Extremely happy with this nursery. My daughter has really came out of her shell since starting in December. She really has turned into a social butterfly. Her appetite and willingness has really improved which is amazing and super helpful. I love all the staff, everyone is so friendly and really care about all of the children.

The main thing that makes this nursery outstanding is the staff. The effort they put into helping our daughter settle in was amazing. They arrange different activities every day that are stimulating and fun and we are already noticing our daughter's development coming on leaps and bounds. Our daughter is a very fussy eater and the care and attention they put into helping her through mealtimes is so appreciated. Even her eating is coming on since she started this nursery only within this month. The app updates and photos are also such a bonus. Thank you so much to all of the staff at Sunhill for all that you do - it doesnt go unnoticed!

The nursery has plenty of space for varied activities, and it's clear that safety and development are the top priorities. My child is happy, engaged, and learning new things every day. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Sunhill has been a saving grace! After an awful experience trying to settle in at another nursery, with staff that quite frankly had no interest and didn't want to be there. I was left feeling like a neurotic first time mum, but my gut said it just wasn't right. After looking at a couple more nurseries, we found Sunhill. The most welcoming staff, warm & friendly atmosphere and emotionally invested in our little baby girl. Nothing was too much. They cared and wanted us to feel at ease, making the transition for me so much more barrage and removed anxieties. Our baby was all smiles and loved it, which is the same for us as first time parents. Day nursery of dreams!

My daughter has been attending sixpenny for around 6 months now and after a couple of settling in sessions the dropping off process became much easier and this was down to the hard work my daughter's keyworker and piers done to make her feel at home.

She loves attending nursery and uses up so much of her energy here. She has flourished ever since starting and has become a very confident, sociable toddler.

My partner and I absolutely love recieving updates during the day via the app. We are really happy we chose Sixpenny Nursery and recommend to anyone sending your child there.

Our baby has just started at Stubbington Lodge and we couldn't be happier with our choice to send her here! The baby group always seem to to be doing lots of exciting activities and she is always very engaged and happy when we pick her up.

I can't praise and recommend this nursery enough. My son has attended since he was one and he's always happy and settled. His development over the years has been incredible thanks to the wonderful staff who are friendly, professional, caring and consistently going above and beyond. We receive regular updates along with plenty of photos through the app and the meals are nutritious and sound delicious. Our second son will be starting in 2027 and I'm thrilled that both of my children will share this experience.

I can't recommend this nursery enough, since my child started at this nursery they've thrived in so many ways and it's all down to the nursery and the care that the staff give to each child. My child loves attending nursery and it's all down to the staff and the environment that they have for them to play in, the best nursery in York and would recommend to anyone!

We have been coming to nursery since my daughter was just under 1 year old and she is in the baby room. She settled in so quickly, which gave us so much reassurance, and she is always so happy to go in.

All of the staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and caring, and it's clear how much they genuinely look after the children. She eats really well there, enjoys lots of lovely activities and has made some lovely little friends too.

Communication has always been brilliant, there are always updates on the app and emails are answered quickly and staff are always helpful and supportive. We've seen such lovely progress in her development since attending and are so happy with how well she is doing. We couldn't be happier with our experience so far and would highly recommend the nursery.

Our has been at this nursery for the last 2 years and has enjoyed every minute of it. The staff are so friendly and warm and really make the nursery experience for our son. We honestly couldn't be happier with this nursery and have even recommended it to an friends. I know our son will miss it so much when he starts school but will have such fond memories of this place. We have the staff to thank for that.

My son started nursery at 10 months old. He loves it at the nursery and loves the staff. The activities and attention he receives there has developed his speech. motor skills and confidence. He tries a variety of foods and I really feel the staff care for him as an individual and with the same level of attention he would get at home.

Both our children have always been so happy at LGR Poppleton. The staff are wonderful and make every day fun, not to mention the delicious meals they eat there! Their approach to encouraged learning in a playful way has had a huge impact on our children's knowledge. The social and communication skills they have learnt will stay with them for life. The preschool room is a great transition for school and I would recommend this nursery to any prospective parent.

They have the right amount of children which is great for the kids. Our son went there and his little sister is currently there and has been there for more than 18 months and she loves it.
