Monkey Puzzle Bromley is situated in a light-filled Grade-II listed building within walking distance of both Bromley North and South! With an interior purposely designed to provide a home-from-home environment ideal for children to learn and develop through play!

Children start in Explorers doing just that in a spacious room filled with beautiful resources to encourage little minds to grow. Discoverers follow with their fully equipped room including child-sized toilets and drinking fountain. Downstairs are the Investigators who have a fabulous time investigating the world around them through play and adult led activities.

Inventors is the last stop for children before school. School Readiness is what this room is all about with an Early Years Teacher at the forefront of their learning.

Outside is no different with a purpose-built playground offering opportunities for all areas of learning to be extended across the age ranges.

There is an inclusive and multi-cultural nursery focused on providing the best care to each individual child. An experienced staff team are employed who are highly skilled and passionate about what they do.

All meals are cooked on site by the fully trained Chef so they can cater for any dietary needs you may have.

Honestly, this is the first nursery I found, and applied for. I have not had any personal experience with nurseries except through my sisters.
From my my first visit, I got the impression of genuine care from the staff. I felt this way because they asked if my daughter spoke a different language and
if I could give them a few words so they can understand some words that she uses it may not be unique to this nursery, but it may be something that not all nurseries practice.
I also really like the software used to communicate with parents. I think it's really handy and effective, even though I've used it less less as the amounts have gone by. This isn't a negative point against the software but more of a positive view of the staff.
I also hope for the well-being of the staff because I know how stressful it can be looking after children.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 10 months and is now in her last year there, but I could not fault it one bit! Absolutely amazing staff that are so caring and love the children. They have consistently shown such a high level of care and attention, as well as always pushing my little
girl to learn more and go out of her comfort zone in a safe setting. My daughter always loves the food and the Chefs, as well as the fun and clean rooms with various role play settings set up for the children to explore. They also have a variety of outsourced entertainment that come into the nursery to do sports, yoga, French, singing and more! My daughter loves nursery and I would always recommend Monkey Puzzle to any of my friends.

We have two children at the nursery and both have been extremely happy. The staff are friendly and engaged with the children and there are very few short term agency staff. The menu is fantastic and the chefs go out of their way to cater for dietary needs and preferences. The garden is small, which
is a shame, but it is fully covered so it can be used in all weathers which is a plus. The activities that are arranged such as music, yoga and French is great and whilst the children are encouraged to participate, they are not forced to. Overall we are extremely happy.

We initially viewed a few nurseries for our daughter, and all seemed great so we chose Monkey Puzzle as it was closest. I am delighted to say I cannot imagine a better place for our little one! She started in Explorers (babies) and has been there a few months (soon to transition to Discoverers/toddlers).
Her key worker is amazing, they bonded straight away, but our daughter also loves all the other staff in the room and is happy to go to all of them at the door in the morning - a strong endorsement! The menu is so varied, and somehow they get her to eat way better there than at home, and cater really carefully for her food allergy - there's never been a slip up. The app works great for tracking food and sleep, even when very busy and not updated in real time the staff always fill us in at handover. The observations are also lovely to see! Invoicing is simple and the admin staff are always so helpful if needed. Our LO is so happy here, I recommend highly!

We are extremely happy with our experience at Monkey Puzzle Bromley. Both of our children have had a wonderful time there and the staff are incredibly caring and supportive. We would highly recommend this nursery. The staff all all very friendly and welcoming and genuinely care about the children. They
took the time to get to know our children and their individual needs. The nursery is clean, bright, and well-equipped. There's a lovely outdoor play area which can be used in all weathers as it has a covered roof and there is always a wide variety of indoor activities. The activities are engaging and stimulating. The children are exposed to a wide range of learning experiences, including art, music, sports, and phonics. They often go on little trips during the day and both of my children have enjoyed extra activities such as French and yoga. The preschool room has a strong focus on preparing children for school, introducing them to phonics, numeracy, and social skills development.

All the staff are absolutely wonderful and are so friendly. They are super helpful when it comes to any issue or questions you might have they are always happy to help. My child has been attending this nursery since he was 11 months old which was earlier than I had wanted but I had to have an operation so we needed some help. I am a very protective and emotional mum and they totally respected that and still make sure that their communication ensures that I feel my
child is safe and cared for. We are so impressed with the professionalism and number of the staff, cleanliness and number of activities in the rooms, their two lovely chefs and it just feels like a happy and safe environment to be in. The key workers that we have had absolutely adore our child and it is such a pleasure to see them. The reception and management team are also really friendly and approachable. My only wish-although I know they are in a town- would be for more open-air outside space; the activities they have in the space available are great though. Highly recommend.

