The absolutely wonderful staff here are phenomenal - they pour their heart and souls into making memorable learning experiences everyday.
Communication is brilliant - through the app (with photos), their social media pages and their hand overs everyday.
The management team are brilliant - they know every parent, every milestone, every development and really celebrate this in our encounters with them, whether this is at their informative parent consultation meetings or just a natter at the car door on collection.
Our daughter has experienced so much with the amazing team at Banana Moon - The Forest School experiences have been phenomenal, as have visits from a group for musical and rhyme time and cookery sessions.
Such kind and lovely words! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your child's journey and we are so fortunate to still be a part of that journey a second time round!
We couldn't be happier with this nursery! The staff are incredibly informative and engaging, always keeping us updated on our child's progress. The activities are fantastic and we especially love how much time they spend outdoors, giving the children great opportunities to explore and learn. It's clear they genuinely care about the kids and we've seen so much growth and confidence in our son since he started. Highly recommend!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review- We really value your feedback and kind words! We are so happy to be a part of your Child's journey here at Banana Moon
I have used this nursery for all 3 of my children and recommend it to everyone! The setting and staff are amazing, from babies to pre-school the overall care for the children is brilliant and the activities provided are some of the best I have seen. My oldest children are still friends with children met here and the interaction with families is brilliant. The help and support provided in navigating funding options is also invaluable and the updates are easy to compute when trying to manage parenting!
Thank you for your lovely words! It truly means a lot to have returning parents and hearing your kind words really solidifies why we do what we do!
The communication with both the senior team and the twins' carers has been excellent; they've always been extremely helpful and sensitive to our daughters' needs, and committed to helping us as a family with issues like scheduling sessions and funding queries.
We've also been really happy that the twins get the.opportunity to play outside in a beautiful peaceful setting with horses in the next door meadow and ducklings hatching. Altogether, it's a lovely setting.
Thank you for your kind words, it is a great privilege to be part of the twins journey. We can't wait to watch them continue to grown learn and achieve.
Banana Moon are amazing!! We recommend them to everyone. We're so glad we found them and they were able to squeeze us in both times. Our daughter had the best years there and we were absolutely gutted when she came to leave. Our son has recently joined the baby room too and is loving it already. The staff are incredible at what they do and you can see all kids love them. Staff at all levels are friendly, approachable and really know their stuff. Thank You Banana Moon Lower Sundon!! x
Thank you for choosing us to be part for your children's journey.
Rural location but also only a few minutes drive out of Luton
Huge outside space
Lovely staff
Brilliant SEND team - my daughter is autistic and has food intolerance. The nursery has been amazing with everything
We are lucky to have such a wonderful outdoor space. Thank you for your lovely review.
Love the nursery, the staff and how it's being managed. I feel much involved in the process and well informed about my child's progress and development. Planning to send my second child in few months.
Thank you for your kind words, we can't wait to meet the newest member of your family and welcome them into our Banana Moon Family.
As he was a lockdown baby, we worried that he might be affected badly but thanks to nursery, he hasn't been and is completely ready for school now.
The standards of care have been great, the staff always approachable and friendly and we have always felt safe and secure sending our son there.
Thanks very much!
Thank you for the lovely review, it has been a pleasure having your child in our care and being a part of their journey! We will greatly miss them as they move on to big school.
My son had attended for 3 years and has thoroughly enjoyed his time here and the friendships he has made, both with other kids and play leaders.
Not sure he's quite accepted yet he's off to school!
Thank you to all for the last 3 years, all the best for the future.
We’re super happy with Banana Moon Lower Sundon. All of the the staff are super friendly and our little one has such a good time. I love seeing all of the updates on their app, they’re always up to something fun and usually very messy. We love how outdoorsy it is, they have outside play areas right outside the room and then a massive field overlooked by horses, there is so much for them to learn and discover. It also feels super safe and secure. There’s so much more, varied nutritious food, the learning, themed weeks, stay and plays.
I feel so happy that my child is learning and feels safe in a fantastic rural nursery. I feel like it is a home from home and the staff are very accommodating and welcoming. Banana Moon Day Nursery Lower Sundon will be recommended to friends and family as a great place for their children to learn and grow.
