Sensory and messy play activities abound, with easy access to free flow into the garden throughout the year, allowing the children to explore and practice walking in a spacious, well-lit environment.
Older children share an integrated learning space. This arrangement encourages mutual support and learning among the children. There is a focus on turn-taking, sharing, and beginning to identify marks and simple sentences. The room offers a range of activities, from messy play to arts and crafts, supporting diverse learning experiences.
Children that are getting ready for school are engaged in building a robust vocabulary, forming letters, and recognising letters in familiar words or their names. Independence is encouraged, with free choices during activities and self-serving at mealtimes. Activities also expand their knowledge of the world, fostering curiosity and encouraging them to ask questions.

Without the discount, 5-day monthly fees are £1,795.75 with 15 hours funding and £1,411.17 with 30 hours funding for children aged 9 months to 2 years, and £1,599.70 and £1,271.52 for 3 and 4 year olds.

Everyday Essentials are included in our private fees. For funded children they are charged at £2.16 per funded hour (£21.60 for a 10-hour funded day) and cover catering (breakfast, cooked lunch and tea with vegetarian and vegan options, and snacks throughout the day), care products (suncream, wipes, hand sanitiser and nappies) and enrichment experiences, including music sessions with instruments, yoga, Heartbeeps and sports sessions. Funded children are billed weekly for the sessions they attend, so monthly amounts may vary. Funded hours are applied up to 10 hours a day. Wraparound care from 7:30am to 8am and 6pm to 6:30pm may be available on request. Ad-hoc days are £102.60 for children under 3 and £90.72 for children over 3, subject to availability. We offer a 10% sibling discount on the eldest child's invoice. A non-refundable administration fee of £150 is payable to secure a place. If you only access funded hours, this fee is refunded on your first month's invoice. If you would prefer to provide your own consumables, please let the nursery know. Fully funded sessions without Everyday Essentials charges are available. Please speak to the Nursery Manager.

We've been really impressed with the nursery. The staff are very caring and there are lots of varied activities each day. Our little one runs in each day happy to see everyone. The garden is great and the kids spend lots of time outside which we really appreciate.

My son started at Pippa's House Nursery in June 2024, when he was 11 months old. He settled in very quickly and loves it there. The staff are amazing and have provided a fantastic caring and nurturing environment. They go above and beyond, always making time to go through any queries I have. The days are filled with lots of activities including arts and crafts, decorating food, sensory play and lots of outdoor activities. It's a joy watching how happy he is, always has a massive smile when I pick him up and how much he has learnt in such a short space of time.

My daughter started at Pippa's House Nursery in March 2024 when she was 11 months old and I have been thoroughly impressed ever since. All of the staff are so welcoming and friendly and my daughter absolutely loves it there. There is great consistency of staff and they make a huge effort with the variety of activities on offer. Not only that, but most importantly, the care my daughter receives from the staff is absolutely second to none and I have every confidence that she is as well looked after there, as she is when she is at home with me. I couldn't recommend Pippa's House Claygate highly enough.

Our daughter has been going to Pippa's House Nursery in Claygate since July 2024. She's our first child and was 9 months old when we first sent her so we were naturally apprehensive about sending her to nursery. The team have been exceptional, it's felt like a real partnership and we've been able to work together and adapt things as they've been needed. I really felt like the team at Pippa's are truly invested in all of the children and I can't speak highly enough of them. They are actively engaged in our daughter's development and feel like she has come on so much since going. She also absolutely loves it!!

Our two children joined Pippa's House Claygate (in the under 2's and Pre-school rooms) following a house move in January this year and we couldn't have been happier on how they have both settled. The staff are all so caring and it is such a welcoming environment, there is always a friendly face at drop off. There is also great consistency in the team (which is not always the case from our experience of nursery settings). They put a lot of thought into activities and our eldest enjoys the extracurricular sports and our youngest Hartbeeps. Our son leaves for school in September and we feel they have supported him well in preparing for this transition. We always get a very thorough handover at the end of each day both in person and also through the app. They are flexible, and kind and keep the kids stimulated and active throughout the day.

We were nervous to move our daughter to a new nursery when we moved house but we have been happy with Pippa's from day one. The staff genuinely care for all of the children and our daughter is learning so many things I would not even think to teach her at home. They play outside as much as possible and always have exciting themes and activities to aid her learning. She is happy and confident making friends with the other children and the menu of food is varied and encourages her to try new things.
The nursery is flexible, supportive and always welcoming and accommodating which is reassuring when we work full time. Highly recommend!

Our little boy absolutely loves going to nursery and we've been happy with his whole experience at the setting. The preschool team create some fantastic activities to keep all the children entertained and engaged and our son regularly mentions all he's learned there. While the outside space is smaller than other nurseries, they've made great use of it, with a section for the smaller children and lots of activities that older children can do. The team are good at communicating with us, listening to any concerns we have and acting on them. There is always a friendly face to welcome our child every morning and they all look like they are genuinely having a good time.
It's also nice that Pippa's Claygate is part of a small chain of nurseries, so it feels like each child matters.

The outdoor space isn’t as big as other nurseries however the nursery has really utilised the space with great toys and activities. I can’t highly recommend them enough.

My son has been at Pippa's Claygate since he was 11 months, shortly after it opened. He loves it there and couldn't be happier. The manager and all the staff are very caring and plan thoughtful activities every day. They really understand my son and know how to best support his development and learning. I highly recommend Pippa's in Claygate.
