The Old Station Nursery Bampton

The nursery has plenty of space for varied activities, and it's clear that safety and development are the top priorities. My child is happy, engaged, and learning new things every day. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Great Nursery, really good staff. Everyone has been great to my daughter, it's been lovely seeing her bond with Hannan and progress recently. I would reccomend the old station team at Bampton massively :).

My only constructive feedback is the nursery is like a sauna in the summer, please get air con & the baby outdoor space is too hot most of the summer, so other outdoor options should be offered - overheating babies is not idea and it affects my daughter skin terribly. Thank you to all though. A very happy parent.

Our daughter has now been going to Bampton nursery for 6 months and loves it. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and you get a sense that they truly care about the children that they look after. We have a detailed handover at pick up time about how the day has gone and they're always helpful with working on targets at nursery and at home. The app is incredibly detailed and it's really nice to see the pictures of activities during the day.

My son started nursery in January 2025 I was very nervous about anyone else looking after him as he has a rare blood disorder. The old station nursery have been absolutely fabulous with him and notify me if he has an accident, all the staff at the nursery are lovely and they are great with the children, I get daily updates on when my child has had a nappy change, when he eats and when he sleeps + adorable pictures of him. I viewed a few nursery's and I choose this one because it has a warm familiar feel to it and it's not to big and overwhelming. Highly recommended!

Our little boy has attended The Old Station Nursery Bampton since August 2023. Our little one is thriving there, all thanks to superb care, brilliant food and both fun and educational activities. He always looks forward to seeing his friends and the staff!

The staff at the nursery are amazing and friendly! They go above and beyond and feel like a family there! I trust them wholeheartedly with my son. The girls are all so helpful and I can't thank them enough!

Our daughter has been attending The Old Station Nursery Bampton since August 2023 and we are so pleased with how she has settled in. The staff in the Rainbow Room are fantastic and she's bonded really well with her key person. It's clear that the staff really care about her and her development and the regular updates and photos we receive on what she has been up to are great. It's a shame the outdoor space isn't bigger but the staff do their best with the space they've got. We would recommend this nursery to anyone.

We’ve had a thoroughly positive experience with The Old Station Nursery Bampton, all the the staff are caring and attentive, with our son enjoying his days at the nursery. The nursery has consistently supported our son in all areas of development.

Our little girl absolutely loves going to nursery and we couldn’t be happier with the care she receives. She did struggle to settle in at first but the staff in the baby room were amazing and did everything they could to support her, which we really appreciated. Her key worker is absolutely lovely and always takes the time to let us know what she’s been up to and how she’s progressing with her communication and motor skills etc. They do lots of lovely activities, which are always different and our daughter really enjoys them. They have a lovely little outdoor area and enjoy use of the school playground in the holidays. Despite having a routine in the room, they’re really flexible and happy to take onboard our suggestions as to what may help our daughter with her naps or fussy eating!

Since my son has been attending the nursery he has come on leaps and bounds with his development and personality. He enjoys the days he attends and we feel that we could not have picked a better nursery. A big part of this is the staff, who are always welcoming and whose interaction with the children is second to none.

The Old Station Nursery Bampton staff are warm and friendly and our son smiles when he sees them. I can only comment on the baby room but their facilities are lovely and clean and they've done a great job with the small outside space they have. They sometimes join the rooms too so more interaction with bigger kids and the larger outside space. The menu gives great variety too.

My son is 3 and he likes attending nursery. The nursery staff are welcoming and create a well-organised day for him. He likes the food and his key worker is brilliant with him. We’ve been really pleased with the nursery overall and recommend it.

They keep me up to date via the app on what's been happening and when she is collected explain what she has done in the day/eaten and nap duration. This is fantastic.

Our son loves the nursery in Bampton and his key worker, they have a great relationship but all the staff are really friendly and he has a great bond with all staff. I couldn't recommend the nursery highly enough. He really enjoys the activities, particularly the yoga!

I would highly recommend The Old Station Nursery Bampton to anyone looking for childcare. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming and genuinely care for the children. I have two children in the nursery who are both very different characters to one another, and I love that they are both given the freedom to be themselves and explore the paths which they are interested in, rather than being forced into compulsory activities. The indoor/outdoor mix is lovely and my children always walk out with a huge smile on their face. I couldn’t ask for more.

Both our grandchildren thoroughly enjoy their time at the nursery and have really thrived in the environment. The staff are always warm, welcoming and helpful and have created a wonderful bond with the children. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The ladies are brilliant with our little boy! He has come along leaps and bounds since starting at Bampton and loves going to nursery! Can’t fault any of the staff at the nursery they are all so friendly!