My son has been going to the nursery since he was 14 months. It's been 18 months now and we are very happy.
The staff are very caring and my child has connected very well to key workers/everyone. He now knows everyone's names, knows how to share and comes home very happy.

We are really happy at Monkey Puzzle Bromley. We joined when my daughter was eight months last summer. We were pleased that the settling-in period was two weeks rather than just one to really help my little one adjust. My daughter, unfortunately, fell ill (unrelated to the nursery) and required surgery
and additional needs, and the staff at the nursery, especially our key worker. We have had so much support through a family bereavement with flexibility to add additional dates at short notice. We know that our little one is well cared for, she is entertained and stimulated and engaged throughout the day, and get regular updates on her fun through the app.

I would 100% recommend this nursery, my son has thrived and enjoys attending this setting. The staff have been excellent in their communication, support and also the level of care they provide to my son, staff are always willing to take time and provide in-depth updates on pick up and also complete
weekly observations via the app, so I am aware of how my son's day has gone and also areas of development. The manager also goes above and beyond and has built a great bond with my son, she has demonstrated effective leadership and has a good rapport with the children and staff from what I have observed, the Nursery provides good communication and relevant updates to parents on a weekly basis. I feel confident leaving my son in their care and have not had any concerns.

I could not recommend this nursery enough, my children moved here from a different nursery setting, and the staff team were welcoming to both myself and my children. The settling-in process is robust and supportive of both children and parental needs, I felt at ease leaving my children here and knew
their needs would be supported. The nursery operates a key person approach and this has offered my children consistency when going to nursery each day, they often speak about their key persons on the weekend, and can't wait to run into nursery and see them on a Monday Morning.
The facilities are great and the garden is covered meaning the children can access this in all weathers.
Staff plan stimulating activities for my children each day, and I know their learning is being supported and this is shared with myself on a daily basis during handovers.
The nursery uses an app to capture moments at nursery and I receive lots of photos and videos of my children so I don't feel I am missing out.

We are so pleased we chose to send our daughter to Monkey Puzzle Bromley. We feel so content knowing that she is in the care of such kind, warm and friendly staff. The team work so incredibly hard to provide stimulating and fresh activities for the children. Our daughter is always happy upon pick up
and talks nonstop on the way home about how much fun she's had throughout the day. The daily updates received via the app on her development, eating and sleeping habits are an added bonus and reassurance. We could not recommend this nursery enough, thank you for taking such great care of our little girl!

Monkey Puzzle is a terrible nursery. I have reported them to the Council and they have been issued with a letter of concern by them. The garden is small and mediocre. The management are rude and try to silence every complaint they have. They discriminate against funded parents and charge them more than
non-funded parents as described in my review on another platform. The management bullies parents. They have been reported to Ofsted twice in 2020 and only achieved a “good” from Ofsted despite being the most expensive nursery in Bromley. I have heard nothing but issues from them. My 3 year old was placed in toddlers despite her being more suited to preschool. I keep hearing bad stories from parents since my daughter began. My daughter is now signed up to an Ofsted outstanding nursery who apply the funding correctly. Terrible nursery! They provide a supermarket's own label food and try to sell it as “premium”.

We now have two kids at Monkey Puzzle Bromley, one who started at 11 months and is due to begin school in September. We love the kind, family feel of the nursery and the care that is shown to our children is incredible. Both kids are happy to go in and never come home upset. We are kept well updated
during handovers as well as getting a good amount of entries on their learning journals. In addition to the support that is provided to the children, parents are treated in a similar way, with staff always greeting us with a smile. We are happy to be able to work knowing that our children are so well cared for. We couldn’t fault Monkey Puzzle, the staff, the chefs and the management - they make our lives so much easier. We could not rate this nursery, the staff and its managers more highly. Every team member has cared for our children so amazingly - the love and attentiveness they have shown has meant that our children have felt very happy and settled in every room, and have formed very strong bonds. The team has also
brilliantly supported us through phases such as potty training and “dealing with emotions”, which has helped us at home too.
The nursery offers many activities for the children such as French, yoga and music; no two days are the same. The weekly observations and accompanying photos give a great insight into nursery life! They also put a lot of effort into school readiness in the final room, which made the transition much easier for my daughter when the time came.
The management team are very visible and they will always take the time to discuss anything with us.
We could not recommend Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery more and when our son leaves to start school, we will really miss being a part of it!

