The Eveline Day and Nursery Schools Ltd (Quicks Road) Reviews (17)
Over all time The Eveline Day and Nursery Schools Ltd (Quicks Road) has 17 reviews.
This is a lovely nursery with very caring and involved staff. I was upset to have to return to work when my son was just 5.5 months old, but the nursery staff assured me that he would be given one on one care at his age. He settled in immediately and I could tell the staff genuinely enjoyed him being there. He is 10 months old now and he gets excited to see each Baby Room staff member who greets him at the door when I drop him off. At every pick up, I see the older kids who look like they've done really fun things all day. I also get the emails that show that the older kids are offered things like sports clubs and forest school. I would highly recommend this nursery and we plan to stay for a long time.
Our daughter has been attending Eveline Day and Nursery School since she was 7 months old. We have watched her flourish and develop so much since starting in 2018. She has great friendships with the children and staff and the team are constantly looking for ways to educate in a way that works for them, every child is unique.
This is an amazing nursery with the most wonderful staff! I couldn't recommend this nursery more. My daughter was very hard to settle but the staff in every unit were amazingly accommodating and made it all much easier. My son loves it at Eveline and has made lots of lovely friends! The management team are so caring and would go above and beyond and are always looking to help.
We are so happy that both your children love going to our nursery. Many thanks for taking the time to write a review.
A fantastic Nursery! The manager and the team really go the extra mile to make sure the kids are happy and keep developing. There is a lot of extra activities (mindfulness, toddler sports, forest trips etc). As a parent, I couldn't ask for more.
Thank you so much for your positive review. We love the children in our care and see the wonderful activities that they experience on a daily basis. The children always seem totally engaged in their play and greet us with confidence and joy when we visit.
Both our children have attended since 12 months old and have been incredibly happy at this nursery. The staff are loving and nurturing and there is a varied and interesting schedule of activities and topics. They gradually introduce learning through play as well as giving the children support to develop confidence and mindfulness. Communication is good, and the management team are very organised. We very much feel part of their family.
Thank you for your time in writing such a lovely review. We, as a family and all of our staff, love the children in our care. My mother started up the nurseries in the 1960s with the thought that the nursery should be an extension to the home and that all parents and children were part of her family. We still promote this family feeling and are so happy that you felt part of this.
The staff are incredibly caring and dedicated to looking after the children and give them a fantastic start to life.
The manager does a wonderful job of running the place, minimising turnover of staff, keeping parents up to date and finding new ways to expand the youngsters' horizons, including the introduction of basics to Spanish in recent weeks.
Under her guidance, the nursery recently moved up to an Outstanding rating after an Ofsted review, and from everything we can see it is highly deserved.
Unlike some places we saw - where the staff were often younger and seemingly doing the job as a staging post to something else - you get the impression the Eveline team view their work at the nursery as their desired vocation.
We feel very lucky to have our child attend and if you can get a place too would encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity.
Thinking about other benefits. They are open from 7:30am to 6:30pm - giving more flexibility for working parents compared to some other nurseries in the area.
Thinking about the downsides. The outside space is small, but they are right next to a park and they are putting it to good use when the weather permits.
The manager and all the ladies are wonderful and have had such a warm and positive impact on my kids lives that they couldn't have a better start in life. Thank you Eveline Day.
Our child has been at The Eveline for 3 years and we have been delighted with the care she receives. They get to know each child individually and know their quirks and preferences. From the care given as a young baby (where cuddles and comfort for her were just as important to the staff as they were to us parents) to the varied ways that they encourage learning in the older children, we have been very happy. Her group is diverse and the nursery has really embraced this and encouraged the individuality in each child. Through the nursery and her peers, she has learnt to count in 6 languages! She also loves Forest School, Show and Tell and Sporty Minis. The physical appearance of the nursery is not as impressive as many (limited outside space, fab carpets), but if you look past that you will find the real jewels in the staff, their enthusiasm, caring natures and creativity. We also love the community that has developed from the nursery with excited children often meeting up in the park.
My daughter loves her nursery and has done ever since she started at 9 months' old. The staff are fantastic, so engaging and interested in the children they care for. My daughter has experienced a delay in walking and I cannot fault the support from staff in helping her to get stronger and improve - their joy at seeing her walk for the first time was heartwarming. I am very happy with the food the nursery provides - great variety and full of nutrition. The facilities are very clean and well kept and despite limited outdoor space, they make good use of the park next door whenever the weather permits. Overall, a very happy customer!
Thank you for your positive review.
Eveline Nursery has excellent, skilled staff that provide a very caring environment for my daughter. It has great facilities where children can learn in a caring, fun setting. My daughter is happy and loves going to nursery, the staff also listen and are very attentive to my families needs. I couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery.
Thank you for your positive and encouraging review.
Staff and managers are excellent. The nursery is well run, clean and organised.
Would definitely recommend.
In previous nurseries, I thought my son was a difficult child because nursery teachers often put him in 'timeout' and he often cried in the nursery. I felt so guilty because my husband and I were always so busy with our work and we moved a lot.
However, now I realise his situation depends greatly on the nursery! When I talked to the teachers about my concerns for my son's difficulties in previous nurseries, they kindly set the meeting to discuss how to deal with him. I was so impressed that staff provide enough support, they let my son learn more effectively, and let him enjoy being in Eveline.
Now, both my husband and I feel it was a truly right choice to let my son go to Eveline because we often hear my son saying after we pick him up, "I enjoyed so much today!"
Highly recommended. Staff are nice and caring. They are very open minded, positive and helpful. My little girl just started weaning. We do BLW. She is the only one there with this method. The cook sat with me and asked me what she could eat and she cooks specifically for her. During settling in period staff observed how I responded to her and asked how I liked them to do. They got to know her very quickly and look after her the way I want. She is very happy there.
Thank you for your positive review
The staff are wonderful and show genuine affection for the children.
We would recommend the nursery to any family and friends.
Thank you for your positive response.
We are very happy with Eveline Day Nursery. The staff and the environment are great and we are impressed by the strong management of the nursery as well as the teams' experience, care and dedication to the children as well as their day-to-day enthusiasm. The children's development and learning are clearly in focus, alongside fun and play and there is a clear emphasis on on-going optimisation of facilities and the nursery's offering. I can warmly recommend Eveline Nursery Quicks Road!
