The main thing that makes this nursery outstanding is the staff. The effort they put into helping our daughter settle in was amazing. They arrange different activities every day that are stimulating and fun and we are already noticing our daughter's development coming on leaps and bounds. Our daughter is a very fussy eater and the care and attention they put into helping her through mealtimes is so appreciated. Even her eating is coming on since she started this nursery only within this month. The app updates and photos are also such a bonus. Thank you so much to all of the staff at Sunhill for all that you do - it doesnt go unnoticed!

Sunhill has been a saving grace! After an awful experience trying to settle in at another nursery, with staff that quite frankly had no interest and didn't want to be there. I was left feeling like a neurotic first time mum, but my gut said it just wasn't right. After looking at a couple more nurseries, we found Sunhill. The most welcoming staff, warm & friendly atmosphere and emotionally invested in our little baby girl. Nothing was too much. They cared and wanted us to feel at ease, making the transition for me so much more barrage and removed anxieties. Our baby was all smiles and loved it, which is the same for us as first time parents. Day nursery of dreams!

In particular, we are extremely grateful to Caitlin who has a lovely bond with our son and who has gone above and beyond in helping him to settle and have fun at nursery.

Jan has been amazing. I needed some urgent help to update my funding and add additional hours for my son. She resolved the issue very promptly and made the process as smooth as possible. She has consistently dealt with any queries I have had, since my son joined the nursery over a year ago, alongside the deputy managers Becca and Shannon. The strong leadership team evidently contributes to the happy nursery environment. He is always excited to go to nursery and the team always go above and beyond to ensure he is happy, healthy and meeting all of his developmental milestones. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has attended Sunhill since he was 9 months old, he is now 2.5 years old and he absolutely loves going each week. We can't compliment the staff enough. They are all so lovely and caring towards the children. We've noticed a huge change in our childs development, he is constantly learning something new. We are very glad we chose to send our child to Sunhill.

Amelia has thrived since being at St Nicholas. We have been very pleased with her care.

Our daughter loves going to St Nicholas Nursery and we couldn't be happier. You can see the enthusiasm and care that staff show every child. They know the children so well and went above and beyond to help my daughter settle in. They have plenty of outdoor space and it's great that they can play and learn about nature. I also really like that they learn about lots of different cultures and festivals. It's such a warm and welcoming nursery, and so helpful that they offer a range of hours to suit you.

My daughter loves it here! She will talk (at length for a 2 year old!) about what she does at nursery, teach me the songs they sing and talk about her key workers and her little friends even on the days she is not at nursery! It is so re-assuring to know that you are leaving your child in the care of such a wonderful team who provide so many opportunities for engaging activities which nuture their development.

So grateful for taking on our daughter on short notice. Her progress within the first week has been incredible. Thank you all.

What really makes the nursery though is the staff - they're kind, very experienced and genuinely care about the children. They were also amazing at supporting us through potty training.

My daughter has attended sunhill since she was 8months old, she is now nearly three. She has loved all three rooms she has been in so far and excited for her next room change. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, she often comes home talking about the nursery workers and the friends she's made there. My son is about to start the same nursery next month and it makes me happy knowing he will be looked after well. I highly recommend this nursery.

Amazing nursery with a warm, welcoming environment. The staff are fantastic-friendly, easy to communicate with, and they always keep us well updated. My son is very happy here and takes part in lots of fun and engaging activities. The management team is outstanding and clearly dedicated to providing the best care for the children. We have been happy with both foxes and badgers and our son has been kept busy and entertained with new learnings. We often get good feedback from the staff and daily debriefs of how his day goes. Thank you team.

We had a tough time with our little boy who constantly cried at his last nursery during drop off. Little effort was made to fix this issue, which meant we decided to move our son to Sunhill. I cannot praise them enough. The whole team - Jan, Lisa, Laura, Izzy, Emma, Sarah, Sue (sorry if I missed others out!) are amazing. They had a real plan - tactics, experience, ideas and most importantly, passion. They really care. And the whole team are so fun! Every time we pick our son up they're doing something, getting into mischief and he's now very happy - as are all the kids. The space is fabulous, outside and inside and they are amazing at entertaining the kids. We're allowed into the room so we get a real feel of what is going on which we never had before. From a personal perspective I am really aware that they are aware of your feelings as a parent and how difficult drop of can be. I can't recommend them enough. Best in town!

Our older daughter attended Sunhill Preschool until she left to start school then our younger son started when he was 1. We've always had a very positive experience. The staff in the baby room were wonderful at helping my son to settle and forming bonds with him that were lovely to see and reassuring when leaving a little one for the first time in childcare. The nursery offers lots of fun activities and outside space and the children always seem to be having a great time. I appreciate the updates via app from the nursery. All of the staff clearly care for the children and are very engaged and caring.

She has made great relationships there with both children and staff and has had an easy transition up into pre-school recently. There is a great community and parents are encouraged to invite everyone in the class to parties, which has been really useful for us being new to the area. We would thoroughly recommend Sunhill, which is a really warm, welcoming place to be part of.
