Bright Horizons Basildon Day Nursery and Preschool

I'm am so happy I found this nursery and will recommend to everyone I know!

Choosing this nursery for our child was the best decision. What he received in terms of care and knowledge was more than what is expected from a different from family environment. My son adores everyone from teachers to managers. Everyone always greets us with smiles, sometimes when my son is not in the mood, they manage to cheer him up, when he is upset they hug him and give him so much love. He is fully prepared for school, they taught him to be curious and to want to know more and more about the world around us.I will be always grateful to them that gave my son this start in his life.

Bright Horizons Basildon Day Nursery is fantastic nursery. The teachers have been amazing. My son started in the baby and has transitioned through to toddler room and soon to be in toddler room 24-36. It has been as amazing journey for my husband, my son and I. He has grown to this beautiful boy and all thanks to the amazing teachers who have mums for him. We have some wonderful activities from Christmas to Easter and during Mother's Day. My son's development has really blossomed and it's all thanks your excellent roles in his nursery life. Thank you all at the Basildon day nursery.

Both of my daughters have attended this nursery since they were 1 y/o, and we've had a truly fantastic experience. My eldest started in 2022, and my youngest joined in 2024. As we now say goodbye, I want to express how grateful we are for the care and support our girls received. The staff are warm, attentive and genuinely nuturing. We always felt informed with open and friendly communication. If you're looking for a nursery where your child will be truly seen, supported and loved, this is the place.

The staff in Bright Horizons Basildon Day Nursery and Preschool created a very friendly and stimulating environment for little ones to grow and develop. My daughter joined this preschool one year ago as a shy little girl worried about social interactions. Today is her last day and she is walking out as a confident person who created beautiful friendships and memories. I truly believe this preschool gave her wings and now she is ready to fly. I can't thank them enough for that.

All staff are friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile for the children and families. So pleased we swapped the nursery for my child. My child’s always happy and excited to go to the nursery to see her friends and teachers.

When I moved to the area most of my anxiety surrounded on finding a nursery that my son could smoothly settle in from his last nursery. From the moment I walked in and was given a tour, I was put very much at ease and was so happy with the facility and the provisions given. This nursery is a safe space for my son and he loves coming here so much. It's like his extended family. He looks forward to seeing his teachers and his friends and I am so happy with his development in the setting. He has really learnt so much and developed so well. As a working mum in the city, I can really appreciate them being the extra hands I need during his day. My son will soon be off to preschool which will be a major change but I appreciate all the plans the nursery has put in place to make it a smooth transition. My youngest son is set to join the nursery later this year and I feel so lucky and at peace to have gotten a space as this is one of the best nurseries in the area.

Each day my daughter has such a busy day doing loads of fun and creative activities, and it's lovely to receive photo updates through the app. Thank you to all the staff at Basildon Bright Horizons!

The staff have been brilliant throughout and always go above and beyond.

My daughter has enjoyed every part of coming to the nursery for 3 years. She has made good friends and learned a lot since coming. She has always loved every teacher she has had. They do lots of lovely activities.

All staff are very welcoming, the little one comes home happy, smiling, and with plenty of stories every day. She has also gained so much confidence I'm her writing, ready, and speaking thanks to what she's been learning at pre-school.

I love bright horizons and so do my daughters. They have been here since they were two. The team is so friendly, they genuinely care and our daughters have progressed so much. We recommend Bright Horizons to anyone.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to preschool here. She has come up through 3 of the 4 rooms and has always settled in brilliantly. We have had some ups and downs with my daughter through illnesses and trips to hospital and the team here have always looked after her brilliantly and been very supportive. She is thriving here and enjoys every day she comes.

Great nursery and the staff always have a smile on their face and are very friendly and professional. They try as much to cater for the children's needs. My daughter does well when I take her out with other family and friends kids, and this is due to what she is being taught at nursery.

Had a really great experience with Bright Horizon overall. My daughter is happy, and we have noticed a great deal of improvement in so many areas! She is well supported, and all members of staff are helpful and empathic towards both my daughter as an individual and us as a family!

The staff in the toddler room are brilliant, thank you, you can’t fault them. The reception staff and the rest of the staff are very good too and everyone is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. My child has come on such a long way since starting at nursery and it’s thanks to everyone at the nursery.
