full days. Her key workers are fantastic and she already has an attachment to them. Her diet at nursery is brilliant and I'm always getting updates that she's eaten plenty which is reassuring. Looking forward to seeing how much she progresses over time. So far so good!

The staff are always happy, friendly faces, nothing is ever too much! The care and attention my child receives is more than I could ever wish for in a nursery.

My little girl is settled and loves all the activities that she takes part in and has come on in her development since joining in January. The food is also freshly prepared and varied and tailored to each child's needs as my little one is vegetarian.
The app is another massive selling point and we receive updates on every aspect of my little one's day including their learning progression.
I would happily recommend the nursery to family and friends.

Our little one was the first boy in the nursery and he settled in quite well. The nursery manager and staff work with you to settle your child and are always there if you have any ideas, concerns or queries. Our little boy absolutely loves going to the nursery and calls it his baby school. He is always happy going and coming out of the nursery which is always a great sign. We cannot thank the nursery staff/management enough. 5 staff members in particular are all ever so lovely. All the equipment is new and the setup is so nice. Plenty of educational and sensory toys to play with. They have indoor sandpit and slide for the little ones as well. The wooden equipment is unique that you wouldn't have seen in any other nursery. We'll be sending our daughter to the nursery too when she is 9 months old.

My child has settled really well into nursery life. The children have a good routine and a well balanced menu. Learning is tailored to each individual child. Staff always have time to chat about my child. We took a long time to find to find a nursery we felt met our needs and we are very happy.

My son has come on with his social skill very well and has settled in great with the teachers and no longer cries when being left after such a short time. Being in nursery also has started to be more verbal and understands orders.

As first time parents of a toddler in nursery, this nursery has helped us to ease well into this journey. The staff have been helpful. The nursery has modern facilities. Our toddler has settled in well and is now more comfortable with staff members and the nursery in general. We get regular review of our toddlers activities. The Nursery Manager works closely with the Director whilst also being expected to work autonomously in relation to everyday management responsibilities. The role requires the confidence to make decisions considering the reputation and financial aspects of the business whilst balancing a high degree of sensitivity to the needs of children and families.
To provide operational management of the nursery facilities and staff, to ensure a high-quality, balanced provision of leading practice education and care is delivered at all times. Responsible for the company's adherence to Banana Moon policies and procedures. Consistently meeting legislative requirements and following the education curriculum, delivering standards which ensure the highest possible inspection grading.
Ensure that the training, support, mentoring and supervision of the staff team inspires and leads ambitious practice. To create a safe, caring and welcoming setting in which parents are happy to entrust their child and where their child is encouraged and supported to flourish in an enabling and stimulating environment.
To promote a successful and profitable business, engage with the local community and market the nursery to reach maximum occupancy whilst providing excellent customer care.
The Nursery Deputy Manager works closely with the Manager and may have responsibility as a Room Leader whilst also being expected to take responsibility for everyday management responsibilities in the absence of the Manager. The role requires the confidence to make decisions considering the reputation and financial aspects of the business whilst balancing a high degree of sensitivity to the needs of children and families.
To support the operational management of the nursery facilities and staff, to ensure a high-quality, balanced provision of leading practice education and care is delivered at all times.
