Bright Horizons Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery and Preschool

My children have been at this nursery for a year and a half now and I'm very satisfied with the nursery. The staff are caring and supportive, and my children are very happy there. The activities they do are amazing and different every day, which keeps things fun and engaging. The rooms and outdoor space are also adorable and well set up for the children. On the rare occasion when I've had a concern, the manager, has always been very approachable and quick to find a solution. It really gives me peace of mind knowing that any issues are dealt with efficiently and thoughtfully.

We've had a great experience with the nursery so far. Our son started when he was 10 months and we have seen him flourish in that time (he is now 19 months). We get a sense that the nursery staff genuinely care for the children and they provide a stimulating environment in which they can grow. I would highly recommend the nursery.

Clean and cosy rooms with the best teachers. My daughter has had a long settling because she is very attached of me and she is breast feeding, but the teachers have done a very good job and after 3 months she loves to go there, she started to eat well, to walk and to say words, the things she has refused to do at home.

After researching nurseries for my son, Bright horizon Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery and Preschool was the first choice from the moment I stepped into the building. The staff are super friendly and my son's key worker is amazing! Since working with her, he has come out of his shell and really loves exploring. The atmosphere at the nursery is amazing and I cannot fault them.

The staff are all very friendly and supportive. I cannot thank them more for their hard work and dedication. It's great that they have recruited more staff and I'm pleased with how my children are developing now. My only request would be for children to be moved to the next class if the child is showing that they need more advanced input instead of waiting for the child to turn a certain age before progressing to the next room.

Absolutely love this nursery for my son, he is so happy there with all the fascinating activities which he would never be able to do if he was at home. I am always amazed at all the ideas the staff come up with each day for the children to play with, it's the best kind of sensory overload using all-natural products. All the staff there take such good care of my son, I know he is well cared for and since he started 6 months ago his speech and development have really come along. Couldn't praise this nursery enough, it's also very clean, and has lots of variety with the meals giving my son a lot of healthy nutrients.

I cannot sing the praises of all the staff at Bright Horizon Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery and Preschool enough. These trained professionals care so diligently for the young children in their care. My daughter joined this nursery in July, as a first time mum returning to work, leaving my 9 month old in the care of strangers was so overwhelming. But, the manager and her staff went above and beyond to settle her in and put me at ease. My daughter has additional needs and there's nothing these ladies won't do to support me and her, they grasp any opportunity to learn more about her needs and make sure all the staff are aware and trained. My baby girl is so happy there and thriving, her development has come on leaps and bounds thanks to this wonderful team of professionals. Their care and kindness to my baby and me leaves me speechless. I am so grateful to have found this nursery.

We are so happy with our choice of this nursery. We saw several nurseries having just moved to the area and immediately had a good feeling about the nursery and staff, as did our son as he was reaching to be held by the staff on our tour! Our son is thriving in this environment and we can see the positives it makes to his development at home. The staff care for the children greatly and they really get to know and understand the children individually. Communication is great and everyone is friendly and helpful.

The nursery works very hard to look after the children and does an amazing job of looking after my son, he loves to come and play and has learnt so much already. The staff are kind and friendly, my child always looks forward to going to nursery! Keep being amazing.

My child started just before he turned 8 months and as a first time parent, I was so nervous to start him at nursery. The team at Bright Horizons Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery and Preschool are amazing! Not just the practitioners in my child's room but across the whole setting. I felt welcome as soon as I stepped foot into the building and my son and I were acknowledged by everyone in every room. The ladies in the baby room really do adore my son and it feels like home from home for him. The management team are strong and the manager is the best in the game! Her knowledge and attitude is outstanding and you see the reflection of her practice, around the nursery as the team is strong and the practice flows throughout. I couldn't recommend Buckhurst Hill enough and it's evident that my child is being looked after and taught well as he has learnt so much within four months.

Our son has been at Bright Horizons for a year now and we couldn't be happier. We have noticed improvements in his development and his confidence since attending. All the staff is friendly and his key worker has been fantastic. They are always engaging in fun activities and our son comes home with a big smile on his face.

Activities - the little ones are always trying new activities the variety of which I couldn't dream of recreating at home! They are often in the garden, exploring the outdoors.

My little boy has been going to the nursery for nearly a year. His development has been amazing since he started the nursery. Everyone is so polite, kind, caring and friendly. The nursery feels like a second home for us and our little boy. He is excited to go to nursery and has learnt a lot. Thank you for keeping our little one safe and making him smile every day.

Our son has been at the nursery since it opened. We moved our son from another nursery and within one week there was a difference, he was much happier and learning new things. He loves getting up and going in the morning. We, as parents, couldn’t ask for better, the staff are amazing, they always have time to talk, give advice and guidance on our children. Our daughter was with the manager ten years ago and she did the same fantastic job with her and she and her staff are doing with our son. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

Absolutely recommend. Management are lovely too - they know every single baby's name and are nearly always seen helping out with the kids too.

Our boy started at the Bright Horizons Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery and Preschool when they opened and was with them for almost six months before transferring to a nursery closer to home - we originally couldn't get into another Bright Horizons nursery due to over subscription so chose to go to Buckhurst Hill until a space became free. From the start, the team at Buckhurst Hill were amazing. My boy has hypermobility and they have been attentive and caring, going above and beyond to help with his gross motor skills development. The nursery is beautiful with an amazing set-up. The manager and all the staff made our transition to nursery so easy. Thank you all so much and we will have to come back and visit soon.

The manager and team are wonderful! My daughter has had a difficult time settling and they have been very supportive. Always friendly and positive! The staff give wonderful guided learning even at such a young age. The brand-new environment is lovely.
