the refurbishment has resulted in bright, clean, considerately equipped spaces. But the feel/culture of the nursery is what made us choose it for our youngest- it's so obvious that the staff love their jobs and are respected and cared for by the management team e.g. there's now a dedicated staff room - it might not sound like something a child needs, but as a mother who often needs 5 minutes it means staff get a proper break to recharge. This culture results in the most loving care for the babies. Our child adores her key worker and I'm fully confident leaving her in the care of all nursery staff. Everyone greets her with big smiles, warmth and nose wipes when needed! 100% happy

The staff are incredibly kind, approachable, and genuinely care about each child. There's a great balance of learning, creative play, and outdoor time, and the range of activities keeps our son constantly engaged and excited. It truly feels like a second home-a real family environment. We're so grateful for the love and care they provide every day. Highly recommended!

The team is incredibly nurturing, and I always feel confident knowing he's happy, learning, and playing with children his age. They also share daily updates, which we really appreciate-it's great to stay informed about his day.

The nursery was recently refurbished and looks fresh and welcoming.

The only aspect we personally weren't happy with was the occasional inclusion of sugary or processed items on the menu. But, the team have been extremely understanding and flexible, adapting meals to suit our child's dietary preferences.

Overall, we'd highly recommend this nursery!

It feels like the ideal environment for our children to come and learn and play. There's a really wide and interesting range of activities each week - music, dancing, yoga, baking, languages and the pre-schoolers go on regular trips to the local park, library and community. Most importantly, we can feel how much the team care about the children - there's a big warm smile when we arrive, the door is always open for a chat, and the boys' key workers are constantly coming up with new ways to engage them and support their development.

He's learnt so much already, including social and motor skills, and has become so confident. The staff are all incredibly warm and caring. The baby room was recently refurbished as well, it's such a great and homely environment. We would highly recommend Old Station Nursery.

There is a true partnership between the parents and staff, especially when it comes to matters such as toilet training, where lots of support was given for our daughter and us. My daughter really enjoys nursery and has made great friends and has great relationships with the staff. She has grown and developed well and is confident in herself. There are lots of celebrations across the year and even little touches such as inviting parents in to celebrate Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc. we will all be sad when it will be time for her to move on from the nursery.
