Welcome to Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries the UK’s largest childcare franchise.

For over thirty years Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries have been working closely with parents, staff and Ofsted to deliver childcare of the highest quality, providing children with unlimited opportunities to learn, develop and grow within a safe, secure and caring environment.

Their day nurseries and settings are specifically designed to meet the needs of babies and young children. With large, bright open plan rooms, creative outdoor play areas and a variety of modern equipment providing children with a stimulating environment in which to thrive.

Their aim is for every child to be happy and healthy, enjoying their early years at the Nursery and for parents to have peace of mind that their children are in excellent hands.

We are really happy with Monkey Puzzle Woodford. Our son started at the nursery in March, just before his first birthday, and the team have been great ever since. From settling in, to now, he has been supported by the same team + key worker, which has helped him to adjust well into his new setting.
I feel as though he is well cared for, with the team always responsive to any requests we have (i.e. number of naps, etc). The app is well updated for us to see how he's getting on throughout the day, and it's always lovely to get more info at pick up where each staff member is forthcoming with details on how his day has been. He clearly loves the staff, especially his key workers, and there is such a happy environment across the whole building, that we felt really comfortable with leaving him there from the start. Finally, we're grateful for the good security measures across the site, which allows us to feel reassured knowing the building is safe.

My son started nursery at Monkey Puzzle 2 weeks ago and I couldn't be more happier, they were very welcoming and took him in with open arms, I was worried as I was transferring him from a different nursery but my son was comfortable from the first day, he's even started eating vegetables and he hates
them which says a lot haha, but overall amazing nursery and people. Would recommend to anyone looking for one.

My 11-month-old daughter recently started in the Baby Room and has been settling in well. She's been trying new foods and textures and loves it. Its lovely to see how the team focus on her individual needs and gross motor skills, especially being the youngest in the class where she gets lots of nurturing
cuddles. She has been sleeping really well in nursery, and I appreciate the app updates on her care. The team have been warm, caring, and supportive, making the transition so much easier for both of us.

I've seen great progress in her confidence and development, and she's always happy to attend, which means a lot to us. Communication

We are incredibly grateful to the whole team for the care and support they have given our daughter since she started. Leaving her at such a young age was a big decision, but the team made it feel so reassuring from the very beginning.


Our daughter has multiple dietary restrictions and allergies, and

the level of care, attention, and diligence shown around her diet has been exceptional. They have always been so mindful and proactive, which gave us real peace of mind and allowed me to return to work knowing she was in safe hands.


She has grown into such a happy, alert, and engaged little girl, and we truly believe this is thanks to the nurturing and supportive environment they provide every day.

I couldn't be happier with this nursery. We moved my children here from another nursery and the impact it's had on them has been incredible. I couldn't speak more highly of the staff - they all actually care about the children. Within a week of my children starting, they'd really got to know them and
their unique personalities. They take time to put together a fun timetable of activities, including trips out, baking, yoga, and so many different science experiments and arts and crafts. My children love going in every day and their confidence has grown so much since starting. My eldest left and started school this year and has found the transition easy - I think Monkey Puzzle did such a brilliant job at preparing him for this. Overall, I feel confident that I'm sending my children somewhere that they love, with a team that really have their best interests at heart and do everything they can to ensure they have a wonderful experience.

Our daughter attended Monkey Puzzle Hartley Wintney for 30 months and "graduated" for reception class September 2025. We've had a good long time to think about our experience and to hear from others, and frankly can't think of better that we could have had for nursery education and care in
the vicinity. We appreciated the mix of female and male staff, the outstanding individual support with SEN and food issues which we received, the creative focus upon diversity, the natural environment for play, and the solid focus on Early Years Foundation Stage learning. In some ways we're sad that it's over, but we think it's the best start we could possibly have had.

My daughter, 18 months now started Jan 2026. Her first week was tought for her and my self as she had never really been away from me, but after the fist week she had settled so well and this was thanks to all the amazing staff members at the Nursery, they are all so caring, kind and friendly. My daughter
is not a great eater, however over the past 4 months she is getting better and have tried a variety of amazing foods prepared by the on site chef, from roasts to, rice dishes, pastas, all freshly made on the day and smell amazing. Since joining three nursery my daughter vocabulary has inproved as well as her social skills. All the facilities are very clean and very well presented. I am very happy and impressed with Monkey Puzel Walton, I cannot fault them and my daughter is happy every morning to go there and loves all members of staff. I highly recommend Monkey Puzzle Walton.

My daughter has a great time at nursery! She loves all the staff and feels safe with them. They do a variety of activities and spend a lot of time outdoors when the sun is out. She loves the day trips to the soft play and her sleep has improved greatly at nursery. I am really happy she has settled in
so quickly and that is all down to the staff.

This is a very good nursery; they have very nice caring staff and we are always kept up to date on things. They teach the child on doing different activities during the day and we feel our child is between safe hands.

Choosing this nursery for my two boys was one of the best decisions we made as a family. They both started at different ages, each with their own personalities - one a little shy and the other full of energy - and the staff supported them so beautifully as individuals.


Over time, we've seen such

amazing growth in their confidence, independence, and social skills. They go in smiling and come home happy every single day, always excited to tell us about their friends and the fun activities they've enjoyed.


The team truly care about the children and create a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where they can learn and thrive. As a parent, there is nothing more reassuring.


We are incredibly grateful to all the staff for the love, patience, and dedication they show every day. This nursery will always have a special place in our hearts.

We moved our son from another nursery nearby about 18 months ago and are so happy we did! Caring and attentive staff. Beautiful clean rooms and equipment, well maintained. Lots of learning and activities. Our son and his friends are thriving. Starting school prep now for September. Clear structured
plan. Would highly recommend
