Overall Experience

We really love our nursery! Everyone is so friendly, kind, and caring, and they always make us feel welcome. They take excellent care of our little one, Izabell, and we can see how much she enjoys spending time there. The staff do a fantastic job teaching her new things every day and helping her develop her communication, confidence, and social skills. We truly appreciate all the hard work, patience, and dedication of the team. It's wonderful to see Izabell so happy, excited to learn, and making great progress. We highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe, caring, and supportive environment for their child.

Overall Experience

I highly recommend this nursery to anyone thinking of having their kids start their learning journey. I've always held the staff in the highest regard as they've always been helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable. The chef, Lordana, always makes a great menu and my son always comes home saying he loved the food. The nursery itself is spacious, and there always seems that the staff have plenty of activities for them to do. I also like the fact that the kids also have yoga and football taught to them by separate specialists. Overtime, I have seen my son develop his physical capabilities and also his mental capabilities. I believe the team have done an amazing job getting him ready for reception. Overall, my son is also happy to go to nursery and has always come home with a smile on his face.

They do a lot of creative and fun activity, many outside in the beautiful garden. My daughter had the chance to try so many new things I wouldn't have been able to give her, including dancing and pottery! I feel lucky to have found such a good nursery

Overall Experience
When I first started looking at nurseries, I worried we'd never find the right one. I dreaded going back to work after maternity leave, wondering if my son would be happy. I needn't have worried because choosing Mary Poppins was one of the best decisions we ever made.
The staff are incredible. They create such a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment, and my son has loved every minute of his four years there. We've never had any trouble getting him through the door in the mornings, and the progress he's made has been phenomenal.
I can't believe his journey there is coming to an end, and I'm so sad he's leaving for primary school. Thankfully, our youngest son is now following in his footsteps, and I know he'll receive the same outstanding care and attention.

Thank you to everyone at Mary Poppins. We will be forever grateful for the love, care and dedication that you have shown our boys.

My daughter has been attending Kindred Church house for a few months now, and absolutely loves going in every day. The staff are kind and caring, the variety of food is brilliant and the increase in her confidence and communication skills is already evident, so we're thrilled.

The amount of outside space is the only minor compromise to the setting, but the staff really make the most of what they have with different areas for play, and in a true town centre location, it's not possible to have acres of land attached to the nursery.

Overall Experience
They say it takes a village to raise a child, and this nursery has become a core part of "our village" since first our son and now our daughter have attended. The peace of mind that comes with dropping her off each morning, knowing she is stepping into a safe, deeply nurturing, and joyful environment, is absolutely priceless.
The staff are nothing short of remarkable. Their energy is boundsless, and they seem to effortlessly create inspiring activities day in, day out. Whether it's creative messy play, outdoor adventures, or brilliant sensory setups, the care and thought they put into her development is obvious.
They are more than just a childcare provider, they feel like an extension of our family. The staff genuinely know her, celebrate her milestones, and support her individuality. We couldn't ask for a better foundation for her early years and have already witnessed its impact as our son has moved on to school and continued to flourish.

This nursery has been a god send, all staff are amazing! My little one has come on leaps and bounds since joining!
The nursery has gone above and beyond to help and support my little one and us parents!

Stephen and Shelley are superstars and I would 100% recommend this nursery!

I have had children at this nursery for 7 years. I could never imagine having my children anywhere else from the day I looked around.

I've just given notice to withdraw my children. A message that wasn't even acknowledged.

The nursery was privately owned and incredible. It was taken over by Kindred and has gone completely downhill.

There are some amazing team members who do an amazing job which make leaving a poor review hard but overall the nursery's performance is poor.

From people appearing to be in rooms to be "bodies" who sit not interested or interacting with the children, to my child coming home with bright yellow wee (on numerous occasions), to going to pick up from a room walking into the garden to not see anyone I recognise, calling my child to leave without any engagement, the bodies (who appear to be making up adult to child ratios) clearly uninterested. Someone did approach from the other room as I walked back through but it was the only face I knew.

