First Place Nursery Beaconsfield

I highly recommend any parent to place their child here. You will not regret it.

My daughter loves going in every morning, and my son still holds very fond memories of his time a nursery and learnt some essential life skills which have stayed with him into his school journey. I would highly recommend this nursery.

It's the little touches that First Place partake in that also make a difference to us parents; nursery photos, mothers day breakfast, etc etc really has set it apart from other nurseries for me and I hope this environment continues.

She will be starting school this September, taking with her so many lovely memories from the nursery, and I'm truly grateful for everything the nursery has done for her.

My baby has recently started at First Place. I was nervous being a first time mum and him being so little. But the nursery were very supportive and he loves going. We are regularly updated throughout the day on the app and also get feedback at pick up. The new building is beautiful and I love that he's able to play outside so much.

My son had a good experience overall at First Place. The teachers were warm and nurturing and created a safe space for him to learn and grow. The outdoor space is extensive, and they ensure the children spend plenty of time outdoors. Towards the end, there was a fair bit of disruption with staff leaving suddenly, and the communication on this was poor, which was quite unsettling when children were attached to their key worker. Our main frustrations were my child being pushed to be potty trained earlier than he was ready, so that he could be moved into a different room earlier than expected, without any collaborative conversations with us. This caused a lot of stress and the process took much longer.

They wouldn't allow him to graduate with his peers, even though he was leaving for a pre-school, which I thought was insensitive, when other nurseries allow them to even if not starting reception. Overall, it was a positive experience, but those few things created some frustrations.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience for our daughter at First Place. From the start, the staff were loving, caring, and approachable, building a strong rapport with her that made her settling-in process smooth. She was excited to go each day, and we saw the positive impact it had on her development.

The nursery's commitment to broadening children's horizons was also impressive. They engaged the kids in activities related to global events, whether religious or sporting, which sparked curiosity and awareness. My daughter still talks about these experiences today.

Additionally, the staff helped her grow independently, supporting her through potty training and encouraging school readiness. The focus on life skills, like dressing herself, was invaluable.

Overall, we're incredibly grateful for the nurturing environment at First Place. It made a big difference, and I highly recommend it to any parent seeking a caring, enriching space for their child.

The staff are what make this nursery outstanding. The professionalism, loving care and energy from the staff is 100% there. Each day they have carefully thought through different activities and weekly themes which means so much learning through play. There has been very little staff turnover in the years my son has been there which is so important for little ones to see the same faces and build up happy relationships with their teachers. I can go to work knowing my son is in trusted hands. In addition to the usual daytime hours, we've also had options of attending evening sessions helping with school readiness and potty training etc. Any issues are no problem, they've helped us no end with potty training and also with investigating a possible dairy intolerance. Practical things - easy onsite parking, it's well away from any main roads, they wear uniform so it doesn't matter if they get messy, regular updates on the app and loads of energetic outside play everyday.

The staff at First Place are brilliant. They really get to know each and every child - a benefit of a smaller nursery - and are adept at adapting to different children's needs and preferences. We particularly like the emphasis placed on outdoor play, with open access to the garden most of the time for children to play outside. Our child has forged some great friendships and has developed hugely in terms of confidence and skills. Thank you to the First Place team

Both of our children are at this nursery. I feel relaxed during the day knowing they are properly cared for and happy. The building is shabby but if you look beyond this, the staff are lovely. Something that stands out to me is that they are all friends and socialise outside of work. A happy team makes for happy children.

My little girl joined First Place Nursery when she was 17 months and we have been so happy with the care she has received ever since. The staff are amazing with a real nurturing nature and we have found my daughter has a great relationship with all of them. We are well-informed about what she gets up to with regular check-ins regarding her development within the nursery setting.

Our fifteen month old daughter has joined the First Place Nursery Beaconsfield in November 2020. The staff are very friendly, approachable and caring. They have this special connection with every child they look after. The activities that they do with the kids are very engaging and stimulating. Our daughter absolutely loves being part of this nursery and always comes back home with a big smile on her face. She feels very comfortable with the members of staff. It's amazing to see how mush she's developed since she joined the nursery. This is an amazing place for your child!

I have had both of my children attend First Place since 2015 and now my niece also attends, and cannot fault them at all. The staff are lovely, the setting is great with so much nature around it really is a great nursery!

My daughter has been attending Beaconsfield First Place Nursery, only since December 2020, and I can tell she already really loves it here. We literally viewed this Nursery and didn’t need to view any others, as we just knew it was the right environment for our daughter. The Manager was very engaging and the staff are really supportive and give regular and insightful feedback on my daughter's development and progress. My daughter gets so excited every morning on the way to the Nursery and asks to go there at weekends, which makes me feel very confident and assured this is the best Nursery we could have possibly chosen. We are looking forward to seeing how our daughter progresses and flourishes here, with the very capable support and guidance from the lovely team.

My daughter attended First Place Nursery Beaconsfield from the age of 1 year up until she started school at 4.5 years old. I can't recommend the nursery highly enough. The staff always came across friendly and engaged incredibly well with the children. They always had time to talk if you needed advice and were caring to each individual child and their differing needs. My daughter settled well at 1 year old and the calm but fun environment of the baby room was perfect for her. My daughter has been at school now for 6 months but still talks about the staff and children that she met there and the fun things they used to do. First Place gave her an incredible start for school. She has settled well at school and is flying along without a care in the world. She started reading as if she had known it all her life and we could tell that it was because of the great teaching that First Place gave to her in the pre-school room. Just go take a look, meet the staff and the superiority is obvious.

The manager is always on hand to talk, she is kind and caring, she clearly has an excellent rapport with both the children and the staff.

Most importantly the staff every single member are attentive, greatly qualified, kind and quite frankly super hero's. We cannot ask for better people to love, guide and educate our little ones. This is a wonderful nursery which we would choose every time.
