I could talk for hours about how much I love Head Start! My son thrived there and now my daughter is exactly the same. The staff are amazing - friendly, kind, supportive, very professional and experienced, and you can really see how much they genuinely care for the children. I feel 100% confident every
day that my daughter is in safe and loving hands. The activities, learning and development opportunities are fantastic - it's obvious that a huge amount of planning and work goes into giving the children the best experiences possible. There is also a real sense of community and belonging for the families, partly due to the extremely warm welcomes, updates and goodbyes we get from all the staff every day! The team recently held a children's first aid session for parents, with a qualified instructor, which was really impressive and helpful - and above and beyond any expectations! All in all, my child could not be happier and neither could I.

Kiddi Caru is a great nursery and my girl loves going there. I can't do a 4.5 hence have to choose a 4. The staff is fantastic and genuinely nice and warm with the kids. I am happy to have chosen Kiddi Caru as the nursery. Though, the only con is with the limited updates on child's activities on a regular
basis. I was hoping to see more of what my daughter is up to in the nursery but that information is slightly limited in terms of photos or any sort of updates in the app. But otherwise it's a great, very safe, clean, and very warm nursery.

Today is my child's last day in nursery, it was a wonderful nursery session for her. she improved a lot since she's with Kiddi Caru team. She enjoyed every moment apart from horrible drop off time, haha. Lovely team & very professional staff, we felt like we're up to date every moment of her nursery
session. They always gave us quick replies & helped every step of admission process.

My son absolutely loves going to nursery! He is always so excited at drop off, and always looks to be having a great time in photos of activities. On days when he doesn't want to get out of bed, I will say to him "Do you want to go see J?" (his favourite staff member) and suddenly he will be very excited
to get up and go. If I could rate the staff 6 stars, I would - they genuinely make KC Caldecotte the best place.


My only gripe, and it's so small in the grand scheme of things, is that I wish the outdoor space was just a bit bigger, as my little boy is like a collie or some other working dog - he is always running around, doing laps! But the nursery is located on the lake, and the staff do take them out on walks to the lake often, so that does make up for it in a way.


Overall, there is nowhere else I would rather my little one be.

They're a fantastic nursery. I've really seen my toddler develop so well whilst being there physically and verbally she really enjoys time with her peers and all her staff members I can tell that she's truly happy and really values her time being spent there we also get great daily update including
photos. The recent report we got of our daughter's progression was brilliant and very detailed.

It is an absolutely wonderful Nursery. The staff are amazing and our kids are happy going in, confident and play well with others.
But
The "airlock" system that they have for drop-off and pick up can be at times very drawn out. The queue can sometimes be 9 children "deep" and we have timed it before
at close to 20 minutes (this was only in a queue of 5!).
They sometimes think on their feet and exchange children at one of the side gates which is just off the hallway. This is really helpful and requires proactive management and I assume a spare set of hands. It happens naturally in warmer months at pickup as kids in garden but does get used in winter too.
We would love them to be more proactive and advise parents that if there is something to discuss, medicine to handover etc that they will be taken to the office. Or if a child isn't ready to leave, they leapfrog the queue with the gate.
We love this place but they need to change the system.

Our son has been enrolled at Kiddi Caru Caldecotte since November 2025 and we couldn't be happier with the service we've received. Everyone is so friendly, the setting is excellent and he has thrived. His confidence has improved so much and he's developed at such a fast rate since joining the nursery,
we are so impressed. All of the caregivers are exceptional and we're really happy our son is in such a fun, safe and educational environment.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. Since my child started, he has been genuinely happy, he goes in smiling every morning and leaves smiling at the end of the day, which says everything. Even though he is usually a picky eater, he eats really well here thanks to the varied and well-thought-out
menu.
We receive live updates throughout the day via the app, which is very reassuring and keeps us feeling connected. The teachers helped him settle in incredibly quickly and are all so kind, caring and attentive. The reception staff are always approachable, available for any queries and very quick to respond.
I honestly have nothing negative to say. It's such a relief going to work knowing my child is safe, well cared for and truly happy. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

Really positive experience with the nursery. Staff are always polite, positive and helpful. Always greeting parents and children with a smile. They really are connected with the community and this is also noticeable by the fact that children adore to go to the nursery.
My child loves to go there and
I know he is really being looked after. From the stories he tells us, to the way he looks when I pick him up. I also love that the children have different fun activities planned throughout the each term. Like visiting the local Fire Station for example, Forest school, the local Church or having a special visitor to perform, or show something interesting to the children. I mean is absolutely incredible the amount of dedication, commitment, professionalism and pure love to what they doing and to the children! I'm feeling so grateful I have picked Head Start nursery for my child!

