We couldn't be happier with the nursery. Our daughter bounds in everyday and always has a big smile on her face. All staff are caring and helpful with a genuine passion for looking after little ones. Highly recommended.

We had a tough time with our little boy who constantly cried at his last nursery during drop off. Little effort was made to fix this issue, which meant we decided to move our son to Sunhill. I cannot praise them enough. The whole team - Jan, Lisa, Laura, Izzy, Emma, Sarah, Sue (sorry if I missed others
out!) are amazing. They had a real plan - tactics, experience, ideas and most importantly, passion. They really care. And the whole team are so fun! Every time we pick our son up they're doing something, getting into mischief and he's now very happy - as are all the kids. The space is fabulous, outside and inside and they are amazing at entertaining the kids. We're allowed into the room so we get a real feel of what is going on which we never had before. From a personal perspective I am really aware that they are aware of your feelings as a parent and how difficult drop of can be. I can't recommend them enough. Best in town!

Our older daughter attended Sunhill Preschool until she left to start school then our younger son started when he was 1. We've always had a very positive experience. The staff in the baby room were wonderful at helping my son to settle and forming bonds with him that were lovely to see and reassuring
when leaving a little one for the first time in childcare. The nursery offers lots of fun activities and outside space and the children always seem to be having a great time. I appreciate the updates via app from the nursery. All of the staff clearly care for the children and are very engaged and caring.

We joined Sunhill in January 2025 when we had moved out of London and just landed in the area and were quite emotional about leaving our previous nursery. But we shouldn't have worried - our daughter had a great transition and settled in well. There is a good balance of structured activity and freeform/
Montessori type play. The outdoor space is great and the children are encouraged to flow in and out. I think it's a really good sign when our daughter comes back showing signs of the mud kitchen!
She has made great relationships there with both children and staff and has had an easy transition up into pre-school recently. There is a great community and parents are encouraged to invite everyone in the class to parties, which has been really useful for us being new to the area. We would thoroughly recommend Sunhill, which is a really warm, welcoming place to be part of.

St Nicholas is a wonderful nursery with a real family feel.
From the settling-in sessions onwards, the team have been very kind, patient and supportive. Our little boy loves going in each day and often talks about the staff by name when we pick him up, which says everything about how happy and secure
he feels there. It's such a reassurance knowing he's in such a nurturing environment.

Quite simply an oustanding nursery. Wonderful staff who really care for the kids and get to know each and every one of them, nothing is ever too much trouble and they alway have lots of fun activities planned for the day. My son has truly blossomed here.

Since my children began at this nursery, they have learnt various things that they are able to apply to every day doings which I have been really amazed at. My children have also gained a lot of confidence within themselves as they develop into their own characters since staring at sunhill in April
2025. Speech and communication was something I worried a lot with my children due to coming from a bilingual household. But the nursery has acknowledged those cultural influences in order to support communication with my children. The nursery teachers and management are excellent at their work and communicate very promptly and well regarding all care of a child. I have most definitely seen a big difference in my children's development and abilities as they have attended!

As a family we love St. Nicholas Day Nursery. My son is in Squirrels room and the team there are all incredible. Its the small things that make such a difference. They learnt his name within days, he clearly has bonded with all of them - happily going in with a smile on his face and the feedback everyday
we get is comprehensive. We have been there for 3 months and it already feels like home away from home.

From the very beginning, this nursery has felt like an extension of our family. My second daughter, who is highly sensitive, started nursery in September 2025, and the care and understanding she receives continues to exceed all expectations.


The staff are incredible, with special mention to Lucy,

Charlotte, Jan, Fatima and Anna, who consistently go above and beyond. When food allergies arose for my daughter, they adapted immediately, putting clear measures in place and taking all the stress off me as a parent. Their reassurance and proactive approach have been invaluable.


What truly sets this nursery apart is how deeply they care. Everything I share about my daughter is remembered and reflected in how they adapt her day to suit her individual needs. I trust them implicitly and know she is safe, understood and genuinely cared for. This nursery truly feels like extended family

We are very happy with our choice of nursery for our son - Sunhill staff go above and beyond, consistently, to ensure his (and our) needs are met. We had another little one born last year and the entire team have been extremely supportive, for example keeping an eye on the baby whilst I drop off / collect
our eldest. We feel he is already part of the Sunhill family and look forward to him joining soon. The team are all so kind and helpful, thank you all!

We've had a wonderful experience with this nursery so far. I have noticed that staff is attentive, friendly and very patient. With their great help and understanding my son has been settling in very well and he is less crying every day. Overall we could not be happier with the nursery.