Thank you for your review. We are so pleasured you and you child are happy here.
Our first son has been attending Banana Moon since he was one, and my youngest has just settled into the baby room. My eldest will be very sad to leave in September when he starts school. He was born at the start of Covid and has come so far since - Banana Moon has been a massive part of that progress. He's loved his time there, enjoying the extensive outdoor space and forming bonds with the lovely staff and management, who have always supported and encouraged him (and us!). He's grown in confidence and independence so much, and the preschool has really helped in preparing him for school. They always have fun, engaging and educational activities set up for them to enjoy. The communication with us has been great - we've loved seeing pictures, reports and golden moments on the app. We're looking forward to seeing my youngest progress through his time at Banana Moon too! Thanks to all the staff/management who work so hard to ensure our little ones have such a great start in their early years!
Thank you for your kind words we have enjoyed being part of both your children's journey.
I'm almost tempted to have a third, just so we don't have to say goodbye (No, I'm definitely kidding about having a third though).
Thank you for your review. We have loved being part of your families journey. Such kind words.
My daughter has recently moved up to the toddler room, and her speech has come on so well.
Each member of staff takes good care, pride and joy in caring for my daughter, and I couldn’t ask for more. Every morning when we attend, my daughter has a big smile on her face as soon as we drive through the gates.
Thank you for your kind words. We love to see the children learn and achieve everyday.
The staff made us feel so welcome and so comfortable, and our baby seemed to love it.
The environment is lovely, and the staff are all so kind, caring and just amazing.
One day, as I arrived to collect, I saw through the window my son being really cared for (we always come at different times, so we knew this was genuine and not just for show in case we were arriving).
The outside field is so lovely, and the children have so much outdoor space to access.
It's extremely safe, with a gated entrance and cameras within the nursery.
You have to buzz and speak to enter, so not just any random can get in.
We are very happy, and after viewing a few nurseries, Banana Moon was the best by far.
Thank you for sharing this moment. We love that we have an open door policy where parents can share these precious moments with us.
The staff at Banana Moon Lower Sundon are incredibly professional and friendly, providing a supportive and encouraging environment for children to grow and develop. In the 1.5 years my son has attended the nursery he has formed positive relationships with the staff and is excited to attend nursery. Having a child with allergies, I had concerns about sending him to a childcare provider; however, the staff have provided continuous support and regularly checked in with his allergies. The outside space at the nursery is second to none! A huge field with lots of equipment, bug hotels, plenty of space to run around and more as well as age-appropriate outdoor gardens. There hasn’t been a single day where my son hasn’t been able to go outside, rain or shine! We love the child-led attitude for activities and incorporating their ideas into the day. The staff are incredible and perfectly suited to childcare. I’m certain we will be sad when it is time to move on to school.
This is so lovely to hear. We pride ourselves in being an outdoorsy settling there are so many wonderful learning opportunities both inside and out. No matter what the weather we are outside suited and booted.
My child has been going for just over a year now, and he has come on leaps and bounds in his confidence, socialising and development. When he started, he could only say a few words, and now his vocabulary is amazing! He absolutely loves nursery and can not wait to tell me and his dad about his day when we collect him! One of the reasons we love Banana Moon is the amount of time they get to spend outside!
Thank you for leaving us a lovely review. We are delighted that your child has developed so much with us.
Amazing nursery! My son has learnt so much. They are all so caring and kind-hearted! There’s not a day when my son comes home without learning something new. The field outside is amazing, and they get to see horses too! My son thoroughly enjoys his days at Banana Moon, and I’m sure he will be sad to leave in September when he goes to a big school! You’re all superstars!
Thank you. It is always hard to see our children leave to follow their school journey but we are so pleased that we have been able to support teacher and enjoy those first years.
I couldn’t be happier with the nursery and all the staff. The level of care is unmatched; they are always flexible and kind, and I’m so pleased with how they support my child’s development! I have a little one on the way, and I can’t wait for him to join this wonderful environment. Highly recommended!
Thank you for your review I will pass on your kind words to the team.
Staff are always friendly and engaged with the children.
