This nursery nurtured our little boy so well. He was adopted shortly before joining and I was terrified that he would not be ready for school 18-months later as he had a long way to go. Fast-foward to today and a confident little boy is leaving pre-school for the last time more than ready for big school. The staff are exceptionally skilled and caring. He was happy every single day- he thrived through the consistency and level of care provided. It takes a village and the Ryan house team were a crucial part of our village can't thank them enough.

When we started looking around nurseries, we knew we had to find the right balance between location and quality. We visited a few, but Ryan House really stood out to us.

The staff were fantastic from the start, and the settling-in sessions were brilliant. As our daughter is quite shy, we were even offered additional sessions to help her settle at her own pace.

I'll never forget dropping her off for the first time and crying as I left. The staff were so supportive, giving me tissues and even making me a coffee!

A year on, we absolutely love Ryan House and the community there. Kelly is wonderful, and the staff in both the baby and toddler rooms have been amazing. There are always lots of activities, plenty to do in the garden and so much thought put into the children's days. The food is fantastic too!

Our daughter has grown so much in confidence and is genuinely happy there. We're so glad we chose Ryan House and would highly recommend it to other parents.

The staff are great, attentive and have time to talk to you. If there are ever any issues they are happy to listen and take feedback on board. Kelly the manager is absolutely great and so knowledgable about elery years development.

We couldn't be happier with the care and support our children have received at Ryan House. The staff are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely care about every child, making them feel happy and secure every day. It's been amazing to watch our children grow in confidence, make friends, and learn so many new skills. We are so grateful to the whole team for everything they do and would highly recommend this nursery to other families.

My son started at Ryan House in April 2024 and just had his last day. I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. The staff are incredibly supportive, caring and always approachable. It's clear that they genuinely want the very best for every child, providing them with excellent learning opportunities and experiences.

My son has absolutely loved Forest School and the little trips and visits they organise have really helped to broaden his experiences and make learning fun and meaningful. The nursery also does a wonderful job of welcoming parents through regular stay-and-play sessions, which has been lovely for building relationships and seeing what the children are doing.

Most importantly, I can see just how much my son has grown in confidence and independence during his time here. He is happy, eager to learn and I truly feel he is ready for the transition to big school thanks to the amazing support and encouragement he has received from everyone at the nursery.

My son has grown so much since starting at Ryan house. His communication skills, independence, and enthusiasm for learning have all improved noticeably. Absolutely fantastic experience. Always go the extra mile and our child always feels great going there. Nutritious food and lots of snacks playful activities which are excellent for his development. Would recommend to any parent.

A fantastic nursery. I'm so impressed by how well managed Ryan House is and how organised and attentive the staff are. There is such a welcoming atmosphere. Our children love all the special activities throughout the year and get opportunities like forest school, outings for lunch for Chinese New Year and practicing sports for sports day. Bit it's the staff who make it a wonderful nursery we're so glad we chose Ryan House for our kids.

I was quite nervous about leaving our little one when returning to work after maternity leave, but the staff have been so warm, kind and reassuring-it has really put me at ease. The team clearly has a great deal of experience and genuinely seem to care which is just makes all the difference.

The baby room is lovely, with its own outdoor space and the whole setting feels safe and nurturing. They're also very flexible, in terms of individual's needs (e.g. naps, meals etc.) which is incredibly helpful.

I am really grateful for all the updates I get throughout the day via the app. I also know the nursery wouldn't hesitate to get in touch if there were ever any issues, communication is great.

Most importantly, my little one loves going, he's excited to arrive in the morning and seem to have so much fun while he's there - he is happy and smiling when we pick him up - I definitely recommend.

The baby room staff were truly exceptional going above and beyond every day to create a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment. It's clear how much they genuinely care about each child, and that gave us so much reassurance as parents.

The transition from the baby room to the toddler room was handled brilliantly. It was smooth, thoughtful, and really tailored to our child's needs, which made a potentially big change feel completely natural and stress-free.

The toddler room continues that same high standard of care, with staff who are attentive, supportive, and encouraging of development and independence. The staff are also very mindful towards cultural and religious beliefs. We really appreciate the healthy and well-balanced menu, which shows a real commitment to the our child's wellbeing.

Overall, we feel incredibly lucky to have found such a wonderful nursery and would highly recommend it to any parent.

Our daughter attends Ryan House and absolutely loves it. She's happy to be dropped off every day and all of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The app is updated throughout the day so we know her schedule and what she's eating, and we get photos of what they're up to regularly. We have never doubted that she is safe and well looked after when at nursery, and seeing her grow such strong relationships with the staff has been lovely.

The nursery is such a happy environment and I never have to worry my son is not in safe hands when I drop him off. He has been attending for about 7 months now and has transitioned between a couple of rooms since starting. Transitions were handled really well, including communication about changes to key workers and even adjusting them based on who he formed more of a bond with. There is a very low staff turnover rate, a number of staff have worked here for many years - this is such a positive and makes this nursery stand out compared to others in the area. Communication is excellent and they are always planning thoughtful things for the children to do.

The Preschool teachers are outstanding and ensured our eldest child was more than ready for school. They provided fun and educational sessions rooted in play. The teaching of phonics is so engaging, well taught and fun! Our child was always coming home singing songs and telling us what she had learnt that day. Learning phonics in an engaging and fun way like this really aligns with reception year and made her transition so much easier and ensured she has thrived at school. They developed and instilled a love of learning and curiosity in our children which we cannot thank them for enough.

Staff is attentive and keeping us informed about our little one progress. I've seen how my lo is learning and settling in at the different rooms he has been transitioning to, sometimes is hard but we feel supported and our concerns are always heard and validated. Overall, a great nursery and even some days my lo doesn't want to leave which shows me he's content, comfortable, and well cared.

We couldn't be happier with Ruddington Day Nursery and all the staff. Our daughter absolutely loves being there, the staff are always so kind and take the time to get to know your child and tell you about their progress and their day. I love the fact there is a big outdoor area and the children do lots of different activities. I also love that they keep the app updated and regularly share photos. I feel very comfortable dropping my daughter off at nursery and it's such a relief to not worry about her when she is at nursery.
