I recommend this nursery and staff very highly.
My first child went to Kiddi Caru years ago which I then followed on my second son with a lot of needs. I knew from his first day this nursery will be the world of good for him. My son has done 2 years here and although his progress has been slow he has
learned so much with everyone who works here. I have had so much help and want to thank all the staff. I am very grateful for how much they actually care for my child

Kiddi Caru, Writtle, have gone over and above to accommodate our son. They always give a fantastic handover of his day. He is always very happy to walk in by himself and has a great rapport with his key staff team. The team keep me well informed if our son has bumped his head (this is more than a regular
occurrence as he doesn't slow down!!) When collecting him, documentation is always filled out to great detail. Overall we love Kiddi Caru and the team, their ethos and approach to working with the children and how they get the children engaged in activities at such a young age. We wouldn't go anywhere else.
A note from our daughter who used to attend and is now in Yr2- the teachers are the best.

We couldn't be happier with Kiddi Caru. From the very beginning, the team made our son Zayn feel welcome, safe and excited to learn. The staff are caring, attentive and always take the time to update us on how his day has gone, which gives us real peace of mind.
The activities are varied and thoughtful,
and we've loved seeing how much his confidence and development have come on in such a short time. It's clear the nursery puts a lot of effort into creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

I couldn't be more happier sending my baby girl here. As most mums it's very daunting sending our babies to nursery but honestly it's been an easy adjustment as my little girl has settled in perfectly. All the staff are so lovely and you can tell they really care for the children there. My little girl
is very fond of all the ladies in her room she even calls her key leader mum.
I've also recommended my friends and they now send their babies to the same nursery. Overall I can't fault the nursery at all. One very happy mummy.

This nursery is the best we could of asked for. They have helped our child in every way possible. All the staff have gone above and beyond to help my child and keep us informed of the progress they make each day. Each person is so kind and caring, loving and nurturing that it feels like a second home.

Good experience overall had 2 children attending the nursery at some point! Happy with them. Staff are nice and managers as well. Convenient location for us. Only one slight issue was getting mixed messages from different staff about how happy or sad my 3 year old was when he was in preschool so felt
that communication between staff might not be the best sometimes. Otherwise no issues at all.

Since joining almost a year ago, our 3 year old has excelled in speech, independence and growth! The staff had worked closely with us to bring out the best in our boy and he loves the days he goes in! The team are always very patient and makes the most of each day. The management are always welcoming
every day and show genuine care of each child that walks through the door. Our child's key worker is fantastic and goes above and beyond and he loves going in the see her each day!

Our daughter has been attending this nursery for over a year now, in the under 2s classrooms and our experience has been stellar. She loves it there. Her key workers have been sensational and the entire staff is incredibly attentive. Would highly recommend it, can't fault it.

Toad hall is a fantastic nursery, our little girl absolutely loves it here, the staff are all so lovely, when our little one first started she struggled being dropped off but soon settled in within a couple of months, I've noticed her confidence and development come on leaps and bounds since starting
nursery. We get regular updates of her day which is really reassuring.

I couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery for our daughter. From the moment you walk in, the environment is warm and welcoming, and it's always kept tidy and clean.The staff are truly exceptional - knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely invested in building strong relationships with the children.
My daughter has developed lovely bonds with both the staff and her peers, which speaks volumes about the nurturing atmosphere they've created. The educational programme is varied and addresses all aspects of development with clear feedback from her key carer on individual areas.


The management team are efficient and well-organized, and their communication is always clear and prompt, particularly through the app which makes staying connected so easy.


Most importantly, my daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. She's happy, settled, and thriving there. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to other families

My daughter joined September 2025 (2 years old) and all the staff have been absolutely amazing with her and have worked amazingly well supporting her (and myself) with her additional needs and her journey for receiving a diagnosis.
They've explained everything and answered all my random questions as
well as contacted outside professionals to visit her to help gain more support, also doing referrals to relevant departments and implementing relevant documents for her support within the nursery.
I'm very happy I moved her to Pippins as feel they have gone over and beyond to provide the best possible experience and support.

My child has been attending the nursery for over 2 years and they thoroughly enjoy their days there. We particularly like the outside space and education including forest school, trips out to the local area and extra activities like balancebility, which are all fantastic. All the staff have always been
brilliant with my child and also keeping us informed/up to date with their development there. They have always been patient and understanding which we value, particularly when there have been changes at home (i.e. new siblings), changing rooms/key workers and when we have experienced challenging drop-offs. I have been told that the food is also better than the home equivalent too!

We are proud of our excellent outdoor facilities, which includes Forest School for our older children, and spend plenty of time in the fresh air throughout the nursery day. This is not only beneficial to children's physical health, but helps ignite their imaginations, improve their wellbeing and connect with the natural world. We always serve tasty and delicious meals and snacks to the children to help support healthy growth.

My son loves nursery, he is happy and I can tell the staff really care about him and the other children. They always have great activities for the children, they always try to get them outside each day to play. The food is amazing, and one of the things that helped me choose this nursery was because
their menus were so well planned, and they had a vegan alternative that considered the nutritional needs, and it was printed and available, which meant they had operationalised it already. They have always accomodated our dietry requirement and supported my son who is a picky eater, with safe foods they know he will eat plus offering him something to encourage him to try new foods still. The SENCO is warm and well trained, and all of the nursery staff are friendly and genuinly helpful. I know he is well cared for and safe every day. They are very consistent with applying policies around illness, and allergies etc and communications/updates are regular. My son trusts the nursery practioners.

We couldn't be happier with Kiddi Caru! Ever since starting here 9 months ago, our now 3 year old has thrived. His social skills have come such a long way & he always comes home saying he had a fun day playing with his friends and teachers. He has two food allergies and the nursery has excellent policies
in place to ensure he is safe during mealtimes.


I noticed a review below saying that they stick children in front of the tv rather than active play and that is definitely not our experience. The only time I've ever seen a tablet used was end of day and the children were watching a yoga video actively participating in doing the poses (which I thought was adorable!). The nursery staff are great with providing a wide range of activities as well as free play time for the children. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

My three boys have all been through the nursery over the past 5 years, and I can generally say I will be sad to leave when my youngest moves on at the end of the year.
The whole team are incredible and are what make the nursery such a success. Seeing all the children so keen and happy to go in in
the mornings is a credit to the hard work and effort that goes into all the activities and fun that they provide for all the children and babies across the rooms.
The outside space was a big selling point to me and they have access to this all year round.
I would 100% recommend the nursery.
