The Old Station Nursery Warwick provides high-quality care and learning experiences for children from 2.5 years to when they turn 5. Located within the grounds of Heathcote Primary School, the nursery helps children become familiar with their surroundings, ensuring a smooth transition to school when the time comes.

For the youngest children, the nursery offers a nurturing and homely environment where they can explore, develop early communication skills, and build strong relationships with their key carers. As children grow, a range of engaging activities supports their natural curiosity and development.

There is a strong emphasis on school readiness, encouraging independence, confidence, and essential life skills. Child-friendly cooking classes, creative areas, a home corner, and a cosy book corner provide opportunities for imaginative play, problem-solving, and early literacy. Children are supported in leading their own learning, fostering independence and preparing for their next steps.

Outdoors, children of all ages can enjoy a spacious play area featuring a climbing frame, tyres, and a mud kitchen. Older children also benefit from access to Heathcote Primary School’s larger field and playground, providing additional space to develop physical skills and confidence.

Our daughter started preschool in January 2025-her first time in childcare away from family. It's been a big adjustment, but the incredible staff have made it so positive. Their empathy and natural connection with children have supported not only our daughter, but us as parents too. Her confidence has
grown, and her speech-which was previously delayed-has flourished; she's now full of stories about her day. Drop-offs can still be tough, but the reassurance and care from the team mean so much. She comes home smiling, proud of her drawings and adventures. Huge thanks to the staff you're all a credit to the organisation and we feel so lucky to have you.

Amazing Preschool for my son and my eldest son attended also. They make my sons day enjoyable and he has come on massively since attending.
I have no worries when leaving him despite sometimes him being slightly teary. He always comes out having had the best day!

A lovely preschool where all the staff are really friendly and helpful. Our daughter has a great time there and they really take pride in their job and ensure that the children are happy and taken care of. Our boy has had the best care here.
The preschool always had lots of new creative activities and focused on their emotions and kindness values.
There was always new activities, from yoga, to gardening, to caring for animals.
The transition into Heathcote school was made very easy too, especially
with the same wrap around care provided as when in preschool. All the key workers were very engaging and made endless paper aeroplane as demanded by our kid.

My eldest son attended here for his preschool year when it was formally known with another name in 2018. When I had my 2nd child I was straight on to the manager to arrange for him to join there too. The girls are fantastic! My eldest was more confident and outgoing but my youngest is the opposite and
I knew he would get the care and nurture he desperately needed and I wasn't wrong. Prior to him starting here he did 12 months in another setting and was a very emotional boy and was nonverbal in the setting. Now every morning he hugs me goodbye and stays for his full session unlike previously and the best part is he's happy the whole time! My child's classmate is the daughter of a very special lady that was the manager of the nursery during my eldest's time at the nursery and I was so pleased to see her still there whilst her mum is working for the same nursery in a different location. Evidently, this is not a nursery with a high staff turnover like others I have had experience of. By far the best!.

Our time at TOSN has been fantastic. My first child attended when he turned three, my second is currently there and my third will start when she's three. The staff have been outstanding, I cannot praise them enough. They've been understanding, gentle, and my children thrived under their care.

I can not speak highly enough of this nursery!
All the staff are brilliant and have worked absolute wonders with my little girl.
When she started she would only eat toast, now she enjoys every single meal she has at nursery! They have worked with her and us and have worked their magic.
She loves
the activities, especially dough disco and yoga.
She looks forward to every single day that she goes and I honestly think she would rather be there than at home!
Highly recommend.

The best nursery by far. A home away from home. The staff there are very understanding and helpful and always think about what is best for the child. I feel completely comfortable with the choice of leaving my son there and confident that he is happy to go there to learn and play.

My son attends three days a week and moved from his previous nursery a few months ago. I have seen a huge positive change in his confidence since starting. The staff are all amazing and brilliant with the kids. Overall a really great experience, couldn't fault them. Also love the fact they offer school

Great nursery for our son, amazing staff who always take the time to explain everything our child has been doing that day. Never feel rushed and always feel like any questions or concerns are answered and heard. The only thing that would make it even better is if there was allocated parking for the
nursery itself as sometimes it can get very busy with the school rush. Everything else is perfect!

Excellent stay-and-play section at the nursery. Great activities for the kids according to the season holiday including messy play and arts and crafts. All staff was friendly as always and it was fun interacting with my child within the nursery. She was very excited to show me where she usually plays.

The staff at this nursery are great. Really kind and caring and friendly. They do some great activities with the children.
The only downsides are the outside space could be bigger and also the food can be repetitive at times. The back office staff need to improve as invoices are often late or incorrect.

My daughter has been attending this pre school for nearly a year now. She has come on so much. She's always happy when she's dropped off and picked up. The staff go above and beyond with the children. The pre school is a home from home environment. She's always learning something new and loves to tell

Hello, I'm Shannon and I'm the Manager here at The Old Station Nursery Warwick. I am qualified Level 4 Childhood and Early Years Studies.


Here at The Old Station Nursery Warwick, our kind and caring team has created a happy, safe, stimulating environment for the children. We have worked to develop a home away from home setting producing (what we call) the Heathcote family. With exciting, sensory play daily and an all-inclusive environment, inside and out, children will develop and flourish into their own unique personality.
