Day Nurseries Owned by The Old Station Nursery in Devon

I have two children at hdc and both started at 16 months, when both started it was very hard for me leaving them, but they both settled within a couple of weeks, the staff were nothing but brilliant kept me updated and kids were very well cared for.

My kids run into nursery which is lovely to see, I get good updates, and I love the 8 week reviews we get.

Staff are always friendly, helpful and are always talked about in our house especially by my 4 year old.

I love the different gardens and settings as they move up classes, gives them new rooms to explore, not just stuck in one room.

Big thank you to all the staff for making my life easier knowing there well cared for and happy.

My child has attended HDC for just over 3 years and has loved every second. From the caring staff to the brilliant activities, outings and all the facilities for them to use. I couldn't wish for a better setting. Thank you.

Our son absolutely loves going to nursery and always goes in with a smile. The team are extremely attentive, friendly and caring. His language skills have come on leaps and bounds since joining, as have his motor skills. This will be partly just a fact of him getting older but is also down to the encouragement and support provided by the nursery staff.

A fantastic nursery, lots of activities for our 28 month old, he naps well here and eats well. I am updated promptly throughout the day and feel reassured by this. The whole team are very caring who look after my son and are supporting his growth and development.

Both me and my daughter have had an amazing experience with HDC Nursery. All the staff have been so welcoming and supportive and always go above and beyond for all the children.

My son seems to love his time at the nursery, all the different activities that are set up for the babies daily interest him. He's grown so much in confidence.

I'm very pleased with the amount of time they spend outside, it's very good.

The team is very caring and you can tell, because he doesn't protest at handover.

My daughter has recently started at HDC Dartington and we have had a wholly positive experience. She seems to really love it there. The staff are great- very attentive and caring, And they make real effort with the range of activities each day. The babies get given a range of different foods. They also try and spend time outdoors where possible. The communication from nursery is excellent- both day to day from the team and from management. Overall I would highly recommend.

Such a lovely nursery, great outdoors space where the children spend lots of time whatever the weather, staff are very friendly, great communication skills and handovers at the end of the day, kept up to date on the app with lots of information and photographs daily.

My 3rd child just started nursery in Dartington and I'm same pleased now with the nursery, their amazing staff and the educational time children are receiving there, as I was 10 years ago when my son started. We are bilingual family and all our little ones was struggling with their speech/talk level before starting at HDC. The team offer all the support possible to help them. Our child has been at HDC Kingsteignton since she was 7 months old. She is always so happy to go into nursery in the mornings and always comes out with a smile on her face. She likes to tell us all about her day and also talks very fondly of the staff in the toddler room.

Our daughter absolutely loves this nursery. The staff are always there to support her with her learning and emotional development. She has been attending since the age of one year old, she is now three. We have seen her develop into a confident, chatty and happy little person during this time and believe the nursery and their staff have helped us to make this happen.

The nursery managers have been really helpful and adaptive to my situation and needs. The staff are always available to discuss anything, and you never feel rushed at drop off/pick up. The use of the app is really good, and is nice to see updates through the day. My son is always kept clean eg nappy changes. The health and safety is taken seriously. The food variety and frequency is great. Most importantly my son is very happy and content there. There is always nice activities for the children. The nursery is clean and modern. I am really pleased with how my son has settled, it's a great nursery with fabulous staff.

All of my 3 children have attended HDC and my son is there now. They have all absolutely loved it. The staff are kind and welcoming and all of my children have been happy and excited to go. There's a wide range of toys and activities and they have a great outdoor space. I genuinely have nothing negative to say at all.

Our daughter started here at 11 months old and we have been so happy with the care she receives. The nursery genuinely feels like a home away from home. The staff are incredibly kind, adaptable and clearly care deeply about the children.

It gives us complete confidence leaving our daughter knowing she is in such a nurturing environment. The children enjoy lovely developmental activities during the day including sensory, creative and play based learning, which she clearly loves.

We also really appreciate the amazing home cooked food the children are given. We feel very lucky to have found such a warm and supportive nursery.

I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe, loving, and inspiring place for their little one.

Staff are lovely and knowledgeable. My daughter loves it and has grown her confidence helping her to progress in many ways. HDC is an expensive nursery but id prefer to pay for some where i can trust will take the best care of my child. If there are any concerns, staff are very approachable.

I highly rate HDC Dartington. My daughter absolutely loves it there. The staff are brilliant and the range of activities and facilities available mean that I know she always has a great day. I also really like how I'm kept up to date with what she is up to.
