My son went to this nursery started in January 2025 and was there for just under a year. This nursery is terrible and I would highly recommend not to send your child here. My son came back to this nursery nearly everyday soiled nappy and unhygienic. Clothes were not changed from being wet or dirty. he had so many accidents of him hurting himself with no witnesses of staff seeing what he had done. We had an issue with one staff member involved in a accusations our son told us a staff member hurt his tummy was invested within 4 hours and was told there was no witnesses or any evidence this had happened it was a 2 years old word against a staff members. We never got any update on how our son had done during the day or what he had eaten staff members had changed so much throughout his time at nursery he never had a set key person in place.
We reported all this to Ofsted in 2026 when he left and they have now done a report stating urgent improvement needed!! Please read recent Ofsted!

T has attended for almost a year, and we couldn't be happier with the care he has received. From the moment he joined at 6mo, the team made us feel welcome and created a warm, family-like environment where he quickly settled.
All of the staff are friendly, caring and approachable, and it is clear how much they genuinely care about the children. A special mention must go to Ruby, whose wonderful relationship with T has given us complete confidence from day one. He absolutely adores her and has built such a strong bond with her that we never worry about drop-offs. As a FTM, the regular updates and communication through the app were incredibly reassuring and helped me feel connected to his day. He loves attending nursery and always seems engaged and happy to be there.
Thank you to Ruby and the whole nursery team for making T's 1st year at nursery such a positive experience. We would highly recommend this nursery to any family looking for a caring, supportive and nurturing environment.

We cannot thank this nursery enough for everything they have done for our daughter. From the very beginning, the staff have been caring, supportive, kind, and truly dedicated to creating a happy and safe environment for the children.
Our daughter has grown so much in confidence, learning, and social skills during her time here, and that is all thanks to the amazing team. Every day she came home happy and excited to share what she had been doing. The nursery provides wonderful activities and experiences, and it is clear how much effort and love goes into everything they do.
We are so grateful for all the care, patience, and support they have given our family. Leaving is emotional because they have been such a big and positive part of our daughter's early years. My child started with Kiddi Caru Coronation Road a few months ago and the nursery has been great. We were made to feel so welcome when we started and my child has settled in really well and has developed good relationships with all of the staff there and enjoys being there. The range of food provided has been great and my child loves it.

We've had a really positive experience with this nursery. The team has been incredibly accommodating and always willing to go the extra mile to support both children and parents. What stands out most is how they genuinely listen to all types of feedback and take meaningful action where needed. It's reassuring to feel heard and to see that suggestions are not only acknowledged but also implemented. The staff are approachable and make it easy to work directly with the team, creating a strong sense of partnership.
Everyone is consistently positive, friendly, and supportive, which makes a big difference day to day. Overall, it's a welcoming and responsive environment that we're very happy with.

Our son is attending Kiddi Caru at Hanham since March 2024, when he just turned 1 year old. So he started from the baby room and is now in preschool. We have had an overall very good experience. The staff is caring and understanding. Our lo has some on and off hard time on drop off and the staff is doing its best to cuddle him when he struggles. The outdoor time and the recent outings to the local care home or the community park they're doing, as well as the staff kindness and approachability is the best thing about the day nursery. My son is overall happy to go and always has something to say about his day. Something that could be improved: - More arts and crafts and less unstructured messy play - Try to reorganise the room space to avoid sleeping/eating and playing in the same room
- Improving communication about locum staff. It's common that I found locum staff within the room that nobody introduced to us. It might me useful and reassuring to parents to know about them

Our son has been attending this nursery for a year and a half. He's moved through 3 rooms in this time and in every room, staff clearly care about him and enjoy spending time with him. There are two large gardens, which the children spend a lot of time in throughout the year. Each room has a lot of exciting toys to keep the children busy. It's a great environment for the kids to interact with each other too. The food seems very varied, well thought out and nutritious, especially the lunches.
The staff always give us an update on his day when we pick him up. We enjoy seeing the photos they post on the nursery app too. The kids get up to lots of different activities! We're really glad we sent our son here.

