Our baby started in the baby room at Spencerswood Day Nursery in January, and we honestly couldn't be happier with how things have gone. From the very beginning, the staff made the whole transition so smooth and reassuring for both our baby and us as parents.
He settled in amazingly quickly, which we
really credit to the caring and attentive team. It's clear that they genuinely take the time to get to know each baby, their routines, and what makes them feel comfortable. Every day he arrives with a smile and leaves happy, which says everything about how well he's being looked after.
Before starting, we did wonder if the baby room being in the basement would make any difference, but it honestly doesn't at all. The room is bright, welcoming, and full of engaging activities, and most importantly our baby clearly has the best day there. He's always busy playing, learning, and interacting with the staff and other babies.

My little boy currently attends the preschool after moving up from the nursery and previously my older son also attended both.


We love puddleduck preschool and so do both our sons! The activities always look fun and creative, he loves attending forest school, music classes, and playball! He is always

happily singing songs at home or in the car that he's learnt at nursery or talking about his friends.


Communication from the staff on the app is always clear, giving a great inside view to what they are learning and focusing on each week with a weekly newsletter.


The staff are engaging and welcoming at pick up and drop off and, my son is always happy to see them and clearly enjoys his action packed days there which I am very grateful for! Thank you!

I can't recommend this nursery enough. My son is thriving here and all the staff are lovely it feels like a home from home. I feel confident that my son is safe and well scared for, and learning so much every day. He has already made wonderful friendships too.

We are so grateful for the wonderful care our son receives at this nursery. He is following in the footsteps of his two older siblings in attending Puddleducks and from day one, the staff have been warm, supportive, and genuinely dedicated to his wellbeing and development. He has grown in confidence,
independence, and communication skills, and he comes home every day excited to share what he has learned.


The activities are creative, engaging, and thoughtfully planned, helping children learn while having fun. Forest school and playball are a firm favourite of his. Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed and reassured. Most importantly, our son is happy, settled, and thriving. Thank you to the entire team for the positive impact you've made on his early years - we couldn't recommend you highly enough. A very special mention to Natalie, Lauren, Sam, Cerys and of course Laiba and not forgetting Lisa, who gets top mark's for her cooking!

The staff at the nursery have been absolutely amazing easing my daughter into nursery life. We have seen a drastic change in my daughter's development, she was a slightly fussy eater before and now she will give any food a go. She has started walking and talking and I genuinely feel like the nursery
has a huge part to play in this. I feel as if the staff at the nursery genuinely care about my child's development and I feel well informed during the day while she is at nursery with the updates they put on the app. I am so glad we enrolled our daughter I feel she is well looked after by well equipped and qualified staff. Very happy!

From the moment my daughter joined in June last year after leaving a nursery she truly loved, the team made her transition seamless. They helped her settle quickly with warmth, reassurance and genuine care. She absolutely loves going in each day and has so much fun there.
The nursery offers fantastic
enrichment. Their forest school is outstanding! They have engaging extra curricular actives such as sports and music sessions. Her learning at nursery has really supported her confidence and curiosity.
Communication with parents is excellent; I'm regularly updated on her progress and always feel listened to.
What stands out most is how supportive and attentive the staff are. They truly understand her as an individual and take great care to nurture her unique needs. I couldn't be happier with my nursery choice and I highly recommend them.

The staff at Puddleduck are amazing. I know that my son is taken care of and happy. He started 8 months ago when he was only a year old and they helped him to settle in very quickly. They pay attention to his dietary needs (dairy free) and always make sure he's got something nice to eat and doesn't
feel left out when other children have dairy treats. They spend a good amount of time outdoors everyday and take a holistic approach to learning, play and wellbeing. I highly recommend Puddleduck Day Nursery.

My daughter who currently attends is our second child to go to Puddleduck Preschool. She can be shy when meeting new people, but she absolutely adores all of the staff and children and can happily be completely herself there. She loves the mixture of outdoor and indoor activities, especially forest
school, messy play and of course play ball. I have witnessed her come on leaps and bounds at Puddleducks, and she literally runs in everyday. This nursery has the perfect balance of learning and playing that has seen both of my daughters flourish. I would highly recommend!

Fantastic nursery with amazing staff. My child was quite unsettled initially starting nursery (as they all are) but the incredible team have done an excellent job in helping him settle. My child is on his fifth week and now he doesn't want to leave when I pick him up! Really value the communication
from the nursery and through the app, knowing how my child has got on with eating and sleep is very helpful. That being said the staff in the room always give a detailed update at pick up on how my child has got on. Particular shout out to the ladybird and caterpillar room team who have done wonders settling my child in and keeping us up to date.

