Bright Horizons Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery and Preschool cares for children aged from three months to five-years-old. The spacious nursery has light and airy rooms with a home-from-home feel that helps children to transition from home to nursery with ease.

Children grow in confidence at the nursery and learn new skills with the support of trained and caring staff. Staff are attentive to children's needs and give them the chance to learn through child-led play.

My children have been at this nursery for a year and a half now and I'm very satisfied with the nursery. The staff are caring and supportive, and my children are very happy there. The activities they do are amazing and different every day, which keeps things fun and engaging. The rooms and outdoor space
are also adorable and well set up for the children. On the rare occasion when I've had a concern, the manager, has always been very approachable and quick to find a solution. It really gives me peace of mind knowing that any issues are dealt with efficiently and thoughtfully.

We've had a great experience with the nursery so far. Our son started when he was 10 months and we have seen him flourish in that time (he is now 19 months). We get a sense that the nursery staff genuinely care for the children and they provide a stimulating environment in which they can grow. I would

Clean and cosy rooms with the best teachers. My daughter has had a long settling because she is very attached of me and she is breast feeding, but the teachers have done a very good job and after 3 months she loves to go there, she started to eat well, to walk and to say words, the things she has refused
to do at home.

After researching nurseries for my son, Bright horizon Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery and Preschool was the first choice from the moment I stepped into the building. The staff are super friendly and my son's key worker is amazing! Since working with her, he has come out of his shell and really loves exploring.
The atmosphere at the nursery is amazing and I cannot fault them.

The staff are all very friendly and supportive. I cannot thank them more for their hard work and dedication. It's great that they have recruited more staff and I'm pleased with how my children are developing now. My only request would be for children to be moved to the next class if the child is showing
that they need more advanced input instead of waiting for the child to turn a certain age before progressing to the next room.

Absolutely love this nursery for my son, he is so happy there with all the fascinating activities which he would never be able to do if he was at home. I am always amazed at all the ideas the staff come up with each day for the children to play with, it's the best kind of sensory overload using all-natural
products. All the staff there take such good care of my son, I know he is well cared for and since he started 6 months ago his speech and development have really come along. Couldn't praise this nursery enough, it's also very clean, and has lots of variety with the meals giving my son a lot of healthy nutrients.

I cannot sing the praises of all the staff at Bright Horizon Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery and Preschool enough. These trained professionals care so diligently for the young children in their care. My daughter joined this nursery in July, as a first time mum returning to work, leaving my 9 month old in
the care of strangers was so overwhelming. But, the manager and her staff went above and beyond to settle her in and put me at ease. My daughter has additional needs and there's nothing these ladies won't do to support me and her, they grasp any opportunity to learn more about her needs and make sure all the staff are aware and trained. My baby girl is so happy there and thriving, her development has come on leaps and bounds thanks to this wonderful team of professionals. Their care and kindness to my baby and me leaves me speechless. I am so grateful to have found this nursery.

We are so happy with our choice of this nursery. We saw several nurseries having just moved to the area and immediately had a good feeling about the nursery and staff, as did our son as he was reaching to be held by the staff on our tour! Our son is thriving in this environment and we can see the positives
it makes to his development at home. The staff care for the children greatly and they really get to know and understand the children individually. Communication is great and everyone is friendly and helpful.

My child started just before he turned 8 months and as a first time parent, I was so nervous to start him at nursery. The team at Bright Horizons Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery and Preschool are amazing! Not just the practitioners in my child's room but across the whole setting. I felt welcome as soon as
I stepped foot into the building and my son and I were acknowledged by everyone in every room. The ladies in the baby room really do adore my son and it feels like home from home for him. The management team are strong and the manager is the best in the game! Her knowledge and attitude is outstanding and you see the reflection of her practice, around the nursery as the team is strong and the practice flows throughout. I couldn't recommend Buckhurst Hill enough and it's evident that my child is being looked after and taught well as he has learnt so much within four months.

Ever since our son started Bright Horizons Buckhurst Hill in April, he has come out of his shell and developed in so many ways. The staff are all so welcoming and have become mine and my husband's friends and we feel so safe leaving him there. Our son's key worker is incredible and she's helped him
develop his speaking and behaviour and she works with him each week and he is excited to see her when he comes in! All the staff members in his room love and care for all the children and I see the dedication they put in week in week out!

My son started nursery in March and loves it! Things I love about Buckhurst Hill:
Staff - amazing people work here, who clearly love their jobs and the children. Every staff member knows the name of every child - reassuring from a safety perspective. All the ladies in my son's room are genuinely happy
to see him each day. Management are hands-on and frequently helping to care for the children.
Safeguarding - in the first week of my little one starting, I was stopped at the door by a member of staff whom I hadn't met before. I waited until she found a member of the team from my son's room to verify I was who I said I was. It's reassuring the staff take safeguarding seriously.
Nutrition - my little one has some special dietary needs, which are well-catered for by the chef. Food is interesting and varied.
Activities - the little ones are always trying new activities the variety of which I couldn't dream of recreating at home! They are often in the garden, exploring the outdoors.

Our son has been at the nursery since it opened. We moved our son from another nursery and within one week there was a difference, he was much happier and learning new things. He loves getting up and going in the morning. We, as parents, couldn’t ask for better, the staff are amazing, they always have

A fantastic new nursery in Buckhurst Hill, with vetted and very experienced staff. Our son started there a couple of months ago and there's a clear distinction between Bright Horizons Buckhurst Hill and the nurseries some of his 'baby friends' are going to in the area. Other nurseries are dated, have
very little by way of updates for parents, and in some cases have babies that are still unhappy weeks in. Our son took to this nursery super quickly - he's loved by the nursery staff and reciprocates. The attention they give him is clear - he comes back having learned all sorts of new tricks and words, something that keeps surprising us. The app is brilliant - we can see when he's eaten, slept, what he's eaten, and get a few photos daily.
Absolutely recommend. Management are lovely too - they know every single baby's name and are nearly always seen helping out with the kids too.

Our boy started at the Bright Horizons Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery and Preschool when they opened and was with them for almost six months before transferring to a nursery closer to home - we originally couldn't get into another Bright Horizons nursery due to over subscription so chose to go to Buckhurst
Hill until a space became free. From the start, the team at Buckhurst Hill were amazing. My boy has hypermobility and they have been attentive and caring, going above and beyond to help with his gross motor skills development. The nursery is beautiful with an amazing set-up. The manager and all the staff made our transition to nursery so easy. Thank you all so much and we will have to come back and visit soon.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Tiffany, the Nursery Manager, has a deep passion for childcare and has dedicated her career to the field. She began her journey at Bight Horizons Chigwell as a Nursery Practitioner, advancing to Deputy Manager and then Assistant Manager. In April 2020, she took the next step in her career as Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons Heron Quays.


Tiffany has supported several nurseries, including Chigwell Valley Meadows and Tabard Square, and is passionate about creating enabling environments where children can learn and play. She is committed to staff training and development and ensures she stays current with new legislation and regulations. Her extensive experience includes serving as a Health and Safety Officer, working as a SENCO, and contributing to successful Ofsted inspections.


Tiffany looks forward to warmly welcoming families to the nursery.

Amy is the Deputy Manager with over 12 years of experience in early years education. She has built a career in childcare through a combination of professional qualifications and personal experiences.
