We are very happy with the nursery. The staff are lovely and I really enjoy the updates they send us throughout the day.
Our daughter has settled in well with the encouragement of the staff. She gets on well with the staff and other children. She enjoys the food prepared there.
The staff are helpful
if I ever call in with queries or to check in on our daughter. They are very thoughtful and considerate.

My son has been attending the nursery for almost 12 months now and has truly thrived during his time there. The staff have been amazing in supporting his development needs and consistently keep us informed about how he is progressing and what he is learning. I really appreciate being able to communicate
any specific areas I'd like them to focus on, and it's clear they take this on board.
He thoroughly enjoys his time at nursery and takes part in a wide range of activities. The staff have also been very supportive in helping him transition into Tots One and Two, always taking his individual needs into consideration. It's reassuring to see that he comes home happy each day, and it's clear he has had a positive experience. Even on mornings when he may feel a little unsettled, the staff with him in a kind, thoughtful, and caring way, helping him settle quickly.

We are so happy to send our daughter to the nursery! From nine months she has come on leaps and bounds but the real difference in the last few weeks! She loves story time, outside play and the different tasks! My child can be quiet in big groups but the team know her personality and have accommodated
so she can shine, her confidence has really grown! I would happily recommend this nursery to any new parent. The app really helps keep up to date with what they have been doing throughout the day and it is a really comfort when you see an update when at work! Thankyou to all of the team for the kindness, consistency and patience!

The team at this nursery are fantastic and have been brilliant with our twin boys. The twins have continued to make excellent progress whilst being at the nursery and love attending! Staff are always friendly, very informative and support not only the children but the parents too. I would highly recommend
checking them out if you have little ones in the Northfield / West Heath area. They have great resource and amazing facilities.
The fees are decent too, we do not have to worry about supplying food or nappies. You get excellent value for money, especially if you have more than one little one attend the nursery. Highly recommend this nursery to all parents.

The Old Station Nursery has been an absolute breathe of fresh air, providing a warm and nurturing environment that made our child's transition into childcare incredibly smooth. The staff are exceptionally patient and attentive, taking their time to understand my child's unique personality and needs,
which has built a foundation of trust from the start. Seeing our little one go from hesitant to excitedly running through the doors each morning is a testament to the genuine care and position energy the team pours into everyday. Their support has helped our child settle in and has also given us a peace of mind knowing that they are in a safe, stimulating and happy place.

Such a lovely, nurturing environment. My little girl has been attending since she was 9 months old, and she's absolutely thriving. She genuinely looks forward to going each day and is always so excited to tell me all about what she's done when I pick her up. It's clear she's happy and well cared for.
The meals are always wholesome, and she eats really well there too. I couldn't be happier with the nursery.

My daughter has been at the nursery for almost 12 months and settled in really well. Every member of staff who has looked after her has been so lovely and always make a point of introducing themselves if I haven't met them yet which is really important to me. The nursery keep me updated on her progress
regularly and also run stay and play sessions for special occasions which is so nice to see how she plays at nursery. The managers have also been really helpful with any administrative queries. I would highly recommend this nursery my daughter is so happy there.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. Staff are very attentive and have ensured my child has settled into nursery well. The facilities in the rooms are great, plenty for my child to explore and learn! Every day the staff set up exciting activities to help with learning and development. I love that the staff
build on my child's confidence and independence. The outdoor space is great, full of activities and fun for the children. The views are an added bonus! Meals are all made from scratch at the nursery, they are well balance and nutritious. My child loves the food provided, almost always eating everything offered!
All staff members are wonderful, they are friendly, welcoming, kind and encouraging.
I would 100% recommend Sandhills, it is an excellent nursery.

Our boy has attended since he was just over 1. He has developed into a lovely confident young boy. He has days where he is quite clingy and doesnt want to go but he is soon reassured, sometimes with a cuddle which is just lovely. We've had moments where he has been a bit challenging but the love and
respect they show to continue to help him learn are really shining through with his understanding . It feels like part of the family because they take time to get to know your child and what his needs are and how they can help him develop. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I appreciate everything they do for my son.

My son has been attending this nursery for just under a year now, and I'll be honest - I was a very nervous dad at first about leaving him with what felt like strangers. I was extremely picky when looking at different nurseries, but I'm so grateful we stumbled across this one.
From the start, the staff
made us feel welcome and reassured. The teachers are fantastic and truly go above and beyond for the children. Over the past year, my son has learned so much, grown in confidence, and made some lovely friends.
The teachers have been an incredible support and have become some of his favourite people, especially the ones who have been with him since he first started. It's really comforting as a parent to see how happy he is going in each day.
I would absolutely recommend this nursery to other parents. If you're unsure, try what I did - book a trial day and see how it feels. I'm confident you won't be disappointed.

This nursery has really helped my daughter to flourish. She struggles with her speech but I've noticed a huge improvement in her speaking over just a couple of months of her being there. She has developed a lovely relationship with her key worker and is always happy when I tell her she's going into
nursery. On my initial visit to the nursery, I noticed children running up to the management to cuddle them and that really made me feel secure to leave my daughter here. I love the app that they use because it helps me feel I am able to know the lovely activities she is involved in through the day. Every day different activities are done with them. They have a wonderful garden and encourage planting and learning about caring for the garden. And the menu of healthy food, cooked on site, provided is just exceptional! I always feel I can approach both senior members of staff with any queries. And both of the key workers with my daughter are very friendly and helpful. We love it here!! Thanks

I viewed the nursery in April 2025 when my daughter was four months old and immediately felt welcomed by Claire, the manager. The settling-in sessions were fantastic - I was encouraged to stay as long as I needed and even offered extra sessions.
When she started in October, staff were very understanding
about her milk and egg intolerances and always reassure me about meal alternatives. I've always been able to call and speak directly to the room staff, which gives me peace of mind.
Mandy, Megan and Sarah are lovely and care deeply.
My daughter has settled beautifully and never cries at drop-off.
The only downside is the space - the baby room and garden are quite small and could be more baby-friendly. Overall, the staff make it a positive experience.

My son aged 14 months started the nursery one half day per week. I was slightly apprehensive about how he would settle in as he is very clingy and not used to being cared for by someone else . I was amazed and delighted how quickly he settled. The staff our amazing. He really enjoys going to nursery,
so much so I increased his hours . His development has come on leaps and bounds too, all in the space of a couple of months.

A lovely nursery with fantastic staff, space, and care. I've just had my third child start there after seeing how wonderfully my first two developed during their time at Wylde Green.
All of my children have had so much fun there and always come out telling me about the great activities they've done
during the day.
The team are very supportive with key milestones such as walking, talking, potty training, and giving up dummies. They're also really receptive when you ask for support with things like capping naps, helping with numbers, or encouraging good eating habits.
I honestly couldn't recommend this nursery more!

My son been at this nursery for 1 and half year and I couldn't have chosen better for him. When I was searching for a nursery I came to this website and saw various nurseries but the Wylde Green one stood up.
All the workers are very kind and lovely. They care a lot for my son and the other kids and
he loves everyday that he goes to the nursery.
A especial thank you to Donna, the nursery manager for always being so attentive and caring. I could name all of the key workers but the list would be long .