Monkey Puzzle, Bromley day nursery is a great place for kids. There are separate rooms for kids in different age groups. Each room has got a bunch of staff with a team leader. My son has been going to the nursery from the age of 6 months and now he is 4 years old. During this period we have seen his
development and it is absolutely brilliant. He has developed good social skills, his potty routine is great, he can eat himself at this age without making the place dirty(quite important) and he is very vocal and is not shy to open up and express his feelings. The only complaint I have is about the constant revision of fees and in the context of inflation it is very challenging for us.

We have been using the nursery for nearly 7 years now and have always been happy. They treat your children wonderfully and are always happy to help with their individual needs and their own plan.
Amazing choices of food every week to help your little one expand their palate.

Arlind Marku

The nursery is owned by local businessman Arlind Marku, who graduated from Middlesex University in 2007 with a BA Hons in Business Studies and Italian. Since graduating he has run a number of family businesses, always with the intention of returning back to his dream of owning a children’s day nursery. Arlind always aspired “to own a nursery that is full of happiness and joy, creating an environment where children can thrive”. He grew up with very strong family values where children’s upbringing and education was always paramount. “I believe that a child’s successful journey starts from very early education so it was extremely important for me to choose a site which provides the best setting for children to have enjoyable and fun learning experiences”. I enjoy using my business knowledge and passion for children to support our team and improve the opportunities for our children. I am a firm believer that children are our future and we must give them an understanding of how powerful, important, valuable and perfect they are. Stacy Cooper

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2015

Stacy qualified with a CACHE level 3 in Childcare and Education. She also has 11 years of experience in childcare with 2-3-year-olds. Stacy has received MAKATON training from the lady who trained Mr Tumble (Justin Fletcher) and although working in childcare is challenging she finds it incredibly rewarding. Working with children has always been a passion of Stacy’s since she was 9 and has been the best career choice she could have made.


When asked why she wanted to work in childcare Stacy said “The reason I work with children is that they are our future generation and I take pride in knowing that I have made an impact on the most important years of their lives.”

Nick has been working within early years for over 15 years and joined the company as our Operations Manager. Nick supports our Bromley, Orpington and Tunbridge Wells nurseries providing valuable support to our management teams and overseeing recruitment and operations of the nurseries.
“Our vision is to create a wonderful space where children will be safe, cared for, loved and happy. Our children and families will always remain at the centre of what we do. We will provide a space where children and our team can learn, grow and develop with support, encouragement and positivity being the keys to ensuring a high-quality provision.” Nick has previously worked for Asquith Nurseries where he began as a volunteer. He completed his Early Years qualification and worked towards becoming Manager of the company’s flagship nursery helping to achieve an Outstanding Ofsted grade twice and being held over 9 years. Nick’s passion is focused upon supporting both the children’s and the team’s development and helping to deliver the highest standards of childcare across all areas of the nursery. The best part of the day though is always seeing the smiles on the children’s faces as they laugh, learn and play. Nick is a huge sports fan, who especially enjoys football, tennis and cycling. He also loves watching films, reading, visiting the seaside and meeting up with friends over a good cup of coffee to help relax.

I am based at our Bromley branch, but I also support our Orpington and Tunbridge Wells nurseries.


I have worked in Early Years for over 10 years, and I could not imagine doing anything else. I love being a part of watching the children develop and grow, supporting them to reach their personal milestones.


I have previously supported and led Ofsted inspections, supporting nurseries to achieve Outstanding outcomes. I felt extremely proud that we had achieved the highest standards for our families and team.


I have had experience in a variety of different roles. I started my childcare journey, newly qualified as a bank member of staff. I was offered a full-time position as a nursery nurse, and not long after,r I became a Room Supervisor and began to develop my leadership skills.


A few years later, I was given the opportunity to work as a third in charge in the nursery. This is where I gained more managerial skills and began the children and the teams across a range of ages. After a few years, I was a Deputy Manager where my passion for supporting children continued to flourish and I added the role of SENDCO, supporting children with additional needs and further developing our inclusive practice.


I continue to support many children with additional needs, their families and our staff teams with children’s learning outcomes working closely with the Bromley Borough and relevant agencies.


As part of my role, I support with providing enabling environments and with the quality of teaching and learning.


In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and going on holiday to visit new places.

My favourite part of working with children is building on the high quality care and education, with a strong focus on the teaching and learning. Watching and being a part of children flourishing with a passion for learning is important to me.


I have worked in Early Years since 2002 as a Practitioner and then from 2007 onwards in management. I have a vast experience within Early Years Care and Education and believe that these are the most important and formative years.


I have achieved the completion of my B.A Honours in Early Years Development as well as hold Early Years Professional Status and have previously achieved an Outstanding grading from Ofsted.


In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, truck racing, classic 80’s and 90’s Ford cars, Disney and Halloween!
