Kings Hill Day Nursery and Preschool is specially designed to support your child’s wellbeing, learning and development from the age of 3 months to 5 years. This purpose-built setting is in the heart of Kings Hill, making it a convenient location for parents working or living in the area.
Each of the seven rooms is airy and spacious, with facilities and activities developed for the age and stage of your child. The team nurture and encourage the children, using their interests as the basis for learning. Building blocks, heuristic play and kitchen role-play areas encourage imaginative learning, while messy play and arts support children’s creative skills and fine motor skills. The Under 2s room includes separate sleep and sensory rooms, enabling the experienced staff team to meet children’s individual routines. Babies are supported in walking, early phonics and motor skills, whilst older children learn early literacy and mathematics that supports their school readiness.
Kings Hill nursery has two refurbished gardens that offer a large outdoor space for children to explore, discover and play. From tricycles and a climbing frame to agility equipment, such as hoops, balls and bats, there are plenty of activities to help develop their balance and coordination. They even have a shaded seating area for those warmer sunny days.
The nursery in Kings Hill is right on the Southern edge of the business park, with its own large car park making drop-off and pick-up easier for you.
It is an all-inclusive nursery, which means meals, snacks, milk and nappies are all included in your fees.
The highly qualified team helped to secure a Good rating in their latest Ofsted inspection (December 2017).

I cannot speak highly enough of Bright Horizons (Kings Hill) and the incredible team who make it such a special place. From the moment we walked in, we knew we had found the perfect environment for our daughters. We first started using the nursery in August 2020 when our eldest was nine months old, and we have continued ever since. Now, our youngest is in her final stage before starting school.
The staff are warm, caring, and truly invested in each child's happiness and development. They go above and beyond to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe space where little ones thrive. My daughter loves her time here, and seeing her excited to go in every day says it all.
The activities are stimulating and well-suited to their age, fostering creativity, social skills, and a love of learning. Communication is excellent, with regular updates and photos via the app.
I feel so lucky to have found such an outstanding nursery and couldn't recommend it more highly to any parent.

Our son moved up to a new room in January, and all the staff nembers in his new room were so understanding and comforting to him. He settles almost immediately and enjoys going back. The stimulation he recieves is brilliant and we notice a difference in the way he plays at home now as well - he will always find something to do. She struggled at first and the team at the nursery were so patient with her, they took time to work out her personality and what would make her transition easier. She has grown in confidence enormously during her time, she now loves her nursery days! The nursery nurses seem to genuinely care about her and know her well, I feel totally happy with her care and safety at the nursery and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to other parents. The outside space is amazing and they get to go out most days which is great.

My son has been attending Bright Horizons since he was 2 years old (now 4) I literally wouldn't have the words or enough space to even explain how amazing his experience has been. They all care about the children so much and they all always say hello to us when we walk in. My son has additional needs and they have always been so supportive, to both my son and me, and also his development. I've seen him progress and achieve things I could have only once dreamt of and this is because of how much time and effort they invest in the children. I know he is in safe hands and his key worker is out of this world. I get such fantastic updates on the app and love seeing what they get up to!! Bright Horizons Kings Hill has always been a great place for my daughter, the staff really encourage the children with all aspects of their learning and encourages the children's development, both with other children and by themselves. The staff also build bonds with the children, it is very comforting to see that they do actually care for the children and that the children trust them. Highly recommend this nursery and preschool.

I passed my BTEC Level 3 diploma in Nursery nursing in 1995 and have worked in the early years sector for 22 years. I also have a Level 3 in adult education, management, training and mentoring.
Where have I come from?
I was a Children’s Service Manager for Nuffield Health from 1998 to 2019. I managed the nursery, creche, afterschool clubs and holiday camps. I delivered training for the other 12 nurseries within the company and supported the opening of new nurseries within the business. I have worked with Kent County Council in their Early Help; this role supported vulnerable families and children.
My Family and home life
I live with my husband, 2 boys and my 3rd child, Trigger the dog.
I was raised in Bromley, and when I had my children, I moved to Maidstone.
What is my passion?
I have 2 passions; my main passion is my boys and their dedication to becoming the next professional footballer. I attend training and matches come rain or shine, and I even know the offside rule! My other passion is early years and providing every child with the best opportunities to build a foundation to achieve.
