Bright Horizons Swanscombe Day Nursery and Preschool

Another incident happened where a nonverbal child bit my child and staff member made it sound like it was ok as the other child couldn't communicate. All I got was sorry every time. My child is now at another and not had one problem since January.

Since then we have also sent our 1 year old daughter early this year, who settled in amazingly from day one and has progressed massively since being there, she always comes out with a huge smile. Would recommend Bright Horizons Swanscombe to anyone that wants a nursery that goes above and beyond.

Choosing a nursery for your first child is incredibly daunting, but from the very first day, bright horizon swanscombe has been absolutely wonderful. As a first-time mum, I was anxious about settling, but the team supported us both so well. They made the transition seamless, offering me reassurance and keeping me updated, which really helped put my mind at ease.They truly could not do enough for my son. The staff took the time to understand his personality, his likes, and his interests, using them to encourage his learning and development. It is wonderful to see him so engaged, knowing they tailor activities to what he loves.The bond that him and his key person have formed is beautiful. It is clear she truly cares for him, and this has created a brilliant, trusting partnership between us. Communication is excellent, and I always feel fully involved in his development. They have been fantastic in supporting his transition into his new room, ensuring he felt safe and prepared. Thank you.

My son started Bright Horizon in Jan 26, he transitioned from childminder to a busier classroom setting. I was a bit reluctant at first with the transition if he would cope but the staff at Craylands put all my fears at ease. He had settling sessions which really helped so by the time he actually started the faces were already familiar. He loves it there the staff are all so welcoming and wonderful, im always kept informed and knows hes in safe hands. my son even wants to go in on a saturday and Sunday so I know he enjoys going. September he will be off to school and I know he will miss them all very much. I can not thank everyone there enough, your all truly amazing.

The management team have also been very supportive and communicate well, which I really appreciate.

She has a number of health conditions and so we were very anxious about leaving her in someone's care but from the beginning all the staff have been incredible. They have taken great care of her, following her care plan throughout and we have always been made to feel heard. She has loved going to nursery every day and formed great relationships with a key workers and other children. I can't recommend bright horizons in Swanscombe enough

A special mention to the Baby Room 2 team and Megan from management, who is always on hand to help and support.

My child started nursery after her 1st birthday. She has settled in really well and loves going in to nursery. She has learnt so much and has picked up lots of new skills. Her key worker and other staff in her room are attentive and keep us updated. The app is really great and I keep an eye on this when at work. I love seeing pictures of what thy get up to during the day. They keep the children active and my daughter loves it. My daughter is a picky eater but still manages to eat at nursery which a really good thing. I will highly recommend this nursery and I am very pleased i made this choice for my daughter.

I have a young baby in Swanscombe nursery and the ladies there have been amazing. He is doted on by everyone (not just designated carers), they are always so helpful & supportive in every way, it feels very good to know he is in a safe space with amazing staff. He was very young when he started therefore I was quite nervous but his confidence and abilities have come on exponentially since he's even there.

Can't recommend the nursery enough, my LO loves it so much which is more than I ever expected and I really have no mum guilt as she has the time of her life every day!

My 18 month old daughter only started at Bright Horizons Swanscombe Day Nursery and Preschool in September 2024 but has already grown to love her time there. As a family, we are grateful to have been welcomed so warmly by all members of staff, especially the team in her room! To know our daughter is loved and cared for is all we could have hoped but the staff have honestly exceeded all of our expectations! We can't wait to watch her journey here!

Great nursery!

My son has been with Swanscombe Bright Horizons for about 2 years and when he started he was quite delayed due to COVID. The nursery assured me I wasn’t alone and since then he has come on leaps and bounds they have taken their time even though they are so busy to get the best out of my son and I couldn’t be more appreciative for their support advice and love they have for him! I will be sad to leave in September but they have given my son the best possible start in life!

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was 1 and is very close to graduating from preschool. She made lots of friends but the bond she formed with all her key workers from the beginning has been so lovely to watch. There is an app in which you can see what the children are up to and at preschool level especially, it’s amazing to see the topics they learn about. She comes home and shares new words she learnt in French, and the same words in Makaton (sign language) and I’m constantly blown away at the knowledge and variety of things she picks up at Bright Horizons.

All of the staff are absolutely fantastic and I feel extremely confident knowing that she is going to be provided with the best care whilst she attends.

My kid goes to preschool and I can see a lot of change in her. At first, she used to cry to go to nursery but the staff handled it so well now she happily goes to nursery. I can see her skills improving a lot and she enjoys it well. I will definitely recommend Bright Horizons Swanscombe Day Nursery and Preschool to others.

My son has been here just gone two months and we have seen significant developments since. The nursery is perfect for him. He runs in daily. He loves it so much he gets upset that he can’t come in on the weekends! Just a testament of the incredible job the staff are doing. The teachers he has are 10/10. They pay so much attention to him but most importantly, they are intentional. As first-time parents, it can be a bit nerve-wracking leaving your child elsewhere but we get constant updates on their activities, food intake and nap times. Simply a well-run nursery. We love it here.

Wonderful staff and nursery, my daughter was a member at the Dartford branch and I moved over to this one and I have seen a massive difference! The staff are so warm and welcoming and my daughter has grown so much in confidence and had a lovely relationship with her key workers! She really enjoyed going in and they provide regular info in the apps with photos of all the activities she does so as a parent I know what she is doing and learning! Thank you all for your wonderful hard work.

My child seems to enjoy coming to the nursery and has made a nice little group of friends. The staff are all lovely and my child always speaks highly of them. Would be great to get some more real-time updates as I like to discuss what’s happened in the day on the way home.