We have had nothing but positive experiences with this nursery. The staff are consistently warm, kind and genuinely caring, which has made such a difference to us as parents. Our son has been attending since he was 9 months old and he absolutely loves it there. When we were due to move, we even considered changing nurseries, but ultimately decided against it because he was so happy and settled.
Communication from all staff members is excellent-they keep us well-informed and are always approachable and supportive. We feel very confident and reassured knowing our son is in such good hands. They have been very supportive throughout his time there. It is a tough job within a tough system and we really appreciate their care

Both my Son and Daughter have attended this nursery. I could not rate it highly enough! The practitioners are so great with the children and genuinely care about them! Erin especially has been instrumental in helping my daughter potty train, something we have struggled with for over a year now! Our little boy has been going to this nursery since January 2025. Our boy has additional needs and quite frankly, severe autism. He is also non verbal. We had tried another mainstream setting prior to this and it didn't end well. From the moment we first phoned and enquired they have been nothing but understanding and supportive ot him (and us!), doing tiny tiny settling in sessions, adapting food for him, adapting the room set up to ensure his safety. Everyone is brilliant with him, but I must say his key worker Ruby is phenomenal! As his portage worker said (who has worked in SEN childcare for over 20 years) she is a 'gem' and one of the 'special and rare' ones. Our son adores her, and she is amazing with him. She encourages him, praises him and her posts make her seem as proud of his tiny little accomplishments as we are. After a year, he finally runs into nursery and enjoys his morning. We have no 'worries' about him whilst he is there.

I am so glad myself and my partner chose this nursery for our son. He is so happy there and always enjoys all the activities they get up to. Our daughter loves it here and has really come out of her shell since starting and moving through all the rooms. She even asks to go at the weekend! The management team and the staff in all the rooms are all incredibly friendly and welcoming to both the children and parents. There are always lots of themed activities taking place every day, helping the children develop valuable skills and learn new things. The regular updates on the app are also great-it's lovely being able to see what she's been up to during the day.
There's a good variety of food, and the team were fantastic when helping with her potty training. The children also spend plenty of time outdoors, which is great. The garden is huge, and the bike and trike tracks are brilliant-they've really helped build her confidence, and now she's much more eager to try riding her bike at home.

Our son has attended GPR for some time now and he absolutely loves it there - the staff are brilliant and make a real effort with him. They keep us updated regularly and share all the fun stuff he's been up to during the day including what he's eaten and when he slept.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for over a year, having started in the baby room and progressing to the toddler room. She was supported wonderfully to settle into the nursery and through room transition. Staff are excellent, really caring and attentive to my child's needs.
She comes home happy and bouncy. The menus are great and she eats a brought range of foods. She does so many different craft activities, has made some wonderful friendships and we as parents couldn't be happier.

My daughter has been attending Kiddi Caru Hanham Hall since September 2024 when she was 9 months old. The staff have always been very attentive in each of the rooms she had been in, Discoverers, Explorers and Creators - providing her with a cuddle when needed and always provide a thorough handover. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her time here and it has been worth commuting for her to attend. The only downsides I would report would be there can be a delay for staff to answer the doors on drop off and collection, and the consumable charges are high in comparison to other local nurseries.
Overall, I would recommend this nursery to friends and family on the basis of the excellent care and support they have provided over the past 18 months.

Both children attended the setting and really enjoyed their time here, they were always happy being dropped off and always engaged in play on pick up. The staff are always very friendly and provide a clean setting with lots of play activities.

My child has been attending the setting for nearly two years. All of the staff who have cared for her have always been friendly and professional. They all know her well, and are so child focussed. The setting is clean and the activities/toys of good quality. They have regular themed days, and often provide photos and descriptions of my child's learning. My child enjoys the food and eats well there. The setting have been amazing at supporting her potty training. I can't speak more highly of Kiddi Caru Downend Road!
