We are sending our two boys there and are extremely happy with the nursery and the wonderful team. Most importantly, we've seen such positive development in our boys. They spend lots of time outdoors, enjoy plenty of fresh air, and have become real little forest rangers. It's amazing to see how much joy they get from the simple things in nature. We couldn't recommend it more highly!
We're delighted that your little ones are flourishing at Little Forest Folk! It is so lovely to hear that they are using their forest skills outside of the nursery. Thank you for your review and your kind words, it means so much.
Our daughter has been at LFF for 2 years now and its the best decision we have made. The benefits they get from being in an outdoor setting has meant she has blossomed into a nature loving, inquisitive, physically very strong and able girl. The staff are consistently caring, nurturing, educating and they really know a lot about each child and form a very strong bond. The communication and organisation from the manager and head office has been worlds apart from the traditional nursery we were at before. We cannot fault it and look forward to sending our other daughter there.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt review. It's been a real privilege to be part of your daughter's journey over the past two years and to see her thrive in the outdoor environment - growing into such a strong, inquisitive, and nature-loving individual.Your kind words about our team and the care,...
Wimbledon Forest Folk is the most magical place! I can't recommend it enough, the staff, the activities, the meals, everything is faultless. Our daughter has loved her forest adventures. In terms of nursery settings, this is something special and the kids have the most fun filled days outside with their peers and the amazing nursery educators. We are so grateful!
Thank you for your truly lovely words! We're over the moon to hear how much your daughter has enjoyed her time with us. It's a joy to see her thrive in the forest, and your kind feedback means so much to the whole team. We love all the compliments and feel warm and fuzzy inside from reading your message!
Both our kids have been through Little Forest Folk in Wimbledon. It really has been the most incredible experience for them. My youngest is about to leave to go to school and it's hard to say goodbye to this incredible setting. The kids are encouraged to be adventurous, inquisitive and kind. They learn from the staff and each other in such an important way that isn't possible in the four walls of a traditional nursery and they seem to get less sickness bugs and general illness. For any prospective parents this a wonderful nurturing first experience of childcare and education. It's the best investment we have made to date. Thank you to the incredible staff for your dedication and care. In the depths of winter, keeping little hands warm and mind involved, to the heat of summer, endlessly applying suncream, while providing water play and fun in shady spots. You have been wonderful! We will be back for holiday camps for certain.
Thank you so much for this lovely review of our Wimbledon nursery! It's wonderful to hear that all of the benefits of outdoor learning have really influenced both of your little ones' early years, and we cannot wait to see them revisit us for some holiday camps in the future!
Our daughter is happy there. We initially weren't sure how she would get on with an outdoor environment, but the team in Wimbledon helped her settle down really well. We are pleased with the staff ratios in Little Forest Folk Wimbledon and their communications are brilliant. Highly recommended.
Thank you so much for your kind review! We're so glad to hear your little one has settled in well to forest life!
Our son attended Little Forest Folk Wimbledon for two years and started school this September. The care he received was outstanding and the play and learning he was exposed to had such a massive impact on his social skills, his independence and emotional intelligence. He is doing so well at school, teachers comment on how kind and caring he is to other children as well as how sociable he is, and this has a lot to do with the Little Forest Folk. He has so many wonderful memories of sawing, playing with mud and worms and he made such a wonderful group of friends who we still meet up with. Thank you so much for your hard work and making his time with you so magical.
Thank you so much for your very kind review! We are so glad to hear that your little one had such magical experiences with us in the forest and we are so happy to hear how well he's getting on at big school!
Both loved the setting, the staff and the activities they do. Neither were bothered by the cold, in fact, they love icy days as they enjoy the crunch on the ground and seeing ice.
They learn to enjoy self-directed play and imagination games. They adore being outside and are knowledgeable about nature (naming trees, plants and birds). They are also so much more physically able as tree climbing is a key activity and they do a lot of walking.
We were at another local nursery previously and this is better in every way.
Thank you for leaving us such a lovely review - we are so happy your little ones have loved their time with Little Forest Folk, especially crunching through the forest on icy days - what lovely memories they have made!
Little Forest Folk Wimbledon is such a special place! The staff make base camp magical with lots of decorations, activities and obstacle courses. The team are brilliant especially the manager and staff member in Bunnies. They have so much energy and keep the children engaged all day. Our son has been there for 1.5 years now and loves it, he comes home very happy each day.
What a lovely review, thank you - we're so glad your little one is enjoying his days in the forest!
There always feels like a lot of pressure to get decisions right that relate to your child's well-being, choosing a childcare setting is one such decision and I'm so grateful that sending our son to Little Forest Folk Wimbledon has left us with no doubt whatsoever that we've chosen the best place for him. The staff are incredible; they are compassionate and caring but work hard to make sure the children get a great education through diverse, practical activities while ensuring a degree of discipline and independence in everything that is done. The food provided is top-tier and very healthy and the communication is excellent. I would highly recommend it.
We are so glad that you are happy with your decision for your little one to join us at Little Forest Folk - thank you for your lovely review!
Our son joined Little Forest Folk 1 year ago and we are very happy with the experience. The staff are caring and playful. My son really enjoyed the nursery and loves his Key Person very much. He truly builds resilient and independent characteristics from here. I like their unique natural environment, mixed age and Child-led play very much. I highly recommend this place.
We're delighted that your little one is flourishing at Little Forest Folk! Thank you for your review!
The key staff turnover is low, the staff-to-child ratio couldn't be better, and the operations that make this all possible are second to none. The updates we receive are informative and helpful and demonstrate that they really know my child and understand his needs and how to get the best out of him.
The managers and rest of the team are always available to answer any queries or offer their advice, not to mention they are absolutely brilliant with the little ones.
I truly believe that to choose to spend your time outside come rain or shine, you must really love what you do and be passionate about the little people you work with.
My child is absolutely living his best life and I feel the outdoor setting and everything else that Little Forest Folk has to offer is really setting him up for a brilliant future. Thank you all!
Thank you for your kind words - it's so great to hear that your little one is thriving in the forest!

From growing up in the Hampshire countryside, Poppy has always enjoyed being outdoors, and she is fascinated by the way in which children can use nature to learn, play and explore.
Poppy has a degree in Early Childhood Studies and is a firm believer in the Little Forest Folk ethos of giving children the freedom to learn through play.
Olivia has always spent time outside, as a child she loved going to local parks, beaches and forests with her family (& still does!). This inspired her to do her Adventure Education degree where she learnt outdoor sports such as: kayaking, canoeing, sailing, skiing and rock climbing.
She now climbs regularly at different London climbing centres & her weekends are full of sport, anything from watching Crystal Palace in Selhurst or netball online.
She completed her PGCE at Canterbury and taught in South London for a few years. She is now undertaking her Level 2 forest school training. She is really interested in how the outdoors and forest school ethos can benefit children and their development.
Lucy has a Primary Education degree, and her dissertation was on outdoor education.
She was a Brownie and Guide growing up and enjoyed camping and campfire singing with the Guides. She has been a Brownie leader for many years now.
Previously, she has worked with children in several different settings; including schools, holiday clubs and on a farm. Looking after the planet is important to her, she is making small changes to make a difference. When not at work, she enjoys gluten free baking, reading and sewing. She also likes walking in the countryside and spending time on her allotment.
