Day Nurseries Owned by The Old Station Nursery in Wiltshire

The staff are very friendly, caring and welcoming, and have created such a lovely, nurturing environment (which made leaving them for the first time that little bit easier!)

A truly tried-and-tested review from a family who has been part of Sixpenny since 2022. We've had two children attend across Babies, Toddlers, Forest School and Pre-School, giving us firsthand experience of everything Sixpenny offers. Our boys have been nurtured, supported and genuinely loved by an incredible team who quickly became like family. Every handover left us feeling informed, included and confident our children were thriving.Sixpenny is a magical environment filled with adventure, creativity and nature. From Forest School woodland walks and bear hunts to caring for goats, chickens and tortoises, every day is filled with memorable experiences. The activities, learning opportunities and home-cooked meals are exceptional.Jess, Tash and Sam have created a welcoming, supportive community, while Lucy and Caroline have had a lasting impact on our family. Leaving is incredibly emotional. Sixpenny has given our boys friendship, confidence, adventure and so much joy.

My son loves his time at Sixpenny and we are so happy to have found this incredible nursery! The staff are so welcoming from the moment you arrive and he always loves saying good morning to the ladies in the kitchen. The daily activities are varied but they also have special visitors often such as sports, drama, cooking and music which keeps it exciting and varied. What shines above the rest though is the outdoor space available, the private gardens mean the children can be outdoors all day but the woodland (where the goats and chickens live!) and meadow are an amazing addition to the outdoor provision, my son is moving to the Forest School in September and he can't wait. I couldn't recommend Sixpenny enough!

We couldn't recommend them highly enough. Keep up the amazing work, Team Sixpenny!

My daughter has been at sixpenny for 6 months now and has gained so much confidence since starting, everyone is so kind and encouraging. The facilities they have particularly the outside area and the animals are outstanding and an added bonus. The management are helpful, informative and efficient - we enjoy receiving updates on the app to see what she has been doing throughout the day.

My daughter has been attending sixpenny for around 6 months now and after a couple of settling in sessions the dropping off process became much easier and this was down to the hard work my daughter's keyworker and piers done to make her feel at home.

She loves attending nursery and uses up so much of her energy here. She has flourished ever since starting and has become a very confident, sociable toddler.

My partner and I absolutely love recieving updates during the day via the app. We are really happy we chose Sixpenny Nursery and recommend to anyone sending your child there.

The recent refurbishment has improved the equipment

Sixpenny is absolutely amazing! They supported my eldest through pre-school, and now my youngest is thriving in their nursery since 9 months old. My daughter has become so sociable and happy to go to nursery, and the staff have been incredibly supportive through my health issues, providing a real sense of security for my daughter on days I couldn't be there. Plus, the food must be delicious because both my children have eaten so well there!

We were initially a little nervous leaving our daughter having been through a big life change, but from day one, she has settled extremely well and very much looks forward to going.

I can strongly say we love it at Sixpenny. Our daughter has been there since 10 months old and she will be there until heading to primary school in September. She loves it there! It's clean, tidy, organised, fun, adventurous, they learn loads and she always comes home smiling. We are sending our second baby there as we adore it so much and would recommend to anyone needing nursery care in the area.

They've recently done a lot of upgrades and reno work through the nursery - it's outstanding plus the staff are always incredibly helpful and kind.

My son has been attending since the baby room, he absolutely loves it. He's been supported with transitioning through the classes, he's always smiling going in, and the same coming out, always excited to tell me what he's done and show me things he's made. He's currently in the forest school, and is thriving with his speech, motor skills and social skills, I can't thank Sixpenny enough!

Sixpenny is an amazing nursery, all the staff are friendly and helpful as well as professional and great at what they do. My son loves his nursery days and is thriving there too. Nothing is too much for them and they're always willing to help. Iv been using sixpenny for many years for all of my children and will always recommend the nursery to anyone that asks.

My child attends Sixpenny Nursery in Devizes, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the care they provide.

They are a fantastic company with truly wonderful staff. The team are always friendly, approachable, and incredibly supportive. They consistently keep me in the loop about everything - whether it's upcoming events, activities happening at the nursery, or updates on how my child is progressing. I really appreciate how they let me know if my child is excelling in certain areas or if there's anything they may need a little extra support with.

The nursery itself is always clean, tidy, and well organised, which gives me great peace of mind. It's clear that the staff take pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for the children.

Most importantly, I know my child is very well looked after. I feel completely confident leaving them in the care of such a dedicated and caring team. I would highly recommend Sixpenny Nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing and professi

We continue to be very happy with Sixpenny. Our 3rd child is now in the baby room, she has settled so well and that is a total credit to the wonderful staff. She is exposed to a range of activities, toys and spaces to play and explore. We really can't thank the staff enough for putting us always at ease leaving our children all day.

Both of my children have been incredibly happy here and have grown so much during their time at Sixpenny. It truly feels like a home from home, and I always feel confident knowing my children are being well cared for.

I can't thank the nursery enough for the support, kindness, and genuine care they show every single day. We're so grateful to have found such an amazing place for our twins to grow.

Our twins are always happy going in and come home smiling every day. Sometimes they don't want to come home! :) Couldn't ask for a better place for them.

The staff at The Old Station Nursery in Devizes are simply wonderful-friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about supporting every child. From the moment we visited, it was clear how much they care about creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident, and valued.

What really sets this nursery apart is their unique approach to learning. With outdoor spaces, woodland areas, a mud kitchen, and even pygmy goats, children have endless opportunities to explore, be curious, and engage with nature. The Forest School-inspired activities make learning exciting and hands-on, helping children develop both skills and confidence in a fun, creative way. I can't recommend this nursery highly enough!

Sixpenny is such a lovely nursery - our minds at ease from our initial tour. Our child has been in babies for a year now and absolutely loves it. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming whilst providing excellent care. The facilities are brilliant, the ongoing refurbishments are looking fabulous and there are great outside spaces for play. We love hearing about what the children have been up to during the day, they regularly get to participate in wonderful experiences like the recent visit of exotic creatures. It also amazes us the variety of food provided by the nursery, providing real peace of mind our child is eating well.

Thank you so much for everything you do.
