For each review the Day Nursery / service is rated Excellent, Good, Satisfactory, Poor or Very Poor on a number of areas eg Staff, Management etc. The Day Nursery receives points for each rating as follows: Excellent = 5. My daughter has been attending the nursery since August 2017 and she loves it. Each morning she goes in smiling and excited for her day. The staff have been brilliant. When introducing her to solids, she used to choke easily and the staff were really helpful and attentive to her needs and eventually got her eating properly. She has many experiences painting and going out for walks and every Friday she goes to the music class within the nursery which is great and anytime she hears music now she starts dancing. My daughter is beginning to walk and is always climbing which the staff know so provide opportunities for her to do so.

My little girl started nursery when she was 10 months old and the staff were very helpful and reassuring during her visits. She has settled very well since Aug 2017. I like that she gets to play outside and sleep outside. I can phone the nursery to check on her, however, I no longer feel I need to as I know she is happy and the staff are great at taking care of her.
The staff provide feedback about her day and give me regular updates of her learning. Very happy with this nursery.

Morton Mains is an excellent nursery. My daughter attends 2 days a week and always keen to go back. She loves drawing and always has pictures for us. She also loves the outdoors and staff take the kids out as much as possible in the private garden, to the allotment or to see the horses.
The staff and management are friendly and caring and will do anything to help if required. The idea of Spanish lessons for adults to assist the children's learning is fantastic.
My youngest daughter will be attending once my wife finishes maternity leave and I would recommend it to all parents.

My child couldn’t be happier. He made friends immediately and the teachers were so welcoming. It’s a clean space with plenty to keep them busy and stimulate them. The staff always make time to tell me how he’s been that day and what he’s eaten. They spend huge amounts of time outside come rain or shine, learning sports and yoga which I love. The menus are really varied and he’s trying new things all the time. He comes home upbeat but exhausted every day and looks forward to going the next. He’s developing into a considerate and well mannered little boy. Can’t fault it, genuinely the best nursery he’s been to (5 already).

We found the transition experience fantastic. The team put our minds at ease, they were flexible, accommodating and above all else cared for our son excellently. As a parent, I was able to go back to work after maternity leave feeling free from anxiety and felt secure in the care our son was receiving. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. I am impressed with the facilities and the range of food that the children get each week.

I think the staff at Morton Mains Nursery work very hard to ensure the health and wellbeing as well as the learning of the children in their care. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and are genuine in their care of the children. When I collect my son, I find that anyone can tell me how he has been and what learning experiences have taken place. They are always looking for new ways to challenge themselves and the learners in their care.

Appreciative of number of rooms available (4) to transition through the nursery as it allows for appropriate, child based needs and learning development rather than dictated by space as some nurseries with less rooms. Dedicated genuine, approachable and friendly staff who are enthusiastic about children reaching individual potential. Willing to support concerns from home, and outstanding levels of communication by giving time to parents at handover. Always gives smiles and interest to my children, obviously have an established relationship.

My sons have both had a great experience of Morton Mains Nursery. Staff are very friendly and they have looked after one of my sons particularly well when were trying to diagnose his skin condition. They showed a lot of patience with him. I have already recommended Morton Mains Nursery and they start in the baby room next month.

Staff are all extremely welcoming, caring and attentive to the children. They take the time to explain what the current theme is, how the child has been each day and what activities they've been doing as well as the food that has been eaten. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to keep the children occupied and they are learning and developing through different themes all the time. I feel very confident that our son is happy as well as learning in the environment.

My children have been coming here for three and a half years now and I couldn't be happier with the care they have received. There has always been great communication from the nursery and if I have ever had any concerns, they have been dealt with very well and very efficiently.

My son has been at Morton Mains for about a year, we moved him from another nursery that we weren't happy with. I cannot recommend Morton Mains highly enough. They have been excellent in all areas. My son is a very picky eater but the staff have worked with him to help him eat and enjoy the food that is provided. The outside space at Morton Mains is second to none and my son loves exploring and playing outside.
All staff are friendly and his current keyworker (who he loves!) is excellent, she really knows him and knows his needs. Likewise, his keyworker when he was in the baby room was also excellent. It's clear that the senior leaders of both the baby room and his current room are well respected by staff and parents and clearly know how to do their job well. I would recommend this nursery to everyone.

We try to work with the children and their families and their participation in the life of the centre is very important to me. I think it is great to see the children grow and develop into confident individuals.