The teachers are exceptionally caring and go above and beyond to make sure every child feels safe, loved, and valued. We've seen a wonderful positive change in our child's confidence and social skills. Communication with parents is also top-notch-we always get regular updates and photos. Kindred St Ives has been amazing for my little boy. He has come out of his shell and now is happy to try absolutely anything and interact with anyone. He has made a little group of friends who he's always excited to see, and becomes very animated when he comes into his room. All of the staff who care for him are helpful, compassionate, and always working with me to do what's best for him. Before nursery, he struggled with his eating solid foods, and since coming into the baby room, his willingness to eat solid food and his ability to use cutlery is night and day. I am so happy with how happy he is to be there everyday!

We can't recommend Kindred, Billericay enough! Our son has grown to love it there and looks forward to his time there. He has a special bond with his key person and the other ladies looking after him. As parents we know he is well looked after and cared for. We love the daily updates and photos we receive, they put our minds at ease. During the hot weather the nursery has taken extra care to keep the children cool, with water play and calm activities. All round, would recommend to any parent.

My daughter started this nursery in the baby room earlier this year. Staff were so supportive of both baby and I, and really helped her to settle in. Both my children have attended this nursery with my oldest starting in September 21 and my youngest leaving this week. I cannot praise the nursery enough for everything they have done for my children. They both loved coming to this nursery, the staff are amazing,

Communication has always been excellent and I always felt anything I had to say was listened to. They were always flexible with any arrangements I needed to change for work. Their safe guarding was excellent, my children were never just released to people the staff didn't know. My children always told me about new things they learnt and I was always happy to see what great days my children always had at nursery and would encourage people to send their children here too

Large open spaces for the children to play in, friendly (and funny!) staff. Would always recommend.

For a short period of time we noticed our little one had poo in his nappy just as we were putting him in the car (and didn't feel right about bringing him back in for nappy changing), but that stopped being a problem recently and may be nothing to do with the staff, just coincidental.

Our son has attended kindred for just over a year now. We couldn't be happier with kindred nursery for our son.
When I first raised concerns that he might have additional needs, the team listened without judgment, took the time to observe him, and quickly put an action plan in place to ensure he received the support he needed. As a parent, that level of understanding and proactive care meant the world to us.
Every member of staff is incredibly kind, caring, patient, and genuinely invested in the children's wellbeing and development. It's clear they build strong relationships with both the children and their families.

I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. It's a wonderful, nurturing environment, and we're excited to watch our son continue to grow, learn, and flourish as he moves through the rooms and on to preschool. Thank you to the whole team for everything you do!

My daughter has been going here since she was almost 1 and is now 4 and will sadly soon be leaving to start school. Our daughter has absolutely loved going to nursery throughout her time there and looks forward to her nursery days. Everything is communicated to us clearly and efficiently and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming on drop offs. I can't thank them all enough for making our family's nursery experience 10/10. :)

My twins absolutely love attending this nursery and have built fantastic relationships with the staff. The team is caring, friendly, and always makes the children feel safe and happy. It's clear that they enjoy a wide range of engaging activities and learning opportunities every day. In fact, they often don't want to leave when we arrive for pick-up, which says everything about how much they enjoy being there. My daughter has previously attended the nursery, so I knew my son was in good hands when he started in February. From day one everyone in his room has been so kind and caring. My son is currently behind with his speech and understanding and I've felt very supported with this. At every pick up they always give such thorough feedback on how he's been and genuinely seem happy to report on any progress he's made that day. My son is always so happy and excited to attend nursery and that's testament to all the staff who look after him and make his time there so enjoyable.

My son has been attending Mary Poppins for almost a year now and he has learnt so much in his time there! He is more confident at using his cutlery because the staff have helped him. He loves coming to nursery and has made many friends there! I would recommend Mary Poppins.