The staff are always attentive to my child and I feel they know my child really well. The staff are also really friendly.
The children have access to a broad range of activities, equipment and resources and all activities and developments are regularly and clearly communicated.
There is a great range
of meals served throughout the week.
Hamdover at the end of the day is brilliant. I couldn't reccomend this nursery more.

Lovely staff.always get a feedback what happened during the day.
When I requested that child need to be helped after toilet time they fullfield my request.
Anything asked they do they're best to make parents happy.
Educating my child very nicely,and always welcoming.
Generally clean nursery:
What
I notice negativity is / what can improve,is that some children's nose are running,(badly)they don't wipe it so they passing they're germs during the day on furnitures and on other children.
Indoor very nice,outdoor space isn't that big ,and I would develop it with equipment/slides and bits.
My child always happy there,despite when leaving him he isn't confident,but he is always given cuddles,so can settle quickly.

Spencers Wood Day Nursery always go above and beyond for both parents and children. My son always comes home happy and excited. He goes into the room with ease and on days that may be a difficult drop off, the staff always ensure he's calm either before I leave or reassure me how he's getting on not
long after drop off. The activities and education they provide for the children are fantastic, as well as the meals, keeping parents in the loop of any changes/upcoming events. I can't fault them. Keep up the amazing work SWDN! A kind, caring and enthusiastic community.

My daughter has been here a month now, and loves it so much, and as parents we are very pleased and happy with the nursery.


All of the staff from management, admin to nursery staff are so welcoming, informative and care deeply about every child in their care.


My daughter is thriving everyday,

and we are always regularly updated on her food, sleep, activities and any issues straight away. The team has helped us with her weaning development and daily updates on how shes been has been so lovely. It has honestly made going back to work so much easier knowing she is in excellent hands.

The nursery is very well managed given all the perils and hardships that go into managing the tiny angels :)
Every time I come to pick up my daughter the nursery staff make it a point to explain her day to me. They really do pay attention to the details of my daughter's days activity which is evident
from their conversation with me. This leaves me with a feeling of how her day has been.
One feedback: The entrance to the nursery which is two doors currently are operated from the inside through a camera based manual check from the staff. I would suggest the nursery hand over a non transferable access card to the parents who can use this to gain entry to the nursery. This especially saves trouble for parents left waiting outside when there is no staff to man the door. Please implement this. It is more secure in terms of combating tailing entries as well.
Overall nursery is a great place thanks to the highly able management and staff. I see an ever improving version of my daughter!

I've had a really positive experience with Collge Town Montessori Nursery. The staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely care about the children's wellbeing and development. The environment is welcoming, safe, and well-organised, with lots of engaging activities that support learning through play. Communication
with parents has been clear and consistent, which gives real peace of mind. I'm very grateful for the support and care provided. The administration office has also been very supportive; whenever I've had enquiries. The management and staff consistently ensure that the safety of the children is a top priority at all times, which is very reassuring. Regularly provide useful information about any risks that may pose a concern to children outside of the nursery.

College Town Montessori is a fantastic nursery.
The team there are amazing and offer the children so many engaging and interesting activities throughout the day.
The nursery are so supportive and responsive if you ever have any questions and consider what each individual child needs development
wise.
My son has been there for over 3 years and loves it. He particularly loves the fab outdoor space they provide and the indoor sandpit.
I would definitely recommend this nursery if you want your child to have fun in a caring environment whilst also learning and developing.

My daughter moved to College Town Montessori after previously being at a nursery. We were apprehensive about the move but it was necessary due to a relocation. Since then, she has settled extremely well and the staff couldn't be more welcoming - so a big thanks to them.
We receive multiple updates
every day so we can see what our daughter is up to.
We have had such a good experience that our new born is already registered.

My son enjoys the activities that are available at the nursery. Especially the activities with sand play and water. The nursery App is also quite interactive. They update photos on a daily basis. Timings of the nursery covers most parent's requirements.

This nursery is amazing and I'd recommend it to any parent! They do so much fun learning with the children. Staff always make such an effort to know the children's names, even in different rooms which makes them feel really welcome. The outside space is amazing and I really like that they get the children
out each day regardless of the weather. The food menu is also a mixture between healthy and what children will eat which is perfect for my son.

My daughter has attended this nursery for 18 months now.
She has created some amazing bonds with the staff and it is clear that the staff are also fond of my little one. She is always happy to go and see everyone. She is well fed and alot of the time has seconds which is nice to see that the children
are fed till they are hungry.
Concerns happen time from time. However the senior team are always there and easily reachable to address anything needed. Thanks for all you do!