After viewing multiple nurseries in my area and not meeting my expectations, I decided to travel further out and I came across Head Start and I knew my son would thrive in this environment as soon as we arrived.
The care and attention management and all staff pour into the children everyday is 10/10.
It's a huge step trusting anyone with your child and I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. Thank you for giving my son the best start in life and now he is ready for Primary school all thanks to you all!! We will miss you!!

Such an amazing nursery to send your child(ren) to . The staff are always very warm and welcoming. My child started Headstart in October 2024 after being at a previous setting , and wow , what a difference . I felt he wasn't involved as much or learning as much at the previous nursery , he came to Headstart
and he's come on leaps and bounds. He came with a lot of areas that needed improvement such as toilet training and speech and language, the wonderful staff at Headstart were there every step of the way to insure my child had the best help possible . They weren't just there for him and helped him get school ready , but helped me through some tough times . I'm absolutely gutted that my child wasn't there for longer than 9 months , but it's been the best 9 months for us both . I see a real positive change in my child since coming to this nursery and I'm gutted it's time for him to leave .

Every member of staff is so incredibly kind, understanding and supportive. I was so anxious when my daughter started nursery and the staff listened to each and every concern i had and made me feel at such ease. They have picked up my daughter's routine, ques and likes/dislikes so well and are genuinely
happy to see her when she arrives. The staff take the time to keep us so well informed and updated using their wonderful App. The admin and registration process was handled so smoothly and delicately, with vital information provided to me that i wouldn't have known otherwise. My daughter has developed exponentially since starting nursery and we are stunned at least once a week with a new skill or word she has learned. My daughter is exposed to a wonderful variety of food from the menu, more so than she would ever have experienced without the nursery. I am so very thankful to Caldecotte Kiddi Karru

From the first day that my girls started this school, they have had nothing but positive things to say and that make me as a mother feel at ease when I'm at work. In addition, their attention to detail and their transparency with my involvement when my child is unwell or has had a fall for example
is commendable. I feel though I am there at that moment I feel present.


The fact that my children ask to go to school on days when they aren't in school is a reflection of their hard-work and dedication to each child .


Lastly, I've noticed that since being there my 4 year old's emotional expression has increased and my 2 year old is utilising more words and is confident in play. I am appreciative of their input x

We can't speak highly enough of Kiddi Caru Caldecotte. We have been part of the family for over seven years now with both our children starting when they were three months old. From the moment we started we felt a warmth from everyone working there, they've looked after our tiny babies all the way through
to them leaving the nest and going to reception at school. They've guided us through the early challenges of weaning and toilet training, when we didn't have a clue what we were doing. They've helped the children to be inquisitive in their learning and independent. They've guided them through emotional ups and downs with the love and care as if they were their own. The attention to detail has always been so impressive, the homely touches of making their own play equipment like mud kitchens and the entrance to the nursery following the seasonal themes has always felt above and beyond. A lovely nursery with lovely people making it feel like a home from home.

My daughter started nursery last year. All the staff have been really helpful and communicating to me throughout the day how she is doing! She has settled really well and loves going in to the nursery.

Walnut Tree is a very good nursery in our opinion, they provide constant feedback about our child throughout the day, always respond to my messages and give a full summary of our child at the end of the day as well. I also feel that they are very good at managing my child when she is unwell and they
have a thorough process of checking on them throughout the day. They have also been very helpful in assisting with adhoc requests.

I cannot say enough good things about this nursery! My son started at nine months old, and his progress has been truly remarkable. From the start, the staff have been warm, nurturing, and incredibly supportive, making the transition smooth for both my child and our family. The environment is safe, welcoming,
and filled with engaging activities that promote learning and development. I have seen great improvements in his social skills, confidence, and communication. He has developed a real love for story-time and interactive play, thanks to the fantastic team.
What truly sets this nursery apart is the genuine care and attention given to each child. The practitioners have been amazing at keeping the children safe, ensuring a secure and nurturing space where both children and parents feel at ease. Their commitment to safety, well-being, and high-quality care is evident in everything they do. If you want a nursery that feels like a second home, I highly recommend this one!

My son has been going to this nursery for 4 months and I am so happy we chose to send him to Caldecotte. The staff are amazing with him and also supported myself and him with the settling process. He settled so well and much faster than I expected, this I believe is down to the staff and how he has
been treated and cared for by all that work here. He is happy when he is dropped off and is happy to go to the girls, he is happy when he is collected and he is well fed and loves his food. He has made friends which is lovely to see on the regular updates I receive on the app I have. The nursery has an amazing garden for him to explore and also has lots of different resources for him to play with. The rooms of the nursery are open and bright and have lots of different, natural everyday resources to entice play and imagination. My son has become so confident and has progressed so much since he has been here and I cannot thank the management and staff enough for everything they do.
