Thank you for creating such a nurturing environment and for being such an important part of our child's early years. We will always look back on this chapter with fond memories.
Our daughter has attended Little Cubs since late 2022, and is about to finish her time there. While I cannot fault the care & commitment of a few individual staff members over the years, our experience on the whole is not one I would recommend. The promise of better things after the Grandir takeover has not been met, communication remains poor & staff retention is shockingly bad. It's a constant revolving door of temporary staff who form no real bonds with the children, and seem so unengaged/unhelpful, so the few permanent staff are rushed off their feet and actively have to tell them to do their jobs, staff culture/morale seems low. There have been safeuarding issues, and obvious violations of ratios, where they've had to move kids around rooms to balance numbers due to low staff numbers. In recent weeks a poorly-timed 6-week garden renovation has closed the garden, meaning kids are kept inside with no AC and very little structure to their day's activities. Looking forward to leaving

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in today's Sports Day. Today was incredibly special for our family. It was our very first Sports Day at Wandsworth Day Nursery, and, bittersweetly, it was also our last as our daughter will soon be moving on to primary school. While it's emotional knowing this chapter is coming to an end, I couldn't have imagined a more wonderful way to celebrate it. The entire event was absolutely fantastic. It was so well organised, full of energy, laughter and smiles, and it was clear how much thought, care and effort had gone into making it such a memorable day for both the children and their families. We had such an amazing time, and it is a memory that we will treasure for years to come.
I would especially like to thank Lilly, Chloe, Melissa and Annie. You have all been exceptional. Your kindness, patience, enthusiasm and genuine care for every child shines through in everything you do.

Both of our sons attend this nursery, and we couldn't be happier. We moved to the area about a year ago and had been very happy with their previous nursery, so we had high expectations - and this nursery has truly exceeded them. We love the strong sense of community. It's wonderful that all staff and management know the children by name, even those outside their own rooms, making every child feel recognised and cared for. The nursery is the perfect size, with a lovely balance of personal attention and opportunities to socialise. The facilities are fantastic, with big classrooms, an amazing garden, sensory room, library, and a great range of activities including Spanish singing and sports. Having a chef on site is also a lovely touch.
Our sons are happy and excited to attend every day, and we feel very lucky to be part of such a warm and welcoming nursery.

Our son has been at the nursery for just over a year and has gone through the baby and toddler rooms and is now beginning his transition to the 2-3s. We have had a great experience with the nursery and have always felt like the staff really cared about our son and his development. We can tell he has fun and has made a real connection with the staff and other children. It's great that there is a good amount of free form fun as well as guided learning, including yoga and Spanish classes. We also like that he can spend plenty of time outdoors. We are very thankful to all the staff!

We've been so impressed with the Ducklings team at Dicky Birds Dundonald Road. Our daughter settled in really well from the start, which was down to the thorough settling in period before she officially joined. The team are always welcoming, happy to have a debrief at the end of the day, and genuinely care.

My son went to this nursery started in January 2025 and was there for just under a year. This nursery is terrible and I would highly recommend not to send your child here. My son came back to this nursery nearly everyday soiled nappy and unhygienic. Clothes were not changed from being wet or dirty. he had so many accidents of him hurting himself with no witnesses of staff seeing what he had done. We had an issue with one staff member involved in a accusations our son told us a staff member hurt his tummy was invested within 4 hours and was told there was no witnesses or any evidence this had happened it was a 2 years old word against a staff members. We never got any update on how our son had done during the day or what he had eaten staff members had changed so much throughout his time at nursery he never had a set key person in place.
We reported all this to Ofsted in 2026 when he left and they have now done a report stating urgent improvement needed!! Please read recent Ofsted!

The staff are fantastic, they truly care, and it shows in everything they do. They go above and beyond to make sure our son is happy and settled.
Our son took some time to adjust at first, and the team guided us through the transition with patience and understanding. Drop-offs were difficult in the early days, but the staff always found ways to make things exciting for him. During the settling-in period, he spent most of his time in the arms of his key worker, which we appreciated enormously. He's since built a strong bond with her and with other members of staff. We've gotten to know most of the staff well, which leaves us feeling relaxed and reassured. Communication is excellent, and the app they provide is genuinely practical and easy to use.

Although our time at Dundonald Road was relatively brief for personal circumstances, our experience (and our daughter's) was very positive. Our daughter settled quickly and developed hugely in a short space of time. All of the staff were wonderful - happy, caring and very engaged with the children.

I have my 2 kids at Ryan House. They love it and so do we. The team and easily approachable and really get to know the kids. The food is varied and my kids are well fed at nursery.

My daughter has thrived at Charnwood Day Nursery. She started at 11 months and settled in so well and quickly with the help of the nurturing and caring staff. You are always met with a warm welcome . even at 7:30 in the monring.She has developed greatly in all areas thanks to the stimulating activities that are provided. You can really tell with how het soeech has come on that she is always getting quality interactions throughout her day. Staff are so kind and extremely informative at pick up and along with the app, I know everything about her day.
I couldnt ask for a better nursery and group of staff looking after my daughter.

Overall Experience
I moved my child from another nursery in Islington, and it was honestly the best decision I ever made. When he first started, he had a few difficulties and needed extra support. Since joining, I have seen a huge improvement in all areas of his development. The staff have been caring, supportive, and always willing to help. I am extremely happy with the support both my child and I have received. The nursery has made a real positive difference, and I would highly recommend it to other parents.

Overall Experience
Charnwood is a really lovely nursery, our daughter started at 9 months old and will be leaving for school this September. She enjoys her time in nursery and is always excited to go in. The staff are professional, very approachable and have a great bond with all the children. They are constantly thinking of new and exciting activities for the children to get involved in and we hear all about them when she gets home. We have no doubt at all that Charnwood Day Nursery has given our daughter the best start and fully prepared her for school. She is going to really miss the staff and children there!

Clare, Jane and Jas have been amazing in helping Teddy, Jack and me settle into nursery. Before Teddy started, Jas took the time to answer all my questions and worries, putting us at ease straight away. Every morning we are welcomed into the baby room by a friendly team who help Teddy start his day positively. Jane is incredibly kind and keeps us updated through the app with observations that make us feel involved in Teddy's development and help us understand what he is learning through play. Clare is wonderful and Teddy loves her. Seeing him happily reach out to her at drop-off makes leaving him so much easier. Jas has been a huge support, especially during the first few weeks, keeping me updated and reassuring me when there were tears. Her advice and encouragement have also helped Teddy make great progress with his dummy. The care shown by the baby room team is reflected in how happy Teddy is both at nursery and at home. We are so grateful to you all for helping our family settle
