St Nicholas Day Nursery

We cannot recommend St Nicholas enough. Theo joined when he was just 10 months old and has now left as a confident, kind and incredibly bright nearly 5 year old.

The staff have been such a huge part of his early years and have supported him through so many milestones. They have always shown him so much patience, encouragement and understanding, taking the time to really get to know him and his individual personality.

They have also supported our family through some difficult times, and we will always be incredibly grateful for the care and love they have shown Theo.

We genuinely feel that the nurturing environment at St Nicholas has helped shape the wonderful little boy he is today. He absolutely loved his time there and will miss everyone so much.

Thank you to all the staff for everything you have done for Theo over the years. We feel so lucky that he got to experience St Nicholas and will always look back on his time there with so much love and gratitude.

St Nicholas staff, keep being you, you make a huge difference to so many families and made the transition of trusting strangers, so much easier :)

We have always felt confident that he was happy, safe and well cared for, and communication from the nursery has been excellent. We're incredibly grateful for everything they have done for him and very sad that his time there has come to an end. They have given him such a positive start and prepared him brilliantly for his next chapter at school.

My son loves coming to nursery and will always come home eager to tell us what he has been up to during the day and which friends he has played with. The updates we receive on the app are always beautifully written and it is lovely to get photos of our boy having the best time. He has such a strong bond with his keyperson and the other girls in his room are always on hand for advice. All staff I have spoken to during his time here have all been so polite and very knowledgeable.

I would highly recommend St Nicholas Nursey to any prospective parent looking for a day nursery with a real family/ home from home feel

Amelia has thrived since being at St Nicholas. We have been very pleased with her care.

Our daughter loves going to St Nicholas Nursery and we couldn't be happier. You can see the enthusiasm and care that staff show every child. They know the children so well and went above and beyond to help my daughter settle in. They have plenty of outdoor space and it's great that they can play and learn about nature. I also really like that they learn about lots of different cultures and festivals. It's such a warm and welcoming nursery, and so helpful that they offer a range of hours to suit you.

My daughter loves it here! She will talk (at length for a 2 year old!) about what she does at nursery, teach me the songs they sing and talk about her key workers and her little friends even on the days she is not at nursery! It is so re-assuring to know that you are leaving your child in the care of such a wonderful team who provide so many opportunities for engaging activities which nuture their development.

We have been happy with both foxes and badgers and our son has been kept busy and entertained with new learnings. We often get good feedback from the staff and daily debriefs of how his day goes. Thank you team.

As a family we love St. Nicholas Day Nursery. My son is in Squirrels room and the team there are all incredible. Its the small things that make such a difference. They learnt his name within days, he clearly has bonded with all of them - happily going in with a smile on his face and the feedback everyday we get is comprehensive. We have been there for 3 months and it already feels like home away from home.

We love St Nicholas nursery so much! Hallie has come on so much since being here! Everyone is fabulous and so kind! We couldn't recommend the nursery enough.

St Nicholas Nursery exceeds my expectations every time. The children are well catered for and staff, in my opinion, go above and beyond every time. My twins are thriving at the nursery and really enjoy it. Thanks for all that you do!

We've had a wonderful experience with this nursery so far. I have noticed that staff is attentive, friendly and very patient. With their great help and understanding my son has been settling in very well and he is less crying every day. Overall we could not be happier with the nursery.

The leadership has also greatly impressed me. Their communication is fast, throughout and I feel very confident in their decisions and know the children are all in brilliant hands. I'd highly recommend!

My second child at this nursery is now in his last year and started when he was 8 months.

I always feel so confident that my son is well looked after, cared for & kept busy.

My son (& now older son who also attended) is always so full of joy in the mornings dropping off & pick up.

We now have our second child attending St Nicholas nursery and couldn't be happier! Despite moving away from the area,there was never any doubt that our second would join as soon as he was able as I know how much the staff care for the children. Whenever I drop off or collect,the children are met with such affection that there can be no doubt about the quality of relationships there. The staff are always happy to talk about any concerns and are so supportive! As a mum,I have felt supported when at times, parenting felt tougher than usual. I honestly could not be happier!
