We couldn't be happier with this nursery! The staff are wonderful, really attentive, and always make learning fun. My daughter is picking up so much and developing new skills every day. The care she receives is exceptional, and the management team is by far the best I've seen since she started attending.
Highly recommend!

We highly recommend Dicky Birds. The staff are nurturing, committed and professional. The children are taken on outings on an almost daily basis and there are a variety of activities provided every day. Our younger child took a while to settle and the staff went above and beyond to help her feel at
home and safe.
We feel confident that our children are well cared for, stimulated and happy.

Both of my kids attended Clerkenwell Mount Day Nursery and had a great experience there. Nursery encourages kids to progress with their learning and supports emotional development, like kids will be cooking together taking turns, or setting up hospital role play where kids will be taking turns in being
doctors and patients. Kids benefit from small group sizes and caring staff. The outside space is great and elder kids spend lots of time playing there. They even install a shallow swimming pool for hot summer days. I'd definitely recommend it to local families.
Reply from Charlie G, Nursery Support Team at Clerkenwell Mount Day NurseryThank you for your review of Clerkenwell Mount Day Nursery. We're very pleased to hear that you and your family had a great experience with us! Our nursery team are warm, friendly and incredibly supportive of each child's development. They devise a range of stimulating activities throughout the nursery day which help children build important skills like communication, teamwork and problem-solving. Giving children the chance to spend time in our outside space is so important for both their mental and physical well-being.

I can't thank the team enough for how they look after my 18-month-old and 4-year-old. It's such a nurturing place where you know your children are safe and loved. The staff are the heart of this nursery - they are simply wonderful.
My preschooler is constantly coming home talking about their latest
adventure, whether it's Forest School or a trip out. Management has definitely stepped up recently and the nursery feels like it's in a great place. In terms of childcare and child development, they are top-tier.

Our youngest is currently at Dickybirds (in the baby room) since early January and the staff have been fantastic. They took the time to prepare with set in days in December and he has blossomed since, becoming more confident in social interactions, more interested in trying new foods, and generally
a happy boy when he is picked up each evening. They really go above and beyond and we would have no hesitation to recommending the nursery to other parents. Special shout out to Nahid who is always there with a smile to offer advice and give us feedback on how our son is doing. And to all the baby room and management for supporting us.

My daughter started in the ducklings room and then moved to sparrows and both have been fantastic. The staff is caring and they seem to do lots of activities. We get regular updates about what they've done and what they're going to be doing the next week, which is great as it helps me feel more informed
about my daughter's Day. They seemed to spend lots of time in the garden or in the local park, which I absolutely love. I was a bit worried about her transition from the baby into the toddler room and I wanted to do it a bit earlier as I was having another baby and didn't want that transition at the same time, and the management staff were very accommodating. I think my only criticism would be that some days (particularly around the holidays) the primary staff didn't seem to be there (at least at drop off and pick up). But I think it was a timing thing, as most days the key staff workers we know are there even if others are there as well.
Reply from Charlie G, Nursery Support Team at Dicky Birds Day Nursery and Preschool Wimbledon, Queens RoadThank you for your review of Dicky Birds Day Nursery and Preschool Wimbledon, Queens Road. It's lovely to hear how well your daughter settled into both rooms and how much you appreciate the updates that keep you connected to her week. We're especially glad the team were able to support you with her earlier transition during such an important time for your family, as helping children and families feel at ease through these moments is something we care deeply about. Our team take pride in creating a warm and supportive environment where children can feel confident, happy and ready for each stage of their nursery journey.

The team are committed, friendly and reliable. I recently had a close and unexpected bereavement and they took my child in on the day of the funeral at no extra charge.

Day-to-day, they provide lots of experiences such as painting, garden time, sand play, bubbles, reading as a group and trips to

the park.

They check in on sickness, and highlight issues they see, once leading us to get checked out and ultimately a 2 night hospital stay.

Everything they do is recorded on an app, including what food is eaten, with pictures and occasional key-stage updates. They also send weekly group emails with roundups of the week.

They are active on events too. In nearly a year we have had parents evenings and various themed parties for parents and children so we could meet other parents too.

I can only give 4/5 on management as there have been a few changes at short notice.

Our son loves the nursery, he is so happy to go every morning. He has an allergy and dietary requirements and the nursery are so good with supporting what he needs. There is a really good mix of activities and he is thriving - learning new things all the time. The staff truly care about his well-being

Our son has attended the nursery since around 10 months old and is now 3 years old. It has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. He has formed bonds with so many great teachers there. It's always worrying to let your child go and be in the care of others while you work, but the way he talks about
his days there and the growth we've seen in him prove that he's in a great environment. The management and other staff have changed over time but there has always been good succession planning and the culture has remained strong.

Our team work hard to provide a stable, caring environment where children can grow with confidence and enjoy every stage of their nursery experience.

Clerkenwell Mount Day Nursery has undergone important changes over the last two years. Management has become more mature, which is clearly reflected in the way they deal with matters compared to when our first one joined four years ago. In general, very happy with services. Our second one loves it and
feels the whole staff provides all the support and care he needs!

We highly recommend Dicky Bird Pelham Road. Our child feels genuinely looked after by well-trained, approachable staff and strong, knowledgeable leadership. We appreciate the exceptionally clean environment, nutritious meals, and diverse activities (baking, music, trips to parks and farms). The regular
reports and pictures are excellent.
For constructive feedback, we'd suggest enforcing an indoor shoe policy for hygiene and being more vigilant about ensuring children wear coats when playing outside in the cold. Overall, a fantastic place for high-quality care and education.

Great nursery. Staff is friendly and dedicated to the kids. One of the big aspects is the outdoor space and the amount of time they spend outdoors being creative and moving. All activities are shaped to children's age and they are given the space to choose. The only recommendation would be to share
the meals menu in a better way.

We have had the most wonderful experience at Dicky Birds Brighton Road. The staff are warm and nurturing and always willing to help. I love how often my little one is exposed to new activities in his day. They are very child and play led which is very important to me. He loves going to nursery and that
is such a relief for me as a mum.

Overall we are really happy with this nursery. We were given lots of settling-in days so we felt like we knew the staff before our daughter started. We are regularly updated with what the children are eating and get photos of their day. We like that the small children have their own area with indoor
underfloor heating. It's cosy and spacious for them and the babies are very well looked after. We also like the staff consistency so our daughter gets used to the same people. Lovely staff at this nursery. The only thing we would change is a better mechanism for coming in and out as parents have to wait outside in all weathers.
